I am a former patient (2022) had a good experience at that time. I was looking for treatment for a hiatal hernia, I called prior to scheduling an appointment to make sure they could treat that condition and was told they could. Upon check-in, I was informed of charges that included x-rays, which I questioned, as my visit was solely related to my hernia; therefore no x-rays were needed. During the intake process, a new staff member--assisted by another--was reviewing my medical history. There appeared to be some confusion, and despite my repeated explanations that I was there to address my hernia, the focus continued to shift to my spine. I clarified multiple times that I was not there for spinal care and was not interested in discussing or pursuing any unrelated services. At that point, the trainer responded dismissively, stating she would discuss the matter with the doctor. After briefly considering the situation, I chose to leave, as I was uncomfortable with how I was being treated and felt the environment was not conducive to receiving appropriate care. I informed the staff that I would not be continuing with the appointment. I emailed the owner with my concerns and never received a response. read more

I waited to see if this facility would respond after I expressed concerns on two separate occasions but I have yet to hear back, so I'm sharing my experience to hopefully guide anyone else away from this office. I love to use this platform to support businesses but I am so disappointed with Claddagh. A) Lack of transparency - I had unexpected costs at my first appointment as well as later appointments. In fact, I had stopped frequenting the office and they reached out to invite me back. I asked if I would have costs, and the receptionist checked to give me an answer. She said no, so I decided to schedule. I paid my regular fee but then at the next appointment, they told me I owed more from my previous appointment. I explained my phone conversation with the receptionist and the woman mocked me, saying "If you can't afford the $X..." It wasn't a significant amount, and I could certainly afford it, but it was the principle: they said I would not have additional fees and then I did. 2) Lack of hospitality - I had a massage scheduled far in advance that I'd been looking forward to. Got up early on a Saturday, arrived and waited for 15 min after my appointment before finally being told the massage therapist would be late because she had "something come up." 15 minutes into my appointment start time? Things happen, but the best they offered was half the massage time at more than half the price, or rescheduling. I did explain this to my chiropractor at a future appointment and she was very gracious, but there was still no follow up. To me, it's not about entitlement, it's about doing right by the customer. My time and money were wasted that day. I did write a message about my experiences to the office and did not hear back. The massage therapists were fine but the front desk staff - other than one woman who seems to be well-established at the office- really ruined the experience for me. I hope they consider this and work to improve the experience for all guests. read more

Everyone here is extremely friendly and nice (they greet you by name when you come in and make sure you feel comfortable). It's just not the place for me. I have a history of going to the chiropractor, but my experience with Claddagh, although very nice and friendly, was not the best place for the type of treatment I'd like to receive. I appreciated their thoroughness (they like to educate you on what's going on and also go through your health insurance for what will be covered and what will not be) but it also felt like I was on an assembly line of employees coming in and out, which is efficient and I can understand why they have this system, but to me it was hard to explain my situation over and over. There isn't a lot of privacy as well, which can be uncomfortable at times when feeling vulnerable or wanting to ask personal questions. As a last resort to help my pain I tried the massage special they had, and I will say it was AMAZING. It helped a ton and the woman who did that service was an A+++++. read more

I can't say enough of how happy I've been here. From the massage therapists, to the assistants, to the chiropractors themselves, everyone is caring and professional. They truly listen to your concerns and do thorough examinations. My TMJ and neck issues have greatly improved under their care. Very thankful I just happened to walk in and give them a try! Throughout my pregnancy I saw dr. Andrea at Claddagh for regular adjustments to make sure my baby was in an optimal birthing position. The doctors are trained in the Webster technique which is so important for adjustments during pregnancy. In addition to adjustments I also received massages that helped alleviate all of the discomforts during my pregnancy. In very early labor I went in for a quick adjustment and massage, I happened to see a different doctor (dr. Kyle) who was also great! My labor and birth of my son was relatively easy and very fast. I credit a lot of this due to my regular appointments at Claddagh. read more

I love Claddagh! Everyone is so friendly and the staff really knows what they're doing. I started coming here a few months ago, as ordered by my general physician. They spent a few hours examining me, getting my history, and X-raying my back and pelvis, confirming what my doctor had said about things being all twisted/tilted. I visited several times a week at first, and then tapered it down. Now my visits are just to maintain. There is always some kind of yummy infused water, hot tea and regular water to drink upon arrival. And the therapies before the adjustment feel so good! They use this machine to massage you; it's almost like a sandbelt but soft. And then they give you heat or ice, depending on pain, before the adjustment. The chiropractors are skilled and knowledgable -- Dr. Andrea and Dr. Tim are AWESOME! I often wonder how they know exactly what I need just by looking at me, but they do! I was sore a bit at first as they gradually moved my bones back to where they should be, so I also decided to take advantage of the fact that my health insurance covers massages. The massage therapists rock my world. Despite that they're small girls, both Chora and Adrienne sure know how to dig deep. I've even arranged to work from home on Wednesdays just so I can get a massage from Adrienne every Wednesday morning. It's been great for muscle recovery (I am very hard on my body with gymnastics, biking, softball, trail running, kettlebell slinging and HIIT), and a great treat to myself for working so hard on my health and fitness. I had a massage with Jordan and everything about it and her was exquisite. She's skilled, chill, has a ton of experience, and was the best I've had in years, very attentive. The establishment is nice, but the staff all seem a little confused about times and prices and such. They don't have online booking either, which is kind of behind the times especially in such a flooded market. Regardless, Jordan will be my new therapist. All in! read more

