I cannot recommend Jess enough for microblading services!…read more For a long time, I knew microblading was something that I wanted to do, so I researched other microblade artists in central IL (& beyond). At some point during my research, Jess was recommended to me & after browsing her work on Instagram (@fullerbrows), I knew her style matched with what I was envisioning for my eyebrows -- very natural-looking. The microblading process seems intimidating, but Jess is very professional & walks you through the entire journey to make you comfortable with the prep, the procedure itself, and the aftercare. Going into the procedure, my brows were very sparse, so I opted to have 3 sessions instead of the typical 2. At no point did I feel pressured to book a 3rd session; it was 100% up to me, which I appreciated. Jess is very dedicated to her craft, so know that you'll be in good hands with someone who wants you to have a great experience & also the best brows for your face & the time & money you're spending.

A recent run in with a hot pink bridesmaids dress left me in desperate need of a less snowy complexion. Skin DImensions uses an airbrush tanning machine wielded by a trained esthetician which is much less scary than a giant machine hosing you down with Oompa Loompa juice. I could tell her my fears of orange hands/feet and how I just wanted a nice glow, not a full fake bake. I have never been this color in my life as I normally burn, peel, repeat so this was incredible for me! I was a soft light tan color that was even natural on my face and no orange hands!! It was a little pricey (in my mind) $40 for a week long glow but definitely worth it when I was faced with my arch nemisis, hot pink!

The owners Dawn and Ty, were very nice as well as the other employee. She (I can't think of her name )was actually very very nice. The shop was very clean and I really appreciated the fact that they take appointments all the time, even on Saturdays. Did I mention that the shop was VERY clean and comfortable. I also appreciated that they are very honest with the turnaround time and don't just double book you. I got a pedicure and manicure for $48. A bit more expensive than the chicago land area. Yet,I tend to get a pedicure and no chip manicure for $50-$55. She did an absolutely amazing job on my pedicure. She took her time and was very thorough. While the nail technicians were very nice and personable and the shop was very clean; I wasn't completely satisfied with my nails. I believe the polish I chose may have been running out or something because my nails have chipped already and it's been less than 24 hours. I think they just need to update their polish a bit. I would suggest looking for an OPI color and asking them, how long they've had the color if you are looking to get a regular manicure. Now they had plenty of options for gel. Perhaps, they specialize in gel manicures and I went with the wrong service. I also saw that they offer microblading and eye lash extensions there but I did not use either of these services. I just thought they were cool services.
