Renovated hotel per ads. Disappointed that the base of the bed was not secure and the entire bed moved if you leaned on it. Not good in the dark when getting up. Bathroom was very small with a tiny toilet - unexpected for a remodeled hotel. Multiple parking lots and wings to the hotel which were confusing when trying to locate our vehicle and schlepping luggage. Coffee and a couple bananas were our breakfast. Recommend they fasten the base of the bed. Dangerous. Good water pressure in a clean shower. Ample plugs for medical equipment and chargers. read more

Just off the River Rd. Exit in St. George. It is presently undergoing renovations. I had a newly renovated King room on the fourth floor. Very nice. Huge closet, brand new walk in shower. King bed was very comfortable. Mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Free breakfast each morning. Location is ideal. You are literally surrounded by a ton of restaurants and shops. About a mile from Harmons Grocery store. I have stayed here several times and will stay here again. read more

I've been staying at Hampton Inns for over 30 years and have seen the best and some not so great facilities. I've found the very best of all that I've stayed at. It's in St George, Utah. Incredibly wonderful staff and one of the most comfortable beds I've ever experienced. While checking out I asked the manager, David C., what brand the mattress was. He didn't know offhand, but he said he would find out and shoot me an email. Sure enough and true to his word, about an hour later I received the email with the information. Definitely above and beyond. This facility is super clean and the breakfast was great. As I said, this is the best Hampton Inn I've ever stayed at. read more

Solid hotel for the price. We were scheduled to be in St George during a busy weekend which meant higher rates but looking at all of the available options the Hampton Inn had the best deal without significant compromise. We also received an additional discount for our stay because we were going to Tuachan the same day we were scheduled to check in. The hotel itself is nothing fancy but it looked and smelled clean which is what I care more about. The pools weren't large but they had too so the size of one is made up by the second. And the breakfast was decent, not a huge variety of options but the things I tried all tasted good to me. Tina at the front desk is awesome and so are some do the custodial staff. The only complaint was the disrespectful people who just couldn't seem to keep quiet. Kids running up and down the halls and the parents did nothing to stop it. It's centrally located in St. George, but it's run down. One of two elevators was out of order. The common areas are worn looking. The value was not good; paid an average of $222 per night for a Wednesday and Thursday. I've stayed in a lot of Hampton Inns across the US. This was the worst of all of them. read more

Anti-Semitic front desk manager Cora page. dog barking across hall for hours and despite a number of calls to front desk by a number of independent guests, Cora page not willing to do anything about our stay costs. The policy is the owner stays in room with guest at all times. The dog owner did not the one front desk lady said. It was apparently a service dog but the owners left the room for hours without their "service" dog. desk people knew my religion as we spoke about it and sadly I highly suspect it's anti-semitism. My elderly father sharing room with me heard the dog all night despite having both hearing aids out. Room had hairs in bathroom sink. No restaurant In hotel and taco shop is only walking distance restaurant. we were travelling by car from California to Canada for family emergency and got in late and left early 7am and our few hours at hotel were a complete disaster and front desk manager said her hands were tied and wouldnt do anything to help us financially or otherwise. read more

AWFUL. They put me in a room on the first floor, room #113 to be exact that was literally the noisiest room and most unpleasant experiences I've ever experienced staying in a hotel. The room ended up being right across from their staff room where seemingly all of their services are performed, including laundry, housekeeping, likely cooking, etc; they also routinely let the door close hard and slammed said door seemingly 50 times during my stay. I heard EVERY single noise coming out of that room, I couldn't sleep hardly at all due to the noises coming from that room. If the Hotel noises weren't enough, the room ended up being close to the lobby and I heard every single noise coming from other people staying at the hotel here either in the vicinity or walking down the hallway; I could tell you other people's conversations, it was awful. I barely slept a couple hours due to the noise. I complained about it at 10:30 at night, got a few hours sleep during the middle of the night after staff went home and every sound was asleep. In the morning hours the noises all started again. I had enough and contacted the manager on property. He did nothing about it and merely offered me a free 2-hr extension to 1 PM. Like I want to stay in this dump any second longer than I have to. Then he tells me since I went through a third party that there was nothing he could do in terms of a comp. I'll never stay at another Hampton Inn for as long as I'm alive, anywhere in the Country, period. If I could I would give them a ZERO rating. read more

Came into town to see Anastasia at tuachan theater and this hotel was a partner of them so I got discount tickets. The hotel doesn't have great ventilation in the rooms so the hall definitely has a smell of everyone's food, sweat and other not so great stuff. Plus the rooms definitely need some touch ups. Tile was loose in the bathroom, beds are old and rough. The breakfast was okay. Overall I don't think I will stay again. read more

