A fun, different history lesson in Vegas not your typical Strip attraction…read moreI was looking for something abstract and off-the-beaten-path to do in Vegas instead of the usual stuff, and a friend suggested the Mob Museum. I hadn't been since it first opened years ago, so I got genuinely excited to check it out again. Man, I'm glad I did. This place is packed with history and it doesn't hold back. Be prepared: some exhibits get pretty gory, and there's a lot about law enforcement taking down gangsters. There's nothing glorious about the violence or the killing, but you can also see the other side of it. During the Great Depression, when people were struggling just to eat, some folks romanticized the mobsters like Robin Hood figures or even treated them like celebrities. The museum does a solid job showing all of that without sugarcoating. It's a real deep dive tons of detail across multiple floors, interactive stuff, and artifacts that make it feel immersive. If you're into history at all, you'll eat this up. And yes, if it wasn't for the mob, Vegas as we know it probably wouldn't exist. That alone makes it worth visiting. My buddy was most excited about the speakeasy bar at the bottom (The Underground), and it definitely delivered. Cool Prohibition-era vibe with craft cocktails perfect way to end the visit. Overall, this was my "oddball" activity of the trip (right after hitting Bugsy's bar, of course). The way they've put it all together is really well done. If you've got a few sober(ish) hours and want something different from the usual Vegas grind, definitely check it out. It's a nice change of pace and a solid history lesson wrapped in a unique experience. Would go again!

My Apocalypse Vegas Experience has started in North Las Vegas and ladies & gentleman its real. WOW,…read moreI was heading to tour Neon Museum and decided to continue my drive deep into North Las Vegas where no man or woman should drive and discovered the end of the world here! Fellow travelers the Zombie Apocalypse Is real as it get and they live on the streets of North Las Vegas. So I'm driving and the first thing I see is an actual street walking prostitute getting ready for some Friday night tricks, needless to say I didn't stop and say hi.... As my drive continued into the waist-land of human carnage laid upon the streets in cardboard boxes, plastic tents and cement beds I also noticed the wheelchairs (vehicle of choice ) that people sitting around in. You can see the countless police cruisers handling some multiple incidents, so if you wanna watch just follow the flashing blue lights and it's no K-Mart Special happening. This went on for miles while I drove. A few casinos actually existed but you'd take your own life trying to get from parking to the doors without getting clubbed over your skull and robbed. ( Safety NOTE ), so be careful while driving cause people just start walking across the street no matter how fast your driving. I almost had some road kill mounted to the hood of my car while heading out of town for some person just walking ( HELLO RED HAND LIGHT IS FOR TO STOP ) and I even had a green light to drive...I'm fairly sure if you came into contact with anyone in this area you defiantly has a 100% chance of getting either HIV, CV19 or some new immune deficiency that's not been detected. Maybe you wanna take the kids to scare them about the dangers of drugs but you may scar them for life. But if you do I expect a family photo to be posted on YELP... Now if you do journey into North Las Vegas lock your doors cause you've been warned! Aloha

I walked through the metal detectors with No problems. Walked inside the open doorway to see two kiosks available. I walked up to one and tapped on the glass (of the kiosks) to get a Guest Service ticket. I waited patiently being that I was number 5 in the queue. I ended up getting Shannon to assist me and her Customer Service skills were outstanding. She treated me as a human being not a Citation number. It took us about twenty minutes to get me totally squared away. Shannon first didn't see my citation in the system. I was like so, My ticket is null and void? We both laughed it off but the system was updated in October of 2025. I'm certain that some people that had tickets weren't in the new system kinda like my ticket wasn't. Shannon was such a sweetheart, she also had a great personality. I was able to take care of my ticket today without hassles.
