I returned to the fair on 8/10/25 to watch the Monster Trucks. I seen the 2pm show and it was good. I will defiantly return to watch the Monster Trucks again next year. I returned to the Hog Daddy's tent to get a 4.00 refill in my Fair souvenir cup. I had to leave the Fair early due to the heat. It was 100 degrees out. I returned to the fair again this year (2026) and must say if the food, rides, and games prices was as cheap as the admission tickets to get in to the fair, more people would come and or return. The price gouging once inside is what keeps people from returning. Let me start off with the pros about the fair. I enjoyed all of the farm animals. Curly the Camel was awesome, Dogstown, The Pirate Parrot Show, Evergreen Dance Academy, Magician Adam the Great, and Tyzen the Comedy Hipnotist was all great shows. Now for the Grandstand I enjoyed seeing Collective Soul, Extreme Bull Riding, Mutton Bustin', and of corse the Monster Trucks never a disappoint. One thing I missed from last year was not at the fair this year was the Budeweiser horses and wagon. I felt the I love the 90's Tour Concert featuring Tone Loc, Young MC, & Vanilla Ice could have been better. They played a couple of there own songs and a whole lot of other singers songs from the 90's. To be honest I have been to lots of concerts in my life and I think this one was the worst one I have ever seen. Looking for a deal on food, I found the Greek Cuisine. For 22.00 tax included you get a Gyro with choice of Lamb or chicken with Garlic Fries and a drink. I wish more restaurants would have a meal deal. The cons about the fair was the prices. I expected prices to be more expensive than outside of the fair but all of the food was outrageously expensive. Large Corndogs for 15.00, corn on the cob for 10.00, Turkey legs for 20.00, Popcorn was 9.00, most burgers started at around 10.00 with no side or drink included. 10.00 don't sound expensive but by the time you add fries and a drink its between 25.00-30.00 What a scam! Even the lemonade was expensive 8.00 for the first one and 5.00 for refills. I wasn't aware lemons, sugar, and water was so expensive. Crazy! Another expensive thing was the rides. 1.00 a ticket and most rides was 7 tickets. And the games was around 4 to 6 tickets. They did sell ride bracelets for 35.00 but if you have little ones that can't ride many rides due to height requirements and are limited. Ride bracelets are not worth it. There was no special discounts or bracelets for the games. Another thing that was new this year i did not like was having to wait till Approximately around 6pm till we could get into the Grandstands to reserve a seat. Security would not let anyone up to sit in the bleachers. All of these prices may not seem expensive to some, but with a family of 4 or 5 that all adds up quickly I ate at Philly Diner and had a Philly Cheesesteak and got the worst sandwich I have ever had. It cost 11.00 which wasn't badly priced for Cheesesteak but when I recived it the bun was cut in half and the meat, onion and peppers was very greasy and made the bread soggy and the sandwich was overfilled. I went to take 1 bite and all the cheesesteak fillings emptied out the bottom and was no longer a sandwich anymore. In a Philly cheesesteak the bread isn't supposed to be cut all the way threw so you don't loose all the cheesesteak fillings. I ended up throwing that hot mess away and was very disappointed. Will definitely not be eating there again. Definitely no one working here was from Philadelphia that was for sure! The only things I didn't do at the Clark County Fair was the Midland Country Music Concert, Rough Stock Rodeo, SxS Racing, Tuff Trucks, professor Smart Sience Show, Break-A-Boyz, and Mars Encounter Live Show. I will be back again next year. Probably not doing any rides or games and will bring my own cooler with cold drinks and food in the fair with me. What an expensive scam they are running here. I defiantly think it's time for whoever is in charge of the fair to get some new food options and a new ride vendor to come in to the fair that won't run off there customers with expensive prices. I actually think that instead of vendors from out of state they should invite local food truck vendors from threw out Clark County and the State of Washington and Oregon to support local business instead of vendors that more than likely came up from California. Butler Amusement is located in Fairfield California. A Local Amusement Vendor is Funtastic Traveling Amusment located in Portland. Very local. I will Yelp and Google Review an update again next year. I will start off saying that Midland was terrific last Friday evening at the fair. We had second row seats and enjoyed the show tremendously. But...telling us to sit down at a concert was just silly. There were four younger ladies in front of us and they being up did not bother me. I understand that some of the people in the front were not thrilled when concert goers would stand in front of them. But it is a frickin concert, have fun. I have read many comments that the pricing for food was high as well. I just don't agree. The prices are lower than the Washington County Fair, and there are so many choices. Plus...this concert was only $48 to attend...and it got us in the Fair. I hate giving the Fair only one star, but the attitude and the actions of the security staff was appaling. read more