I haven't stayed in a hotel for a couple years, so I thought my experience here was simply 'fine, I guess'. My rooms were ready when i arrived, they were the rooms I'd reserved, they were clean. Breakfast was a standard hotel breakfast buffet, clean and well stocked but not mind blowing. But apparently hotels have gone to hell. In my several subsequent nights at other stops on my road trip, some at other Hamptons Inn and some with other chains, I have yet to experience this basic standard of Getting What I Paid For. In fact, every single night has involved messing up my reservation in some way or filth in the room, and usually both. So five stars to you, Hampton Inn of St George. We stayed at this hotel and had a good experience for the most part. The first room we were in had an air conditioner that wasn't working. They moved us to another room and it was great. Then the next stay, just 5 days later, was also good with one exception. My husband forgot his watch charger. We know it was absolutely left in the room because he used it there and then we drove straight home. We called to let them know so we could pay to have it mailed to us. They went and looked and said it wasn't there. That means someone stole it. It was 100% left there and should have still been there. Yes, my husband should have packed it, but it's extremely disappointing that it was stolen and so now we will be choosing to not stay there anymore. There are too many other options to choose from than to stay at a hotel with dishonest employees. read more

I have stayed at many across the US and this is Worst Hampton Inn I have ever been in! The bed was obviously old and very uncomfortable. We were given the worst room possible. It was on the first floor and incredibly noisy throughout our stay. The highway and street noise never let up. I suspect they gave us a handicapped room because it looked like it was made for wheelchair access. It was so bad that we got up at 4:00 in the morning, skipped breakfast and left this deplorable hotel. Never again! Hilton, shame on you! read more

We stayed here for one night on our way to Bryce Canyon and the parking was easy,it's located right off the freeway and our room was clean. There was no receptionist when we arrived, which is okay as we had contactless check in. Our room was basic,had a mini fridge and located on the first floor. Unfortunately, it was close to the lobby and we could hear everything all night long. The lobby had coffee,tea and hot cocoa but we didn't have any. I would recommend a room on another floor or farther away from the lobby/ front desk if your looking to get any rest. Other than that, it's a super convenient place to stay if your making your way to the National Parks or to Salt Lake. Enjoy! read more

We have been staying at this Hampton Inn for the last 10 years every Oct when we come to St. George for The Huntsman World Senior Games. It has been a good place to stay in past years but it is in GREAT NEED OF UPDATE & REPAIR. There was only one elevator working. There is a large piece of plastic covering the ceiling on the way to the elevator where it looks like a large leak occurred. And MOST BOTHERSOME...NO HOT WATER on our day of check out due to a burst pipe! The rooms are tired looking. The breakfast has been much smaller over the last couple of years. There used to be hard boiled eggs, more variety of hot breakfast items and more fruit. Our tub filled up when we took a shower but we told the front desk in rhe morning and they had it fixed that afternoon. We may have to look for a new hotel to stay in after this last visit. It just wasn't up to par. The employees are not visible when we walk through the lobby. You have to wait for someone to come out of the back to assist you if you need something. I think a hotel should have a desk clerk welcoming guests as they come and go to show some customer service. This Hampton Inn has definitely lost its charm and good service. read more

Very friendly staff. Great coffee. Convenient location. Clean. The room has a dreadful view, though. And the the guests above can be heard thumping around. This kind of noise issue is unusual for a Hampton Inn. I'm sure other rooms are much less claustrophobic, so be sure to request one. Also, the hotel ensures safe COVID practice and signage requiring face masks of all guests, yet this is definitely not enforced, as several guests in the lobby did not wear them, including those checking in. One even got on the elevator with me. While the staff donned masks, I did not feel very safe in the common areas due to lack of regulation. Perhaps out of the workers' hands, but it isn't difficult to ask guests to wear masks to ensure the safety of everyone. read more

We stayed at the Hampton Inn on our way home from a long vacation. The staff was so friendly, which was welcoming after a very long drive. Our room was very clean and comfortable. There is plenty of parking and you are close to some eateries or the downtown area with more restaurants. Breakfast was different and so nice, tortillas with scrambled eggs and ham with cheese to make your own breakfast burrito or taco. My only complaint and this isn't the hotels fault is that our window faced out to the back of a restaurant next door. At about 2 am employees were standing out back, talking and had 2 dogs that never stopped barking which woke us up. Then again at about 5:30 am, the trash truck pulled behind the restaurant to dump the dumpster, which woke us again. Guess it was time to get up and hit the road. Other than the outside noise, the hotel was a great stop for the night. read more

