The park is actually two sections, separated by a lake. The park is a nature park has has many picnic tables and shelters, with picnic tables under them scattered on both sides of the park. Some of the picnic tables and shelters are located along the river and provide some panoramic views. The park also features a nice nature trail that is in the wood and pretty well shaded. On one side of the park you will find a small, but newer playground area with percussion instruments, saucer swings, and a couple of slides. It is pretty basic. The other side has a much larger playground. It has a huge play structure that looks like a fort and has a rock climbing wall, slides, and bridges. There is also a pyramid net climber, saucer swings, and toddler swings. The equipment is pretty spread out and in pretty good shape. There is a smaller play structure for little ones which has tunnels, slides, and bridges. You will find rocking animals in that area as well. This side of the park also has a restroom facility. This park is certified as a wildlife habitat and you will see water fowl, geese, beavers and squirrels up close and personal to name just a few animals. Someone was fishing while I was there, but I do not know how good the fishing is, or even if it is allowed. I do not know if it is part of the park, but across the street you will find a huge and amazing baseball complex that looks like it is home to a junior college. It is nice and very well maintained. All in all, this park is decent. It is well maintained and the lake and views are awesome . I will admit that There is not much to offer outside of the trails, shelter, lake, and picnic tables. I like the park, but I was not wow'ed or overwhelmed. The playgrounds are somewhat basic and probably would not holds a kids attention too long. This park would be great for those looking for a nature park.

Just off of the parking lot you will find an outdoor workout area. There is some really nice equipment out there including dip bars, pull-up bars and balance boards. The park is situated just off of a paved bike/jogging/dog walking trail, the Dunwoody Trailway. There is a dog clean up station at the trail's entrance. You will find a couple of nice shelters at this park. One small and the other mid-sized, and both with picnic tables under them. They are not available for rent. They are first come, first served. The park features a fenced in splash pad with water that shoots up from spouts in the ground. It does not have any above ground water features, but is still nice and refreshing on one of those hot GA days. It is button activated and runs for 30-minutes. This splash pad is touted as being the city's first. Additionally, the park has a nice bathroom facility. The park's playground is on the mud free rubbery surface and has some modern, new equipment. There are percussion instruments, a fake log, a saucer swing, a friendship swing and toddler swings, a large jungle gym with monkey bars, slides, ladders, bridges, and canopies. There is a smaller jungle gym for little kids. That apparatus has a small slide, tunnels, and other fun stuff. This is a newer park, opening in 2023. At 5-acres, it is kind of small. I still like it though. It may not be a destination park, but still worth a visit if you are in the area.

It wasn't until we continued driving did we see the park expanding and reaching into different corners of the neighborhood. If I lived in the area i'd visit this park daily, and the fact that you can take a trail to the city is kinda awesome. Clean park with lots to do as well as a community building with restrooms makes Keswick Park a neighborhood park hidden to all but those who live here. Pay this hidden gem a visit.

There's now a dog park which is super convenient for us on days that we don't feel like driving the additional 10 minutes to Brookhaven Park. The only downside is the parking... on a busy Sunday midday on a temperate winters' day all of the fields, tennis courts, playground, etc. were in full use. We had to park in the neighborhood and do a short walk, but at least there was a sidewalk. The nearby street that connects Dresden to Buford Highway had clearly posted No Parking signs. The dog park is a short walk from the parking lot. The paths around the park were all recently paved. There are divided sections for large and small dogs (30 lbs and under). While it isn't nearly as big as Brookhaven, and doesn't have grass (it's mostly concrete, soft mulch, and pine straw), it's still enough room for dogs to run and play. There's a little tunnel/obstacle, a few metal benches to sit on, and a really nice sun shade that will be perfect for summer or rain, and a drinking fountain. Now it's time to get more dogs there! The concession stand was also open today.

It has a couple of baseball fields, a tennis complex with a bunch of courts, and a couple of soccer fields. They are all very nice, but they are not opened to the public and are locked to keep people out. You need a permit to use the baseball and soccer fields. The tennis courts are managed through the tennis complex on site. As an added bonus most of the courts and fields are lighted for night play. You will find an ample amount of parking available here, spread between lots all throughout the park. The park also features a nice and extensive trail system for bikers, walkers and joggers. You will find a little green space to toss a ball around or have a picnic. There are also gliders swings and benches available to sit and enjoy. There are dog clean up stations all over the park and they have a monument of sorts in memorial of the 8 people killed in the 2021 anti-asian spa shootings. The memorial features a nice golden statue of an asian woman sitting down. The park has a huge shelter that is available to rent. The shelter has a bunch of picnic tables under it and a grill just outside of it. The park has two playground area. The smaller one is by the baseball fields. It has a small play structure with monkey bars and a slide. This play area also has toddler swings. The other playground, on the other side of the park, is much larger. There is where you will find wood balance beams, saucer swings, a large net structure, slides, and a net climber. There are bathroom facilities near both play areas, with the larger, and in my opinion better one being on the side with the larger playground. The park is a nice place to hold local events the Brookhaven Cherry Blossom Festival, food truck Wednesdays in the summer, and Light Up Brookhaven in the winter is held here. I like this playground. It is very well maintained. However, much of its amenities are private and require a permit. Most of the park's visitors that I saw during my visit were taking advantage of the park's trails. There were no kids on the play ground. Being a hot weekday may have something to do with that. I do feel this is a destination park unless you are attending an event here.

It looks like this park is more focused on being sports-related, with a full basketball court, two half basketball courts and a pickle ball court. If there is a line to play basketball, there are benches for players to sit on while they're waiting. To one side of the courts is a big green space. To the other side of the courts is a big pavilion, providing a nice shaded area that has many picnic tables. I think there are restrooms on the backside of the pavilion. The pavilion can be reserved through the City of Dunwoody, and there is a fee to reserve it. If there isn't a reservation for the pavilion, it's first come, first served. On the other side of the pavilion are bbq grills, another big green space, and a big terraced seating area. The Dunwoody Trailway, a nice and wide concrete pathway which is great for running, bicycling, skating, pushing strollers, etc., goes through the backside of the 5 acre park, and provides a convenient way to get to Georgetown Park in one direction and Brook Run Park in the other direction. Also towards the rear of the park are stationary exercise equipment. Besides the limited parking lot spaces, other drawbacks to this park are that there isn't that much shade (other than under the pavilion) and there isn't any playground equipment for children. Like I stated at the beginning of my review, this is a well maintained park! Because of the new appearance that the City of Dunwoody maintains, I thought this was a relatively new park, but it's actually about five years old. The parking lot pavement looks new, the sports courts look new, and the pavilion and picnic benches look relatively new. I'm glad that visitors to this park, and, obviously, the City of Dunwoody take pride in this park!

So big that there are paved paths and trails within the park where you can give yourself exercise while the dogs are getting theirs. Also love that there are public restrooms inside the dog area as well as a huge pavilion and other areas that provide shade and rain coverage. I'm slightly perplexed as to why there are barbecue grills as human food and dogs aren't really a good combo, but you could always seek a different section of the park if someone does decide to have a picnic there. A creek runs through the park and there is a large drain pipe that the dogs could theoretically enter, so you should keep an extra special eye on them in that area. At the top of the park you have a pretty good view of all areas if your dog is exploring on their own. I spotted a dog drinking fountain only near the entrance but you could always fill your bowl there and carry it to another section. The first time I visited parking was a huge challenge as there was some kind of holiday festival happening with an ice skating rink. But the second time on a rainy Saturday there was no issue with parking. So glad this re-opened! We will be here often.
