I have had several of the same issues that others who have left poor reviews (which are all the way at the bottom of the reviews). We have major theft issues in our neighborhood and so we keep our gates to our front yard locked at all times. You would think it would be a reasonable request to simply schedule your service in advance. But after several attempts with our very rude and unprofessional technician Named Rich I finally began to call the office. The new lady who answers the phone named "Cat" doesn't know what she's doing AT ALL. Says she will call me right back. Never does. Says she will have the person that can help me call me back. Nobody ever calls. It does very much seem as the person below noted. That they prefer you not being home when they are at your house. We are not at all ok with this. Finally i called the office and said that I wanted to request a new technician. Cat told me that she would have the supervisor call me. The next day the supervisor called me and I missed the call. We had 2 sudden deaths in our family and have had a lot of chaos. I was trying to deal with my family emergencies. Not stressing about calling him back as I knew I had a service appt tomorrow on Friday. Well now I got a message from him saying that if he doesn't hear back from me by tomorrow at 5pm that they will have to close my account. Wow. Really?! Is that a threat?! Please pretty please DO IT!! I was completely shocked by the message and I can honestly say I was born and raised here in cottonwood ca and I'm 40 years old. All me and my husbands family members use Clark's. As well as several of our local neighbors and many of my friends and people we attend church with. I will absolutely be talking to ALL OF THOSE PEOPLE IMMEDIATELY and Clark's Pest Control can bet on losing SEVERAL accounts within the coming weeks. I will also be contacting the Better Business Buero as well as there have been some other very shady things going on. Please listen to this message warning and Stay away from Clark's Pest Control. God forbid you ask to know when they're coming. But if you dare ask for a different technician that will actually answer your calls or text. Then they kick you out. Unbelievable right??!! I have used Jeff's Pest Control for a number of years and was very satisfied, but the business was taken over by Clark's several months ago. I was paying $43 a month and was getting good service. Two months ago, I received a letter saying they were going from a monthly service to every other month. I thought this was going to be OK because the mentioned that if you had any problems in between to just call and they would take care of it. I just had my service and was given a bill for $85. After calling, I was told that was the new charge. I asked if that was 2 visits and was told no, each visit would be charge that. That is a 100% increase for one half the service. We also used Jeff/s Pest Control for 2 years, not a bad thing to say. After Jeff sold his business to Clark 'Pest Control, they told us we owe them $ 100 because it is now twice at much for only coming out every second month. But it is still $ 50 a month right, but they only come out every second month. Do they think we are stupid? So, we are looking for another pest control company. They do not even call and ask if we are OK with that, they just send you a statement and tell the technician we have to pay our bill. Even I write a check right away. I can't say enough about how great of a company CPC is, but what really makes them stand out is their commitment to customer service and customer happiness. I made an appointment with Clarks to be at my house between 9 AM and noon on a Tuesday. Tuesday arrived and they called me at 8:30 in the morning to cancel and let me know it would be three days before they could come out. I had already made arrangements to be home for this time period. I should have used a local company. I won't make this mistake again. read more

Excellent workmanship on repairs. No cutting corners that would require repairs in the future, which could result in a "BIG TIME" problem a few years down the road. If you want to do business with clark, make sure you have surveillance around your property.. they claim to have done pest control service but actually dont show up...and are quick to bill you. And if you want to speak to the technician they claim you must pay first...we asked them several times to let us know before the tech shows up so we can be there to see if they actually do the service, they never do..Luckily we have footage of when they claim they showed up and actually didnt... before you go off all the positive reviews make sure you scroll to the bottom where it shows the "reviews that are not recommended"... read more

Very prompt, reliable and friendly. Great customer service! Willing to help with payments. They come 1x a month and spray outside and since we got them we haven't had any problems with fleas or any other pesty bugs. ( We have 3 dogs that are inside and 3 outside and other farm animals.) read more

My real estate agent had Clark Pest Control from redding Ca. do a pest inspection on a house I am considering to buy. When the inspector came to the house I had to approach him and introduce myself.The inspector barely said hello. I'm not sure if he even spoke english. It was a two story home. When the report came back it noted that the second story was inaccesable and they would come back out if scaffolding was rented. Oh and they would even charge me more money to come out. Did I mention there was a house inspector there with his ladder and he was using it to inspect the second story? The report also noted that they were unable to inspect under the house due to insulation. Some was hanging down and there appeared to be no infestation......Hmmm the house only had insulation in 200 S.F. of the 1440 To top it off the company is happy to take your money then send the paid receipt to the realator in his name so he can use it as a tax write off. When I called Clark Pest Control I was told that the receipt was allready printed and she could issue me one with $0.00....I told her that would not work that I am requesting a receipt with my name on it or they could happily refund me the money I paid not the realator. I was told that i would have a emailed receiot the following day With my name a the paying party. The picture the company advertises is nothing what they deliver. Our service tech Logan is professional, friendly and always takes care of anything we ask him to. He always asks if there have been any problems since his last visit and reminds us that we can call for him to come out if anything is needed in between regular service times. We have the lawn and landscape service also and our lawn stays in good condition. read more
