VERY DISPLEASED!!! I rated this Dance Theatre one star for lack of professionalism and common courtesy.
I noticed a chair propping the door open so while holding my sleeping two year old, I moved the chair, opened the door and went through. When I walked in I was not greeted AT ALL, one of the female instructors stood holding a conversation with a lady about oils she was selling (I was slightly confused about her selling oil since we were standing in a dance studio, but the oil was there out on the desk) She looked at me but DID NOT say Hi, I'll be with you in a moment or anything of that sort. So I walked to the front at which appeared to be a front desk but noticed they were holding guitar lessons, finally the instructor said she would be with me shortly. I replied "great because I'm here to get information on some classes" she continued her conversation about the benefits of peppermint oil, while myself a potential client stood, waiting and holding a two year old.
Finally once the "oil customer" left, I was acknowledged and before I could ask any questions, I was told "we're a Christian dance studio" I replied "Great, I love that" then I was told "We're not like the dance shows on T.V. with the little girls half- dressed" and I replied "I'm glad to hear that since I'm here for BALLET!!!" Then I was told "And we're not taking anyone until the summer because we're prepping for competition" We shared uncomfortable small talk until I Finally got the point and asked if she had any pamphlets she replied "No", Next I asked if she had anything regarding summer classes on the website and again she replied "No" so I told her "thank you" and she watched me move a chair out of the door way, hold the door open, all while holding my two year old. I felt very uncomfortable and felt as if my business was unwanted. read more
