I am 50 years old with long hair, that naturally doesn't suit, but these are the guys that make it look good and the best it possibly can every time, ever since it's been long, and no one anywhere has been able to do this. Trained with, and by Pete Luke, the duo are outstanding, not only with their experience and expertise, but their friendliness and warm welcome - it's like coming home. No one else in Nuneaton where I grew up, or anywhere in the World as I've traveled, has cut my hair and ( I've been to the most top celebrity/model salon in London, requesting their top stylist, it was very expensive, and I wish I'd just come back home to these guys! ) left me feeling so happy with the cut or finished style. Paul Voss, undoubtedly one of the best hair designer s the area has to offer, started life at Bren Hair in 1983, before going on to manage the salon in the early 90s. He then went on to join up with good friend & superbly talented Pete Luke in Weddington. Pete is a renowned & well regarded figure in the world of hair, who besides having had several salons in the area, has also trained a vast amount of Nuneaton's Hair fraternity when a lecturer at the college. The third member of the team is Alex Barker, who is an extremely talented young hairdresser who excels in cutting and colouring. I have been to many other local salons and have done the Toni and Guy thing, yet I have never felt as welcome and at ease as I do with the guys at Legend. I always come out with a style I like and most of all something that suits me. All the staff are friendly and over the years I have had my hair done by most of them at one point or another.The thing I have learnt is that they all have different skills and expertise so there is always somebody that can answer your questions, whether its about the cut, colour, or which products are best for your hair type etc. Good honest advice. They keep in touch with their clients via facebook/twitter and have even sent me birthday cards over the years with money off vouchers. My mum is also a regular at Legend and I know she would agree with me when I say that Legend are great at what they do. I think the highest compliment I can give Legend is this, while they have regular training sessions and are up on all the latest trends/colours and cuts, I am a normal everyday girl who likes my hair to look nice so I look and feel nice. This is what Legend do. They give me a great hair cut, great colour and leave me feeling confident that I look good and importantly have a style that is managable on a daily basis. So if you are looking for a friendly service that is both quality and good value then I cant recommend Legend highly enough. Oh and if your lucky they may even throw in a free cuppa!

Legend has very high standards when it comes to offering what the customer wants exactly, they will always give their professional opinion. The products are all top brands such as GHD, Goldwell, kms etc. at very affordable prices. The hairstyles are perfection with very artistic flare, always with on trend hairstyles from the fashion world and celebrities. I would reccomend Legend to anyone as they are very welcoming to all and you can not fault this salon on perfection. I will always put my custom here :)

The salon is linked with the Aveda hair and beauty products, so that should tell you something about the style and quality. After the consultation with the hairdresser I had a lovely fragrant head massage with oils ('the sensory journey'), a very nice wash, I was offered the drink of my choice (capuchino) with a chocolate bar. The cut is very good, the hairdresser was very pleasant, not pushy as is sometimes the case, and most important for me, was not too chatty. I thought the price was good too, £31 for a cut and blow dry with very good service. I might have to become unfaithful to my regular hairdresser. Don't tell him!
