After paying for and attending an event with Kim I believe she has a gift, she is also a hypocrite. She spent 20-30 minutes speaking of two missing children taking away from those who paid for this event in hopes of connecting with their loved ones. In this time she name dropped who she believes is guilty and provided enough information about this person to have someone to find his location if they pleased. I can appreciate her gift and believe she truly feels this person is guilty. however hearing her state things like "I am not scared to say their name but I cannot post it online or in writing" is quite appalling given proper authorities have been investigating this case for over a year. For someone who states things like the universe is working for you, be kind, that love is an action and so on for her to potentially endanger another humans life based off a hunch, from a gift that often has discrepancies or misinterpretations. Based off of the morals she presented at this event and on her social media page I do not recommend Kim Dennis. Perhaps this man is guilty; as she stated at the event and publicly on her social media page- she has contacted proper authorities- This should be enough but it seems likes she is using her "gift" to gain attention for herself while potentially putting another persons well-being at risk. Maybe she is correct-With her contacting authorities this would be enough-but she is making a spectacle of this and seemingly wanting to gain career advances through this horrific event. What if she is wrong? She has now slandered an innocent persons name- for what? personal gain? She is gifted, yes. but her moral compass is not in alignment in my opinion. read more

Waited an hour and a half past our given appointment time that was booked 3 months in advance only to find out she forgot to schedule us and reluctantly gave us 15 minutes before we were dismissed. Feeling hugely disappointed and ripped off. Don't waste your time. read more

I made the mistake of not checking reviews here first. Gave her $200 Jan 2026. Needed change meeting. Wasn't responding to me however she made over 50 social media posts rather than message me back. I requested my funds returned. Once again she delayed and was on social media posting again rather than sending me my money. I did get my money back as I would not accept her keeping my hard earned money and I think she knew it. It would have been a disaster meeting anyways as I am confident my passed family members would not have come through with the energy she portrays. On February 4th/24, I went to Ms. Dennis' website and booked/paid for a private reading with her, based on a recommendation from a lovely hypnotherapist woman I know. The actual reading with Ms. Dennis didn't take place until March 24th, because she was ill and had to cancel, and then I was ill and had to cancel. When it did take place, she talked and talked and talked my ears off for 45 minutes NON-STOP - predominantly about a paternal Aunt I hadn't spoken to in 3 decades who died in 2021. Not the reason for my reading; nor did I really want to discuss that. At two different points in the conversation, she said "you can ask me anything" and then proceeded to keep on talking. I couldn't get a word in AT ALL. Finally, I interrupted her rambling and said "I have a few questions now." When I asked the first question - which was about my parents - she became rude and aggressive, brushing my question aside by saying "I already told you they are fine." The actual question I asked was not answered. The next question I asked was related to a partner I'd had during the mid-1980s. She didn't answer that question either - brushing it aside and continuing to ramble on and on. For the remainder of the reading, she was just talking out of her a** and repeating the same things she'd already said about my Aunt. Please DO NOT waste your money on her services. I originally booked with Kim for a January 14 reading. On January 13 I got a text to reschedule due to her mom being injured. I understand, as this happens. We rebooked for March 14th, today. This morning I get a text asking to push it again for a couple of weeks. I lost my son to suicide, so was looking forward to this reading. It is also my grandfather's Birthday today, so I was excited to see if he came through. Not once did I get an apology. I'll be getting a refund and going to see someone else. It's hard when you get excited for a reading, only to have it squashed. I can and would not recommend Kim. Her professionalism towards me and my situation were poor at best. Wish I had come across these before booking with her. She is mean and will not tell u if she needs to change dates and makes u prepay so then she just offers for u to go into another session. As if anyone would want to after dealing with her attitude. She paid me back for the uber I took to see her but I still lost the initial $25 I paid for a group session as she was not there. This seems to be a pattern with her so I would say she is a scam and fraudulent. This is how she gets money from innocent people. Go to legit ppl like t.h. this lady is not it. I have to say, I was really excited to talk to Kim. I waited for my appt for about 3 weeks, and it was $200.00. I've talked to many amazing psychics in my time, and $200 is a rate that someone charges for being highly sought after for their skills, so I was expecting something great from her! I was nothing short of completely disappointed with my reading. It felt like she was just shooting in the dark. Hit a few points, but nothing great at all - AND then at the 30 min mark, that was it! 30 mins for $200. This is something she should charge $50 for with her limited expertise. So upsetting and discouraging. :( I do not recommend her for anyone who is looking for a really good reading. read more