Oh the fair. What to say. It's the fair lol Spendy food, rides, games and lots of people. Oh and lets not forget about the numerous vendors selling their spendy loot too. Some of the food is good, most isn't worth the money. The monster trucks can be fun to watch! And I personally enjoy looking at the animals. The fair is probably more enjoyable if you have kids to take and enjoy it with. Overall if you've never been most definitely go! But would I make this a yearly routine...likely not. read more

Walking through the Clark County Fair for the first time in...well, let's just say...a long time, feels like stepping through a time rift into the past, when I was a teenager spending all day, for multiple days, experiencing everything this annual event has to offer. This is both a good and bad thing. Good: It feels like nothing has changed at all in the past thirty-whatever years. Bad: It feels like nothing has changed AT ALL in the past thirty *mumble mumble* years. In whichever of those two camps you find yourself falling into will decide whether the Clark County Fair is either a "do-not-miss yearly celebration", or a "once-in-a-decade-or-so money-pit distraction". Having outgrown the former since I no longer care about the amusement park thrill rides, I find myself edging slowly towards the latter, though by no means am I indifferent to all of its remaining charms. My wife and I both love seeing the animals, eating (select, meticulously chosen, and absolutely NOT deep fried) junk food, and seeing the kids have a blast enjoying all the things I used to love about the fair. Concerning almost everything else, we are ambivalent. We *know* it is going to be expensive. We know the traffic and the parking sucks (although they've definitely improved things over the years, at least based on our first-Saturday visit). Most, if not all of the live entertainment is not to our taste. Many of the vendors in the exhibition hall are pushy and annoying; just let us browse in peace! And of course, when people gather en masse, the levels of stupid, oblivious and downright rude skyrocket into the stratosphere. Still, as a nostalgic walk down memory lane, when I wasn't bitter or jaded enough to write a review like this one...that alone is worth the price of admission. read more

Carni games and staff were friendlier than most other fairs. Expect Long lines for rides the last hours up until closing. lots of food options at the food court. Clean and friendly staff. Have attended Many events here as a vendor and as a customer. Staff is friendly and nice. Very roomy and clean. So much going on all the time. Very fun place to go to. Every season has so much to offer. Giant garage sales here 4x a year, major deals and new items plus, antiques, furniture and much more. Summer time has rides and lots of live music options. Nothing really compares with a good old fashioned well organized county fair. I have been to many county fairs from the largest in the world (Los Angeles County) to the smallest (Calumet County, WI) and I have to say that as far as county fairs go, this one fits right in the middle perfectly. Tonight The Wife, The Tax Deduction and I ventured out to the fair to see how my entries in baked goods fared at the.. well... fair. After a small fiasco with the parking attendants where we were routed into and out of the fairgrounds without being waved in to park anywhere having to drive around and explain what happened, we made a bee line to the Home Arts to see how I did. After that (3 entries, 3 wins) we went and ate, the small one wanted a hot dog, the Wife and I wanted the Mesquite BBQ situated conveniently next to the Dairy Women's soft serve ice cream stand. Call it kismet, call it destiny, I call it good eats! We did everything to entertain the Tax Deduction, he rode ponies, found an inflatable Batman figure on a stick we got for him and we went and saw Rabbits and Cows and Goats and Sheep and more. Since he is only 4 we were limited in the carnival section, which is good because carnival people (in fairs, not the cruise ship) just scare the tar out of me, who grows up saying, "I want to be a carny when I grow up."? Maybe have to know the right people? As the evening wound down we toured some exhibits, made some changes to our cable television line up, drank free ice water courtesy of the county water company and I got to make fun of both the Republicans and the Democrats in their little booths spewing lies to the good people of Clark County. They need to figure out their parking. went from 4 lanes to 3 to 2 and after paying $8 to park they shoved me out the exit and said there is no refunds. super unorganized. charged $12 just to walk in the fair and $20 for the bare min bracelet. gets you 18 tickets and each game or ride is 5. forcing you to pay for 2 more tickets if you want to get 3 activities out of your stay. everyone working here seemed like they hate their job. highly disappointed. read more

Clark County Fair!! Its that time of Year again to enjoy the fair. Access to the grounds is still very organized, plenty of parking, and many booths to pay for entry. The cost seems to be getting more expensive every year. Parking $6, Entry to get into the fair is $11.25 per adult, then to ride all the rides its $35. That's can be a lot of money for some low to middle income families, not counting the prices of food as well all know its costly, equal to buying snacks at the movies. However if your at the fair I highly recommend eating at the Shriner's, booth. All there food is yummy. The shrimp basket with fries and the clam chowder is to die for. The DeMolay Booth has come great cress cut fires and onion bowels. Enjoy your time at the Fair! read more

