I visited Italy already in the fifties, I even worked as a student there but I cannot remember such a dish. All kinds of pasta yes. I think that this is a North American invention similar to Chicken Balls in Chinese restaurants. So my wife ordered a Caesar salad and I hamburger with french fries. Both with coffee! We enjoyed the food. The prices were very moderate. The service friendly, but the lady who served us was not really organized or she was nervous,. English was not her mother tongue, but mine is also another language. I would not blame the interior of the restaurant or the doors for all the failing business trials in this location. Parking is good, as long as the tenants of the close by apartment building are not using it and the prices were always very reasonable. If the quality and appearance of the food keeps up and the prices stay moderate other reasons for failing again should be looked at. I can image that for example ridiculous high taxes can kill such a business. Also certain bylaws killed already some business. Inspections are mandatory, but why close a little Dutch restaurant because not having a triple sink or maybe only one washroom? Can I still invite friends to our home for dinner? All aircraft shall be grounded then! Why does our mayor only come to an opening but not to a funeral of a business?

At the end of the meal they wanted to add a 25% tip for groups ( which is ridiculous). We complained to the server and asked to speak to the owner. Matteo was rude and didn't agree with the fact that our food was forgotten. The apology felt insincere and they did not offer any explanation as to why our food took so long. It was a horrible experience and we felt taken advantage of. We will never come here again and neither should you!

I even have a confirmation email showing the delivery time. By 7:00, nothing had shown up, so I called the store. No one called me to clarify, and I shouldn't have had to chase them down an hour and a half later to find out what was going on. After that call, I still waited another hour. The food finally arrived 2.5 hours after ordering. The manager wasn't helpful and didn't offer a discount or anything to make up for the delay. I ended up making food for my kids and changing our evening plans. By the time it arrived, one child was already in bed, the others had eaten, and I was the only one who actually ate it. For dine-in a month ago, the service wasn't any better. After waiting 40 minutes for our food, it was served without cutlery or napkins. I asked our server twice, and nothing was brought. The hostess told me to ask my server or the kitchen, and when I went to the kitchen, they said, "your server will give you some." It ended up taking 20 minutes after our food was served just to get basic utensils. Both times were extremely disappointing. This location needs to seriously improve its service and communication.