OMG. I was at the women's show and got an off vibe from her. When she would ask people questions, and she was wrong, she would instantly cut them off so no one could hear them say 'no that's not my situation'. She was very vague. She started to point at me and try to read my life from a lost loved one, and I can tell you she was was VERY VERY far off from whatever she was trying to get at. Now I understand being on a stage in front of people who are hoping you choose them can be stressful, but this didn't stress her out. She was so inattentive, rushed, had a very rude vibe, didn't care and tried to make you believe in what she was saying to you, even though she was no where near your situation. Now I never post reviews online and this is how you know it's bad. We were cancelled a few times and ended up waiting but finally did get our reading. I paid an extra 100 to have extra time. I saw her many years ago and was very pleased. However, I was very disappointed in this reading. She did not address me at all during the reading as if I wasn't in the room. What she came up with was very very vague and she came up with random comments rather than answering the question. She came up with a few names and that was it. I have not had a reading from Ms. Kim Dennis, but I still want to share my experience here with kind-hearted, trusting and yet vulnerable people. As I understand it, many vulnerable people turn to yelp.ca for help because they don't want to waste every penny they have earned! The fact of the matter was that I was trying to book a reading at a vulnerable moment in my life, and I was in good faith, but the fact that Ms. Dennis required a full payment several months in advance made me withdraw. She immediately asked me in a quick email, "Paypal or credit?" I always find it embarrassing to talk about payment explicitly, though I have always been very generous to psychics. I did get the vibrations that she was very anxious to get the full payment well in advance to the extent that she even phoned me asking about payment when I no longer emailed her. I'm not claiming that this is not good, but I want to point out that this is quite unusual in my personal experience. If anyone wants to give it a try, I'm not discouraging you. But I want to tell you that our life goes on without this reading. read more

I had a reading done about 6 years ago. I found it useful to record my session wither as you think you remember the smallest details but listening back the same night, even 6 months later you realize some things that may not have come to light at the time of the reading. I feel she is genuine and was very specific with me with names beginning letters/sounds, family members, what happened etc. nothing was pulled 'out of thin air' or to generalized and she was $200 even back then. I think it's pretty typical to pay in advance for mediums. That's always the way I've done it with others. So to me, it's not a scam if she/someone asks for money in advance as it probably helps in preventing many/last minute cancellations as well and thus she gets to people who desire a reading as soon as she can and alleviates a long waiting list and sometimes can get you in quicker. read more