It's chiropracty meets spa and that combo doesn't make the medical side of things seem as scientific, making it instead more psuedo-scientific. Dr. Kyle is a smooth talker but when he adjusts you he doesn't try very hard or work for long at all. They will nickel and dime you every chance they get and sometimes will have you do things that cost extra without asking you. You really have to be clear that what you're getting is included in the flat rate. They can't keep their billing straight either, saying one day I only have to pay a portion of a visit because of a credit I was entitled to, then a month later charging me the rest of that visit. They talked me into getting an x-ray but completely neglected to mention it would cost me close to 300 dollars. Didn't get a one star review because I was adjusted once by the female doctor, who's name I can't remember at this time, and she put effort into it, using an impact massager to drill out knots. She uses more force and spends more time. Stick to using it as a spa. read more

I've been coming to Claddagh since October at the recommendation of the Ferndale Forum. I had never been to a chiro before this and decided to go this route because I wanted a more natural solution to my hip pain. My insurance affords me both chiropractic and massage therapy so I get treatment often. The staff is always friendly and I find Jane and reception efficient, warm, and detail oriented. I get adjusted by Dr. Andrea and Dr. Gautier and I find relief after my treatment, especially paired with massage. If you like deep tissue, Jordan has the best hands ever and has a great positive attitude. Cora also has great hands and uses more movement to work out my kinks. You can't go wrong with either of them! read more

Claddagh Chiropractic has exceeded my expectations for chiropractic care. Since starting my treatment only a few months ago for subluxation from years of stressful, corporate desk work, I am feeling amazingly better! My Yoga practice has improved considerably, I feel my body loosening as it will crack and pop in its own now, and I truly feel better from the inside out. I just started seeing them and so far I like what I am experiencing. I needed to get a new health care provider but can't go to conventional medicine. Last alignment jacked up my neck and caused pain to shoot down my arm. Had to get xrays, mri, see an orthopedic surgeon to get an epidural in my neck to relieve the extreme pain. Needless to say, I won't be back. read more

The service was not good and it was expensive and the wait times are not professional at all. I do not recommend this place as they will over x Ray you which causes permanent damage to your dna! I went here on a recommendation from a coworker. I had never been to a Chiropractor before but I had pinched a nerve in my lower back and was in excruciating pain. I called to see if they had any openings for that day, when I was informed they do accept walk-ins. I was willing to try anything that didn't require me to be heavily medicated, so I hurried on over. I am not sure what I was expecting when I walked in but was pleasantly surprised by how everyone was so nice and accommodating even the Drs'. I got a cold laser treatment which helped lessen the pain. I go at least once a week. I have enjoyed my experiences with the Doctors and staff so much I decided to start having my 10 yr old son get adjusted. I could go on and on but to keep it short. Awesome Place!!!! read more

Over the past six months, I have tried 2 times to make a first time appointment because others have recommended this place. I guess it is a great place if you have a completely flexible schedule and don't mind waiting forever for an appointment. Sorry but if you are unable to work with me to make a first time appointment, I will assume you will be unwilling to be flexibility if I am in pain and need to get in quickly. I really like Claddagh. One other review said that they were upset because they could not get an initial appointment, I did not find this to be the case. I was actually kind of terrified to see a chiropractor, because I know a few people who have had bad experiences, but I was pregnant and I was having low back pain that kept getting worse and worse, despite all my best efforts to correct it with exercise and posture. When I called I got my initial appointment within 1 week...Dr. Andrea took a lot of time with me for that initial appointment. She really took her time to find out about my situation and my history, and answer all of my questions. She recommended that I come in 3 times per week in the beginning, which I thought was a lot, but I trusted her and my back pain greatly decreased. Then we stepped it down to once a week, and now I go in for more of maintenance care. My back feels normal again! I am so relieved. They have different techniques that they use, so you can really work with them to do what you are comfortable with and what will work best for your situation. When I go in for my "maintenance" adjustments, I am in and out very quickly. I usually get adjusted immediately after I sign in, although occasionally there is a 5 minute wait, but that does not bother me. Also, I often bring my baby and/or toddler with me, and they are very accommodating. Someone on staff will hold and calm my baby if he is fussy while I am being adjusted, or help my daughter get some toys or water, they are absolutely great with kids. Also, Dr. Andrea is certified in Webster technique, which is a specific training for pregnant women, so I was very happy that she was able to do that for me.
