Specialties
Are you overwhelmed, frustrated, or confused by all that life has thrown at you? Perhaps you have old wounds or some new ones. Maybe you're doing pretty well but going through a big transition. I would love to come alongside you and help care for you. I believe that there is power in talking through one's struggles, shedding light and giving hope and tools for healing. I work with individuals and couples. If you are interested, I offer unconventional methods such as animal-assisted therapy, walking during sessions, or Skype sessions. I look forward to hearing from you.

Meet the Business Owner: Claire R.
Claire B. Ruth, MACC, LMFT
Claire Ruth is a Marriage and Family Therapist, pastor's wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend.
This world is messy and beautiful, painful and joyful, confusing and inspiring. She gets it. She would like to help.
Claire grew up in the piedmont of North Carolina and graduated from Queens University of Charlotte, where she spent considerable time researching and practicing animal-assisted therapy and working with Young Life, a youth outreach program. She studied counseling at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Charlotte because she believes our mental and emotional health are tied to our spiritual wellbeing.
After becoming a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate, Claire accompanied her husband to Africa for his job. In their travels through 14 countries, they had the privilege of learning from so many different cultures, that it has widened Claire's understanding of this world in which we live.