The Clark County Fair is overpriced for what it offers. Old out of date artists playing live music, over priced carnival rides with waits that rival disney, food that is the same each year since all they do is rely on the past, garbage bug attraction, parking at cash only, and rude staff/sub contracted event staff. For parking, 1 adult, and 1 child is $25.50 to just park and get in. Rides are way over priced and not in great shape. CASH ONLY parking no receipt for documentation (non profit, really?). Nore than half the vendors are the same each year and half of them are rude for just looking or are home products, religious, or political advertising. Maybe 20% of vendors are worth keeping. The overall cost to value is not there at all anymore. Monster trucks and car things are only nice for one night...not a few days. It's boring once you hand over your money too. read more

Had a really awesome time at the 150th. Went on a Sunday and saw Grand Funk Railroad with my younger girl friend who loved them. She loved the entire fair. It can get spendy though... She loved her time there so much her mother got her boy friend to take her the next day. lol A really fun time with a lot to do. 1 thing they could do, is throw some more seating out for people that's more easily accessible. I would also consider some more reasonably priced activities like rides and whatnot. I will be back next year. read more

My buddy was manning the Democratic Booth on the 1st Sunday Night of the 2012 Clark County Fair. Although I don't agree with his politics, I admire his enthusiasm and figured I would say Hello. This being after returning home from a 9 hour car trip with puking babies and screaming wives. The fair closed at 10:00 p.m. so I figured as we were arriving at 9:00 p.m., we can't possibly have to pay to get in. Was I wrong!! After the guards check our baby bag for contraband, we ask where the Political Booths are located. They inform us and as we continue on, only for them to stop us and ask where our tickets are. Tickets? It's 9:00 p.m. and you close in an hour, we really need tickets? Yes, they say, so we walk up to the ticket booth and again, informed we need to buy tickets at $10 a pop. There's 3 of us. Seriously, $30 just to walk in for an hour? Highway Robbery! I explain to the ticket lady that it's 9:00 p.m. and you're closing in an hour and you're really going to charge me just to go say hello to my buddy inside. She says, Yep, the people who run the Fair demand everybody pays regardless of the time. I should have just walked out right there, but the misses and her brother wanted to see our friend, so we paid. I still can't believe I agreed to this. HA HA But I'm even more troubled, the Fair only cares about $$ and not the fans enjoyment. What did they really think I was going to do in 1 hour to justify full fare? At least the Parking Attendant had common sense not to charge for Parking, I only wish the organizers of the Fair had the same common sense. read more

Wow! Best year yet! Tough trucks on Friday night was awesome. Lots of great fair food, drinks, and snacks! All kinds of beautiful animals to view up close. Lots of events are held here. The grounds are well kept, nicely laid out, and houses plenty of convenient parking.

We go every year hosting our family. Very nice fair with a lot of nice animal owners to show them and answer city folk questions. Food is awesome and we love to indulge on stuff we would never eat otherwise. Overall great exhibitors, volunteers, and venue. I feel it is a completely safe place for my family. My only complaint is the rides. The fair opens at 11:00, but not the rides. That's just when they begin their start up process. At 12:30, some were just starting to accept riders. The other issue on the rides is young children. They really should tell you at the ticket booth when you go to buy a $30 'all rides wrist band' for a small child, there's only a few rides they'll be able to go on due to height restrictions. I felt them not doing so was a flat out rip off. So, unless you or your child are over 4.5' tall, buy the tickets, not the wrist band because they sure as hell won't provide that advise! read more

Don't be scamed by Mexican food place near ice cream place by dairy women. They are making BBQ turkey legs. They looked really good and we asked for two to go. They wrapped them in foil and off we walked back to our car. When we got home we discovered that they sold us two that they could not sell. One was really burned and the other was a size of a chicken leg for $23.00. I should have looked at them but they were wrapped in foil. My loss, but don't you be fooled. We felt really badly because we talked to the cook before purchasing the turkey legs and he was so proud of them and his preparation. It was the folks in the back that wrapped them in foil so we could bring them home. Buyer beware....... read more

