We are now going into our third year at K2 Studios, and my only regret is not coming sooner. My…read moredaughter started dancing at two, but we didn't really get into competitive dance until she was about six or seven. Our second year competing was with K2, and the growth we've seen since then has been phenomenal. I have two girls who both compete and train here, and the training they receive is truly exceptional. The studio has clear rules that create a safe, structured environment, and as a parent, I appreciate the direction and consistency. They also re-evaluate and assess students regularly to ensure they're placed in the right classes, which shows how much they care about proper development. The technique taught at K2 is simply outstanding--far beyond what I've seen elsewhere. On top of that, they offer a wide variety of classes and training options, which is a huge bonus. Overall, I cannot say enough about the quality of instruction, the supportive environment, and the incredible growth my daughters have experienced here.

I am not a mind reader and you're a big LIAR DONNA you were paid! CHECK OUT THE SCREEN SHOTS! Now what excuse can you come up with now?? So pathetic! Like my "complaint" said! It's funny i received the fastest reply from this company when it's a review posted! Good night no accountability DONNA! Talk about the poor customer service & communication. You skipped over that part. Donna save it, I scrolled down and seen some other people complaining about how poor the customer service is. You rambling on about everything but the POOR customer service. And you right I have lots of other bad reviews I leave because you and other companies suck at running a business! And you're so stuck on who gave a refund! The point that's going over your head is that I had to even get one! Rather the school gave it or you! The point is I wanted a refund behind poor customer service and poor communication! So save your public service announcement on how many bad reviews I gave and worry about running good business and not losing potential money. So goofy! I SIGNED UP WITH ANOTHER COMPANY AND YOU KNOW WHAT they DID! Sent a email letting ppl know it was spring break!! And even email me to let me know they received my information and when they return they will call me! They communicated! Something you have no common sense to do! So again! GOOD NIGHT DONNA!

Our daughter has been dancing at CDA for the first full season, and we couldn't be more pleased…read more The instructors sincerely care about their students and encourage them to perform to their full potential. They motivate their dancers to push the boundaries, both mentally and physically, in order to improve all of their dancing abilities. CDA prioritizes academic instruction, which has helped our daughter flourish in both classroom and studio settings. Ms. Natalie, the company director, has been an excellent mentor and our daughter highly values her leadership. While they work hard on their competition techniques, she reminds them to enjoy the experience and always fun. Not only do the girls support each other, they've become like family and it makes the wins all that much sweeter. We are so proud for all they have accomplished in the first year. We are confident that our daughter will cherish the memories she is making while dancing at CDA. If you're looking for a wholesome environment for your child to grow as a dancer, then I highly recommend you give CDA a try.

My first experience in ballroom was in a try-it-out-for-free class at UC Davis taught by Ikhlas…read more One of the most outstanding memories of my first impression of him was when he was teaching the leaders (mostly boys) how to dip their followers (all girls). I don't remember exactly what dip he taught or how he taught the technic, but what I do remember is him saying, "If you're going to fall, what you do is go straight down to your knees, you pull her into your arms, and protect her. You do not drop her." Needless to say, I joined the class, and eventually joined the dance team at the studio he taught at at the time. Ikhlas is elegant on the dance floor and off. He has a way of making you feel special, like a specific individual, rather than "just another student," and he has a genuinely good personality. If you're wondering about his dance skills, all I can say is that you won't be disappointed. He can be masculine, more masculine than any other male teacher I've come across. He can also be elegant in a more delicate, feminine way, so much that it can trump almost all of the female dance teachers I've come across, too. Ikhlas is a great dancer, he teaches dance in a way that's easy to understand and learn, and he's a great person altogether. To bring it all together, Ikhlas is an amazing teacher.

I told her she was going to dance class and cried all the way to dance class, getting out the car, and checking in. But when she met Ms. Whitney her whole attitude changed. Ms. Whitney is so patient and great with kids. My daughter Summer just came out of her shell and had a great time. She kept giving me a thumbs up that she liked it. All she talks about now is when is the next dance class! Everyone at DAB has excellent customer service and is very patient and personable. The young lady up front answered all my questions and another dance teacher came over and introduced herself in between her classes. To schedule a class I spoke with Chris on the phone prior to and his customer service is also top notch! The prices are great they even have unlimited monthly subscriptions where your child can take as many classes as they want for a set price. I highly recommend this DAB dance studio it is very family friendly and just the right size for young dancers. I like the way the child is in the room with the teacher and the other students but the parents are outside looking through he glass and unobtrusive. My daughter had such a great time with Ms. Whitney. I am so pleased with the previous Yelp reviews and found them very helpful because that is what made my decision to try out this dance studio!

She makes you sweat your booty as much as Eddie does. She personally likes salsa more, so expect this from her. Also, I like her eyelashes (random, I know). 4/5 stars. David: Have you ever seen that episode on Dancing With The Stars with Lil Kim and what Len said about her booty? BIONIC BOOTY. I'm telling ya, I was getting all out of breath, hot, and bothered by David's dance routines. He literally shakes his bionic booty like CUH-RAY-ZAY. His dance routines are REALLY fast and upbeat. You'll def leave a hot mess, all drenched with sweat. Plus, he has a background in ballroom. He also loves interacting with the audience, pumping you up. 5/5 stars Lizbeth: I personally like upbeat, fast dance routines. I want to burn and drench with sweat after a good workout. Lizbeth, is more on the slow side, well, TOO slow for me. You will definitely still sweat, but I want more. If you are a novice, she's probably more suited for you then. 2/5 stars. Helen: She's co-owners with Eddie and comes off as a sweet lady. I tried out the Zumba Toning with her. In this class, you use these bead weights, that probably weigh 2 lbs each? Throughout the class you dance and every now and then use the weights. I only tried a snippet of Zumba Toning, so I'm not quite sure how effective it is yet. As far as music and coordination, at times she was off beat with the music. When the class ended, she mentioned that she wasn't use to the music or something of the sort? But I guess this is a kink since she did just open the studio and this was her first time teaching there. 3/5 stars. Overall, if you like fast, upbeat dance routines and want to sweat all that fat off your body, try out a class with Eddie, Lucy, or David.
