I've been getting car repairs from Leon's Auto Repair over the years, and I have always been…read morepleased with the service. I have heard good things about his work from any local car place I've talked to. Leon is honest. His diagnoses of car issues are skilled and accurate. Before I bought a used car recently, he evaluated it free of charge, and caught an issue that another mechanic had missed. Leon goes above and beyond the call of duty. He has fit my car into his schedule quickly to do brief check-outs and diagnoses at no charge, though he is very busy. He is easy to communicate with because he is direct, respectful and patient. Cars are not my forte, and I've never been talked down to, or experienced condescension.

Definitely not pushy! When I picked it up it was spotless with a full tank of gas. They even encouraged me to stop back if I have any questions about all the high tech equipment. The decision was to buy small and local. Thanks!

The only thing that bothers me is now EVERYONE seems to know how trustworthy Ryan's Auto is, so it can be a week's wait to get in, and sometimes I can only half the work done, then need to come back again. To me, it's worth it to know I'm not getting ripped off.

Although they do have snacks. Also have free coffee for shoppers convenience which is nice. Brought my cargo buddy in here to have one of the tires fixed. Turned out to be a bigger job than anticipated. They worked on it and got it fixed and charged me regular price. Was expecting more due to it taking so long. Just before the snow fell I bought some mole bait. Guess that will have to wait until spring. All in all I have had very positive experiences here at Village Farm & Home Store. Three thumbs up

I brought my car to him and said there was front end shake. That all the tires had been recently balanced. Up on the lift he could see that the axle joints were shot. He ordered new ones and replaced the old ones. I was glad to get the old ones replaced -- but the shake was still there. I will never do self-analysis of a car's problem again. After Tony drove the car yet again, he felt the shake was more in the rear. The more I thought, the more I remembered that only the front wheels had been balanced. He balanced all four wheels and the shake is gone and his fees are very fair. --Bob Modersohn, Lansing, Iowa

Three thumbs up here.
