The on-duty manager completed a claim report and took photos of the damage. Unfortunately, my email address was entered incorrectly on the claim, requiring me to return to the location to follow up. During that visit, I was shown documentation indicating that my claim had been accepted and approved, and I was instructed to obtain two repair estimates. I promptly obtained the requested estimates and submitted them to Kyle West as directed. After receiving no response, I followed up to confirm receipt and ask about next steps. I was then informed that the claim would no longer be approved because the damaged light bar was considered an aftermarket accessory rather than factory-installed equipment. This explanation was concerning because there were no visible signs at the entrance, payment area, or car wash entrance indicating that the company is not responsible for damage to aftermarket accessories or that customers enter at their own risk. Additionally, neither of the two employees assisting me at the time informed me of any such policy before I entered the wash. After receiving the denial, I returned to the location and documented the signage with photos and video. I then respectfully requested that the company reconsider its decision and honor the claim that had previously been approved. To date, I have not received a response or acknowledgment of my follow-up communication. I normally do not post negative reviews, but after multiple attempts to resolve this matter directly and professionally, I feel it is important to share my experience so that other customers can make informed decisions. My concern is not only the damage itself, but also the lack of communication and the reversal of an initially approved claim after I completed the steps the company requested. I hope the company will reconsider and work toward a fair resolution.

I prefer the places that have the free vacuum option but they all use brushes that could cause the lenses to get scratched. Monsoon Carwash is located off Lewisville-Clemmons road. It doesn't have a large entry so keep your eyes open or you might miss the driveway. The day I was there, it was clean and both stalls were working. You drive around to the back to enter the wash, pulling up to one of the entrances to select the option you want and pay. This time we paid for the $9 wash which was the least expensive option that included a drying option. The wash was good and I felt it got my car pretty clean. The dryer wasn't as good as other places like this because it is mounted in the machinery that also washes your car. The problem with that is that during the wash cycle the machinery gets pretty wet, then as it's trying to blow the water off your car it's still dripping water on it thus getting it wet again. I prefer the type of fans that are mounted at the exit of the wash. I came prepared with my own towels so I drove around to the rear to park near the vacuum station. I do wish there were more spaces in the back to park to dry your car. There are a couple in the front near the exit but there are no trash cans there and there is overspray from cars in the wash that mist on my clean car. Overall this is a good touch less option for getting your car washed but you will pay a couple dollars more for your wash if you want to utilize the dryer option.

A drive thru, self-service car wash can set you back $15-18 at some places.