Clark County Fair was disappointing to us adults the children loved it however not one ride operator spoke English not only that I was very concerned because while a ride was moving I saw Mexican ride attendant running up to it with a wrench. That's very concerning does not make for a safe environment. it was way over priced feel like they were scalping raping us for money and this is the first Fair I've ever been to a head no veteran discount and they had a veteran discount day in the middle of a work week when most of us were veterans or hard-working Americans have jobs and we are unable to utilize it so Clark County Fair was a major disappointment and is not keeping with American values and I have no faith or trust in Clark County Fair or the right attendance if you're going to have someone spinning your children around you want them to speak your language. I saw too many rides getting shut down and they had too many Hispanic feller's and dust speak English trying to fix them I do not trust a mechanic on any type of equipment if they do not speak my language. safety belts that were on the bumper cars were inadequate our youngest got hurt. The best parts of the fair where the vendors and Marshall Tucker Band the rides and ride attendance and agency that used to run the rides need to be fired and never utilized again instead of Outsourcing Hispanic males that do not speak English in an American setting where they have their in charge of the safety of our children you should have people that speak our language or have assimilated to our culture this was the biggest disappointment of this year and those investors of Clark County Fair should really revisit and see if they're spending their money wisely. I just feel blessed that my kids and family were not hurt because if they were I would have raised hell and high water and I would have went after every single one of these people that put on the fair and I would put the same amount of pain and suffering on them. read more

Best ever fun all put on by a Huge amount of volunteers. People need to remember it is a fair your there to have fun learn about agriculture a see new things, learn about the different animals. See How Washington State honors its residents in the county by the ribbons it receives... Come on give it a try again and again. Don't let some people who have to bring down the mood by only talking about its bad moments. Take pictures of the great and good and even not so good moments and laugh have fun and relax, go and try to only do the free things and get a different prospective. Better yet.... make something and enter it in the fair. you have any talent try this and see maybe your experience at the Clark County Fair will be a uplifting and enjoyably one, to see you there near the mannequins as you enter the air conditioned building....( the real part of the fair.) better yet Volunteer and smile even bigger knowing that some how you had a part in a very BIG way. so come make your mark in life and have a Splash at the 2015 CCF... There weren't many places to sit in the shade, so it was a bit treacherous BUT the main food area was covered with plenty of places to sit. I'm just saying that You can't have a yelper surrounded by that much food. lol anyways from what I could tell, the animals that were on display there were rescued and there were collection areas there to raise money for the animals (I hope it really goes to the welfare of the poor things). In attendance with me was my Fiance and his mother. I went to pay for the iced coffee we had all gotten with a $20.00 and his mother put a 20.00 down as well and the sheisty woman put the 20.00 in her tip cup and made change from my Fiance's money. I shot her the "lol nice try" face and took the 20.00 out of the tip cup and we left. My advice: go, enjoy yourself but watch your money. I can't even begin to tell you how many times I saw things like that happen. OH and keep your eyes peeled for the chocolate dipped bananas, they're hilarious. read more

I love this fair! Even though i am a little bit afraid of most of the upside down rides, it is a fun experience that happens once a year. Get a bracelet and you can go on any ride as many times as you want, way better then tickets. If you want fun and thrill clark county fair is the place for you. Also lots of food options that are classic for food booths. Cotton candy, funnel cakes, hotdogs, and more. Sometimes it can be frustrating when you feel you can " accomplish " a ride and they tell you that you are to short. Ferris wheel is fun though, but the smaller one jerks suddenly when you least expect it. My personal favorite is the yoyo. The nice thing is that you can see the animals in the morning and ride the rides for the rest of the day. You can get a stamp if you have a wristband , that if it doesn't wash off that day you can come back later that day which is nice for getting a meal. Most rides though i would not recommend for very small children, such as the Ferris wheel and some others. At night it is quite beautiful as the whole fair lights up. Definitely a fun place to go with your family. There is a few options for smaller children so don't be frustrated with what to do with the smaller ones. Fun place!! read more

Definately not like it used to be. This year they have added some more exhibits such as the exotic animals shark tank and haunted house etc. There didn't seem to be as many vendors as there used to be. Alot of them ate realators, window companies, and natural healing specialists. I don't recall so much of that In it's previous history. Also I thought the food was way down on quality by far and way up In price. I bought two onion air burgers (wich are the size of mcdonalds cheeseburgers now) and two med. Sodas and came to 16 dollars. I'm used to paying that kind of price at the rose garden or qwest field but not at a fair. Oh and if you need cash and you need an ATM expect a $3 transaction charge. And also if you bring the kids for rides to go on bring alot more cash than your probably thinkin. The average cost for a ride is $4 or $5 dollars in tickets. So if you wanna go on a ride with your kid your lookin at $8-$10 a ride. So overall I thought it was way over priced for the average family especially in todays times. Oh and I would eat before you go and make sure to bring plenty of cash. read more
