Fantastic stop on our way to Salt Lake City. Very clean room, friendly staff at check in and at delicious breakfast. We were temped by the clean heated pool but didn't have time. Maybe on the next trip. Thank you .

Clarion Suites in St. George what's a nice place to stay at for what we paid. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. There were a lot of options for the complementary breakfast. Such as a waffle machine, oatmeal, sausage, eggs, and cinnamon rolls. Lots of people have complained about the noise. The hotel was very full when we were there and we had zero issues with the noise. It's close to the freeway, so it was easy to head out on our adventures quickly.

The rooms are spacious with a love sofa and larger fridge to hold plenty of food and microwave. The bathroom is also really big with massive counter space and the basic amenities. The only downfall staying here is the noise from the freeway, when I stay I have to wear earplugs otherwise you can hear the cars all day and night. When the tv is on it filters the noise a bit. Really wish there was better sound proofing in the rooms. You can walk right over to black bear diner if you choose not to eat the continental breakfast which is really convenient.

Blood stained pillow.

It's not bad, but it's definitely not the best. The hotel is a just above average. First night of getting here, my wife and I were actually liking the room and service. That was until I found one of our pillow sheets that was covered in makeup. Called down to the front desk and got an immediate response however to fixing it. The girl seemed liked she was alone for the night, but she was very nice and very professional about it. She even brought us a new pillow. Second day was pleasant. We came back to a clean room. Third day was again very nice, came back to a clean room, but one of our pillow sheets had a blood spot on it. Fourth and final day we went to breakfast and a child spilt hot coco all over a table. Of course with this new generation that takes no responsibility nor seem to care about etiquette and manners, the child got up and walked away from the mess without trying to clean it up themselves, or notifying an employee. Though there would have to be an employee around to notify. That spill sat there for a good 15 minutes, before a woman walked out to clean the mess with a mean look on her face, while yelling out, "Oh my God!" When she saw the mess. If you're looking for a place that is fairly well priced and cheap, considering our current day and time with how expensive everything is, I would recommend this place. You will have to understand though that housekeeping is somewhat good, however, their attention to detail is lacking. And the food services for breakfast look like they're all pissed off at something. Now I get when a child spills something and it's a big mess that will make anybody mad, however, even in those situations you do have to have a little bit of professionalism and not yell out. Oh my God! Almost making a scene about it. I did not take a picture of the makeup stain on the pillow, though I did get the blood stained one.

This was our room.

The bed was comfortable but the room was absolutely filthy. Hair and dental floss on the bathroom floor. Carpet that was old and looked as if it hadn't been vacuumed in years.

Good value motel! Exterior corridors to get to room. Room was spacious and clean. Check in was easy. Free breakfast had more variety than I usually expect. Pool seemed clean and towels were plentiful. Location seems to be central to most places we wanted to go.

So...I decided to go with my old faithful La Quinta...and let me tell you...this place is good! Lots of spaces in the lobby to hang out. It has a pool and a well stocked little snack store. The staff is nice. They have a breakfast and you know it looked typical. Breakfast ends at 10 but it was nearly check out time (11am) and the food was still out at around 10:30. I asked if I was able to eat since it was still set up and the staff was cleaning up. Everything looked so fresh. I have to say this was the BEST breakfast I've ever had at a hotel. I mean, if I had gone to a breakfast restaurant that was sit down and I was served this plate. I would've happily paid for it. The potatoes were nice and spicy but not hot, the eggs were seasoned. The muffin wasn't dried out at all. There was also sausage bacon, a waffle station, bagels, biscuits, bread to toast, selection of juices and coffees. There was cereal. It was just really good. My room was clean and smelled good. I was having a really bad vacation my car broke down in the middle of nowhere. Anyway my situation requires me to stay another night overnight in St. George next week so I will absolutely be staying here...it was the breakfast that really sealed the deal. I was going to give this a five anyway even without the breakfast included, but that put it over the top. When I got to the front desk, the lady who was working, asked me if I had any special requests and I said yes I would like a room that doesn't have anyone next-door to it and close to an elevator and she was so accommodating and she found me the perfect room. I was checked in around 9pm.