And speaking of money Kim is very eager to get your $200, she'll call you back in a heartbeat to get payment but when you'd like a call back regarding your appointment don't expect a timely response. I would have preferred 0 stars, but unfortunately that was not an option. This person is the epitome of scam, self centered, self-righteous egotistical and outright rude. I booked her 2 months in advance for my cousin's bridal shower. I paid $400 for 2 sessions so she can come in and have a reading for some people (I made it clear that not everyone will have a reading and that was fine). Yes I asked her to only limit it to 10-15 minutes and she seemed ok with it because she demanded an e-transfer the very next day. In fact, as soon as I said I would book her, she wrote me 3 emails with just the word "e-transfer" so at that point I started to get a weird feeling about her, but I decided to give her a chance. I also asked her upon booking if there are any deals or discounts now or upcoming since I am booking 2 sessions and her answer was a laugh and a "you're kidding right?" She also told me she would be sending me free books in the mail and took down my address to ship them to me. This never happened.. and when I asked her about it later, she didn't seem to remember this. A very short little while later, I happened to come across her facebook page and I saw that she was advertising a deal where if you buy 2 sessions you get one for free. I contacted her asking her if I can get that deal since I had just booked and it would be good give everyone at the shower an opportunity to go and she was the rudest, self-righteous person I have ever spoken to. She basically laughed at the idea and told me I was being ridiculous and kept smirking in the phone at the fact that I had the audacity to even ask such a question. And she was actually doing me a favor by coming to my house and doing the readings when she never does this. Anyways, although annoyed I dropped this and we once again confirmed the bridal shower date, which was upcoming in 3 weeks. A FEW days prior to the shower, she calls me and outright just cancels.. she says she was thinking about it and the whole 10 minute with each person just simply won't work. I told her that it was already planned and I planned my entire party surrounding her coming.. she didn't seem to care.. I asked her if maybe we can increase the time to 15-20 minutes if that makes her feel better. She also said that i made this entire shower her problem by not giving everyone an opportunity to go - which was never actually the case and it was stated initially when i talked to her on the phone and I was fine with that. She said she would think about it when I asked her to reconsider, only to have me call her in the evening and her say "no thanks." Getting the e-transfer back was also interesting. She had a different excuse as to why she couldn't transfer that day. At first she said she was at her limit for the day and simply just couldn't do it then.. when I became seemingly annoyed, she somehow managed to do it that same day. I then realized that she is actually a liar on many different levels.. not to mention condensing and like I said many times, self righteous. She feels she has a gift and that's why she charges the ridiculous fees. I believe the main reason she cancelled was because I "insulted" her by asking her to give me the same deal I had just paid for. Clearly she needed to make an excuse to rudely cancel at the last minute, even though i tried to accommodate her wishes and revise my plans (months after it was already agreed upon) I was also dumb enough to fall for her scam, only to thankfully realize the kind of person she really is.. she only wants your money and in the easiest way possible. She will not and does not care about your plans, needs or you as a person.. Based on other reviews, it appears I'm not the only person who feels this way. Please please go someplace else... this person does not deserve your hard earned money so she can mock and laugh at you.. and scam you giving you false information. read more

The last year was really hard with the loss of a man I loved. His name was Scotty and I fell hard for the first time for him. It was the first person I ever loved. I have felt a sense if peace and closure since meeting with Kim on feb 1. I've always been a bit skepticism but this was the real deal. Kim connected to my family that passed that was really like them. My great aunt was like a grandmother and came through I realized after. And my grandfather who she brought up who died only a few years ago. But when Scotty came through I was a blubbering mess. No one could know that it was 2 years he was around in my life. Or that his name started with an S. or that I have a t shirt that "was mine for our work together" that I wear to bed when I miss him. Or that the large picture on the wall we painted together. Or that it wasn't supposed to happen his death but he just stopped breathing which was true. I felt at peace. She mentioned water and the ocean that his with me. But I realized it was the pool we went to everyday together. Swimming was our thing. And that he is always with me at the water which I still go to. Or that we had lots of crews (my cleaning crew). And that I always did paperwork at night which I did. And that he was a musician. And her words where "it wasn't supposed to happen". The exact words that I heard On the tv when I turned it on that tragic moment I found out he was gone. There are so many signs every day that move me. Him coming through was so beyond accurate and I'm very happy to of got to communicate with loved ones through Kim Dennis. I have seen Kim three times now. She is an amazing and very generous person. She has went above and beyond to help my husband and I, and expecting nothing in return. The negative reviews blow me away.. she did take a little bit to get back to me on info about my appointment (but she did!!) - people are busy, and I was understanding of that!! This woman is a scammer. Do pay attention to the other reviews here, she is actively trying to scam me now. I paid for a reading months in advance as the others mention. Due to covid and having to change address I postponed the reading for a further couple of months. When I contacted asking about a new date she strung me along , not answering me for long periods , then replying with very short unhelpful sentences that never actually confirmed a new time or date. After a few weeks of this I asked for a refund if she is unable to give the reading, she eventually got back to me saying anytime after october 14th, so I asked for a booking on the 15th. No response. I sent several other messages that she didn't respond to - until I pointed out that I can see that she has seen the messages, at which point I was asking for a refund again. I stated that I would involve paypal if she did not respond. All she said was " you do that". Since then she has refused to acknowledge any further contact from me and has still not refunded a cent. Avoid. She is clearly scamming many people in much the same way. read more
