When I came in for my first visit, I was impressed by Dr. Clark's knowledge in his field (since I typically like to ask a lot of questions) and conservative approach to treating foot conditions (using alternatives to surgery). My first impression was really great considering I felt they were really thoughtful about patient insurance situations, etc. and the fact that they were friendly and had a good sense of humor.
However, the second time I visited, I was quite appalled by the fact that the doctor didn't have the decency to look or glance at my chart BEFORE seeing me. The conversation was repetitive, as I had heard much of the same thing in my first visit. It was as if he didn't even remember me coming in the first time. I was especially disgruntled when he gave me the SAME diagnosis as the first visit and gave me the exact same "take-home treatment" even though I said that this was what he had done the first visit. He continued to argue with me until he actually looked at my chart, and conceded. After that, he left the room in a hurry to attend to another patient and didn't even finish answering my questions.
In the end, I would definitely not recommend him to another person. Additionally, his billing was ridiculous since it appeared that I was billed for every little procedure, which was REPEATED at the second visit. I asked about the bill, and the office worker gave me a quick reply and didn't go into detail about the bill. read more
