We were tired and cold from our long drive Along the Wild Atlantic Way. Claddagh House was a lucky find. We were immediately hit by how warm the house was and much taken with the host who welcomed us with a warm sunny smile, offered us tea which was brought in cheery little mugs with a plate of Irish cookies. The host was so friendly and helpful, giving us a list of places to visit and things to do In Ballina and its environs- things we would certainly not have found on our own! Her Restaurant recommendation for dinner was super- Waterfront House. Everything about this place is well done, beds and linens are top quality and comfortable, rooms are spacious clean and fresh, the bathrooms en suite with a powerful stream of hot wAter, towels are soft.