It offers…read morefree parking, the location is easy to find right off the freeway, and it worked well for us since we were just passing through the area. The biggest issue we had was with check-in. We arrived really late at night, around 2:30-3:00 AM, and ended up standing outside the hotel entrance for about 10-15 minutes because nobody was at the front desk. We were calling the front desk number and nobody answered. Luckily, there happened to be another guest sitting in the lobby -- honestly a blessing at that hour -- and he let us inside so we weren't stuck outside in the cold. Even after getting inside, we still waited another 10 minutes or so before someone from the front desk finally showed up. We called the front desk number again while inside and still got no answer. Overall, it took close to 20-25 minutes just to see an attendant and get checked into the room. I stay at a lot of IHG hotels and have some level of membership with them, and at most locations it's pretty common to at least be greeted warmly or offered something simple like points or water bottles. Unfortunately, when the attendant finally showed up after the long wait, it honestly looked like she didn't care at all. I even asked if they had any water bottles available and she simply said no. She just didn't seem welcoming or interested in being there, which was disappointing considering a hotel front desk is a customer service role. Once we finally got into the room though, everything was fine and pretty standard with no other issues during the stay.

I was greeted by some of the nicest people I have ever met. They could tell we were tired from the road and treated us with real kindness. Our room was ready, and they handed us water, snacks, and warm fresh cookies. What kind of silliness was this. Awesome!!!! The room was well equipped with a fridge, microwave, and a bright, clean bathroom. You can tell they recently renovated because everything looked fresh and updated. I went back downstairs to ask about the chargers on the side of the building and how much they cost. They told me it was complimentary. No cost at all. I plugged in at 40 percent and woke up to a full charge at 100 percent. That alone made my morning. Breakfast the next day was another pleasant surprise. The ladies running the breakfast area were so nice, even when my daughter got a little too excited with the sprinkles for her waffle. They even had a sign saying they could adjust food for dietary needs. The whole setup was clean and welcoming. They also have a great little snack shop, and again the front desk staff stood out. I cannot stress this enough. These were some of the nicest people I have ever met at a hotel. Even though it was just an overnight stay, I really enjoyed it. This place turned a simple stop into a memorable part of our trip.

The property looks very nice from the outside, with plenty of free parking. Very quiet. Ashley checked us in, and she was very nice. She even gave us information on local restaurants. We asked for an upper floor, and she put us on the 4th of 5 and we were happy. The room was clean and spacious, with two queen beds, a microwave, mini fridge, and hair dryer. There were plenty of towels. The TV and AC worked well. There was a walk-in shower with sliding glass doors. The sink counter space was plentiful. What I didn't like: low water pressure in the shower, a bathroom fan that did not work, uncomfortable beds, electrical outlets that allowed the plug to slide out, making it difficult to charge devices, and worst of all, water that had a faint smell of raw sewage. The complimentary breakfast was your standard fare, with the scrambled eggs being a little watery and the sausage patties lacking any browning and rubbery. The OJ and coffee were good. My wife mentioned the water smell and the bathroom fan not working. Though nice, the female clerk that checked us out didn't seem too bad concerned, which was a bit disappointing. The room and hotel were overall very nice, and the rate for this trip was a great value. However, the water smell might keep us from returning. My wife, especially, was not comfortable showering and brushing her teeth for fear of contamination.

We love the simplicity of the entire Tru brand. Let's discuss shall we? Check in-Simple. Download the app, check in online and receive a digital key sent to your phone to access your room. Literally zero human interaction Room-Small but efficiently designed, always clean with a few toiletries provided. Bed & pillows are very comfortable and offer a great nights sleep. Toiletries-Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand wash, body lotion all in large bottles attached to the walls. I actually appreciate and prefer this model vs the mini bottles. Most people bring their own products, myself included. Also, most people take extra home with intentions of using them and guess what, they collect in a random drawer in the guest bath for years until they move or die then someone throws dozens of wasted plastic and expired products in the trash. Ty hotels for saving is all the headache! Also, the brand Tru offers smells so good! Gym-24/7 access which we love. It's on the smaller aide but offers an impressive amount of equipment. 2 treadmills, an elliptical, 1 weight bench, weights 5-40 lbs, stability straps which I loved, a Bosu, 3 stability balls, several matts and a box for jumping. Think I saw a few Kettles too. Free Breakfast-Always impressed with what's offered for free at the free breakfast here. Scrambled eggs and some type of breakfast protein is always offered. Oatmeal with tons of fixings, yogurt, cereals, several juices, fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs and the most popular item...the mini pancakes! There are 2 pancake machines you simply wave your hand in front of and makes you a little hot fresh pancake! There were multiple toppings including sugar free syrup. Refreshments-24/7 regular & decaf coffee and hot water for tea. 2 flavors to choose for cream, a few types of sweeteners. It's really great coffee too! In the morning there ice water & citrus infused water. Common Areas-For as small as the lobby os it has several seating areas to sit and work on your lap top, eat, or play games with the family. Tru does a great job at providing family entertainment too with big screens to watch tv on, a pool table and lots of games to play too! We don't spend mich time at the hotel outside of sleeping, a workout and a quick bite before hitting the road but we're always hapoy with our stays. We will be back!
