I was pleasantly surprised to discover that Zurich had a Jamaican restaurant. I was even more surprised at the authenticity of the food.
I had Jamaica's National Dish, Ackee and Saltfish for breakfast and it not only tasted great, but the portions were more than generous. I had a hard time finishing my meal because I was full half-way thru it.
The Restaurant is owned and operated by the Clarke's, a Jamaican husband and his Swiss wife. I found Mrs. Clarke to be a very warm and accommodating host.
While the food and attitude were legitimately Jamaican, you should know that there isn't a lot of space to dine-in. If you are out on the town with a large group of friends you may not find enough space to sit and enjoy your meal. read more