I like staying at Hampton Inn. It's affordable, rooms are normally very clean with comfortable beds and they serve free hot breakfast including make your own waffles. This place is no different. Stayed for 2nights in a 2queen room over the Labor Day weekend. Did everything online. It was very convenient that I was able to check-in online too and choose our own room. Room 440 was a perfect choice. It was on a corner, very quiet with a good view. Very comfortable for 2adults and 1 child. Breakfast was ok. Nothing special but the waffles is something my little one always looks forward to. I love that they have coffee and tea available in the lobby 24hrs. The staff are always nice and willing to help too. The only thing I don't like about our room was the noisy a/c. The hotel has 2 pools. Indoor and outdoor. It's close to a lot of restaurants and the outlets but it's on a very busy road. Village Inn which claims to serve the best pies is next to the hotel.. Chick-Fil-A is across the street,, so are Cafe Rio and other restaurants. Good place to stay if you're ever in St. George. read more

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, but that's all that was o.k about this place. I requested a roll-in shower but it had a 3" lip so I couldn't use it. I asked for recommendations of the nearby, "walkable" distance restaurants, and was handed a printed list of the expensive restaurants in St. George, all of which required driving. The place advertises as "pet friendly" but charges an undisclosed, non-refundable fee of $75 per animal. read more

Reason for my travel: I live in Las Vegas and every other week I try to drive up to a small town to relax and unwind since Vegas can be very hectic at times and I enjoy some peace every once in a while. I have always meant to come to St. George so this was my first time. PROS: The location of the hotel is probably the best thing about it. You're walking distance from pretty much 30+ restaurants so you never have to worry about food /drinks/groceries here. Fast internet service. (Came in very handy since for some reason even my cellphone's 4G was very slow ) Indoor and Outdoor pool and jacuzzi. When the sun was unbearable you could stay indoors and later in the day you could stay outside. Very decent! CONS: Diamond members have 0 perks here. (Well besides a complimentary bottle of water? Yay!) For some reason when I went, it was extremely crowded, all I could get was a handicap room on the first floor, by the door. It did get a little noisy at times from people opening and closing the door and talking, laughing, etc... The ice machine on the first floor was broken, so I had to go up to the second floor to get ice. Staff was grumpy and standoffish for whatever reason, maybe they were having a rough week, we've all been there. I didn't get to try the breakfast since I wake up very late, but by 11am the coffee was cold, so looks like they only make coffee in the early morning and let it sit there all day. Good thing there is a place right outside the building that sells coffee. The coffee in the room is terrible. Worth mentioning: When I went there were tons of families, so I didn't get to relax by the pool and read a book like I assumed i'd be able to. There were kids running, splashing into the water and screaming during my entire stay. This isn't the hotel's fault, obviously but just keep in mind it seems like this place attracts families and unless you're coming with your family, I wouldn't recommend it for Solo or Couples stays. I will probably try out a different hotel next time I come to St. George. This isn't a bad hotel by any means, but there is nothing really remarkable that would make one come back. read more

Having been reared in Pasadena, Mrs. Picante and I try to get out of town for the annual Rose Parade... too many people, too many nights spent in the company of a million and a half out-of-towners, the desire to give our kids rich vacation experiences in Nature/away from screen time and technology, and the slight but palpable threat that comes with arguably the only reliable, pre-scheduled slow 'n' low flyover on earth of a stealth bomber just a couple thousand feet above thousands of people encourages us to ring in the New Year elsewhere. For the second year in a row, we have celebrated the turning of the calendar in southern Utah-- Zion, Bryce, and myriad state parks and natural wonders are a welcome respite to urban camping on Colorado Blvd. Because winters can be hard to camp with little ones, we stayed at this Hampton Inn, and in short, were very pleased with the hotel and the accommodations and accoutrements provided during our stay. The double queen room was clean, fresh-smelling, and appointed with a flat screen TV, mini-fridge, microwave, and work-desk area. The "queen" beds seemed a little small (especially after sleeping in a Cal-King at home... and adding a stowaway kid or two in the wee hours of the morn), but they were comfortable and cozy. All-day coffee and a basket of apples/bananas in the lobby, a 24 hour workout room, laundry, and--my kids' perpetual favorite--an indoor pool/hot-tub-- make this a great place to stay. Reasonably priced with AAA, freeway-convenient, and close to various eateries and shopping opportunities add to the appeal. Unfortunately, we also discovered that the hotel is just 5 minutes from an Emergency room/hospital-- the front desk/concierge did a great job of getting us there when my youngest son fell and injured himself... but that's a story for another review (Dixie Mountain Regional Medical...) Indoor pools are notorious for over-chlorinating their pools, but this place seemed to tone it down a bit-- a noticeable difference from last year's stay at a different hotel in St. George. Free parking, the Village Inn restaurant in the parking lot, and free breakfast (I've had worse and better, but this one ain't bad!) all have contributed to our future plans to stay here again. Aside: Only a six hour drive from home, St. George is a great base of operations for winter activities in Zion. If you've only visited the park during summer months, I encourage you to check the place out in the "off season"... definitely a rewarding albeit different experience. read more

