There is bleacher seating, or bring a blanket or chairs to sit in the grass. One of my personal favorites is the All Stars game with all the mascots, and my favorite of all time.. our very own Dinger! Sometimes they have fireworks after the show, and that's always fun! I was there recently for a rained out game vs. the epically-named Walla Walla Sweets, and even though the game never even got started we still had a great time! I've also attended many fun (and sunny) games in the past, usually on $2 Tuesday when you can buy a second ticket for just (you guessed it) two smackeroos. One of the least mentioned things about attending a Bells game is that they seriously have the most impressive tap list I've ever seen at a sporting event. Yeah, there's a guy selling the cheap stuff too - but just past him you'll find taps (and cans) of many classic local and regional brews. When's the last time you saw Iron Horse Brewery's Irish Death on tap at T-Mobile Park in Seattle? I'm just sayin'. By the way, even though our game against the very entertaining Sweets was rained out I'll still go again - because I can use my "rained out" ticket stub at a future game to get in free. How cool is that? Go Bells!

Be considerate of neighbors when parking. Nobody likes to come home and be unable to park. Also, mind parking laws. Parking on crosswalks, in front of mailboxes, and very close to STOP signs really isn't a good idea. If you buy the wrong size apparel from the team store, they will allow you to exchange sizes. No returns. Prices are a little high; items are good quality. Some of the concession stand food is lacking. Don't waste money on the veggie burger. For $7, burger only, it actually really is quite pitiful. $2 Tuesday concession items for $2 include a hotdog, nachos, large fountain pop, and select beer.

There was no designated parking lot for the park, so I went with street parking on one of the streets bordering the park. It was a windy and chilly autumn day with the orange leaves and green grass contributing to an overall magical feel. In the time I spent strolling around the park I was the only one about and about on foot. A large grassy area was encircled by a paved path with trees closer to the edges of the park. Benches speckled along the paved walkway provided places to sit. A cluster of amenities abutted a tree-covered hill with small trail system. Included was a covered picnic table area, a playground, and a swing set with swings both for the young kiddos and more adult size. It was a pleasant place to go for a stroll.

Best known as home to the Farmer's Market, this venue is actually owned by the City of Bellingham and boasts any number of events in its unique indoor/outdoor setting. Outside there are long rows of covered areas to protect vendors from sun/rain, and inside the vast, naturally lit space is flexible enough for anything from meetings to weddings to dances. There are also convenient bathrooms, and up in the SE corner of the building you will find the Depot's only permanent resident: Ralf's Bavarian Pretzels. I've spent many an hour (perhaps even several entire days) at the Depot, and I never tire of its classic Bellingham vibe. See you at the next festival!

They have wine and snacks and had a really nice table of books to buy as provided by the local bookshops. It was incredibly clean and well-maintained, which isn't something you always see in old theaters. The beverage cups maybe look a little too close to medical sample cups, but everything else was perfect.