Worst beds ever unless you enjoy sleeping on a rock. Tossed and turned all night trying to get comfortable but it was useless. The mattresses are the worst ones I've ever slept on! Everything else was fine, room was clean, my kids enjoyed the pool and the atmosphere was good. Unfortunately the rock hard beds make this a place I'll never return to. Cora at the front desk was awesome! She greeted us upon arriving, and also checked us out when we were heading out. She was very kind, enthusiastic, and made us feel very welcomed- especially since we were traveling from out of state. Our room was good for a nights rest. It was decent in size, everything seemed pretty clean until I noticed what looked like candies all over the floor. It's as if they completely forgot to vacuum the room, which made me question how thorough the cleaning process goes. Other than that everything else was fine. We enjoyed the outdoor patio at night with the bonfire set up, as well as the jacuzzi. Breakfast was good, and they had a lot of options. From breakfast pastries, make your own waffles, cereal, oatmeal, breakfast meats and lots of fruit and yogurt. Great coffee selection as well. read more

This hotel is starting to show its age. 10 years ago it was "the place" to stay but traffic and years is going a bit hard on the old girl. Prices are still at a premium for the market so the value isn't quite what it once was. The AC in my room (212) sounded like a jet engine and had a humidifier effect. While my lungs appreciated the break from the dry air, my clothes picked up a bit of must after a few days here. The thermostat didn't have a working display so there was a bit of guessing to set the temperature. The tub / shower was a bit quirky as well. It leaked and temperature adjustment was cold or scalding. There was an odd lump in the floor of the tub which made it awkward to stand and shower; I always felt like I was going to slip and fall. Other amenities here are good. Warm cookies if you get here early enough, a decent pool, and a nice lobby with free breakfast. read more

As a Hilton Honors member... I try to stay at Hilton properties and lately I've been staying at Hampton Inns because of their value (price + quality). This Hampton Inn is nice and easy to find right off of I-15. (Near the Zion Outlet strip mall.) The walls are a little thin and when you have kids running around the halls and knocking on doors... it get a little noisy. Thankfully, they settled down around 10pm. This is not The Four Seasons... so don't expect fancy surroundings or amenities. Everything is nice and well kept.... the bed was comfortable and the towels were soft. And Most Importantly.... the Water was Hot... and the Water Pressure was Great! This one has a small fitness room and a laundry area on the 1st floor. (They did not have a small convenience store like some others do.) The breakfast in the morning (which is included with your stay) is decent... it's no Bear Paw Cafe... but it is good. Make your own waffles... so you know they're fresh. Yogurts, cereals, pastries, toast, bagels, muffins, fruit, hard boiled eggs and a hot offering... today it was country potatoes, and an egg and cheese muffin thing... it was mostly cheese and greasy so I stayed away from it. All day... they serve coffee and have hot water for hot tea... really nice at nice to end the day with a nice hot cup of chamomile. read more

If I could give negative stars, I would. Avoid, the Staybride Suites was much better and are not hostile towards dogs #PuppyOppressors #DogOppressors #HiltonFail. The front desk was rude and claimed we were not allowed to leave our dog in our room when we went swimming for less than an hour at the hotel pool. They pointed to rule 7 of the pet policy that states "In order for our staff to provide housekeeping services while your pet is in the room, you will need to be present". However, we did not want or request housekeeping and they highlighted "you will need to be present" as their reasoning for requiring us to always be in the room with our dogs #EnglishFail. When we asked to talk to the GM, we were given a business card that had the hotel phone number and that she would be in early the next morning. They then proceeded tell us they could do whatever they wanted and the GM would never stop them. When we called Hilton complain line, we were told they could only escalate the issue to the front desk #InfiniteLoopFailure. In the morning, the GM was conveniently not there, and the signed pet policy where they highlighted "you will need to be present" mysteriously disappeared #CoverUp #HamptonInnFail. Now we are waiting 3 business days to hear back from the property manager. We have stayed at numerous Hilton properties and I've never experienced such rude, unprofessional staff. read more
