During the consult she walked through the spaces with me and asked me to share what I needed and what my goals were, and I told her a lot of the mess stemmed from issues with ADHD & depression. She was overwhelmingly understanding of my situation and was able to schedule me in fairly quick after the consult, and I feel like the quote she gave and the projected hours were reasonable given the project size. Sofia and Zoe on her team came to help organize and declutter and they were a pleasure to have over-- extremely kind and understanding overall. They checked in with me frequently and gave me recommendations for organization and how to keep things organized going forward. It's clear that Rachel and her team care about the projects they take on and the people that they're helping. I feel so much better in my bedroom and working in my office now-- They've made a tremendous difference for me, and I no longer feel ashamed of my space nor do I dread entering the rooms anymore. Everything feels more manageable now. A big thanks to Collector Care from me, would highly recommend!

I am super irritated that this is the second time the Hope Chest has been picky about what they…read morechose to accept as donations. I am not donating poor quality items. The items are in great to excellent shape. My first experience with them as far as donations was when I needed a couch to be picked up. I heard they would pick up items. When I called they gave me the third degree and acted like it had to be brand new for them to pick it up. My couch was perfectly fine to donate and the family who received it was more than happy. Because in the end, I told Hope Chest to just forget it! They obviously didn't want my donation. Well, today I called ahead of time and the person I talked to said, "Make sure you don't have a truck load of donations right before closing!" She didn't say anything about them not accepting toys of any kind. I would not have wasted a trip. I also agree with some of the other posts, their prices are pretty high for a thrift store. Yes, sometimes the manager will work with you. But I don't like to haggle. I would rather just see a good/fair price, pick it up and take it home. I also wish they would have student/teacher discount day like some of the other thrift stores have. It would be nice. :)

I wish I had more time to go through the whole thing slower but not today. The service was busy for sure being half off everything. Last words...saved for another day.

Also, there are some good deals but still a bit pricey like a brand new banana republic dress with tags still on for $30. They had Seiko watches for $40 b it the face was scratched. Books selection was good but didn't get why a kids/beginner level book was $2.99 (think soft copy Berenstein Bears book). Kids selection is ok, but more than what I'd like to pay for used kids clothing.

Everything is organized in sections and labeled. Again, a lot of variety. The book section is grand and I like how they're also organized by topics. Only thing that was a deterrent with this store was the pricing. Sure, you can look for the 50% color tag on some items to get a discount and possibly find a hidden gem of a deal, BUT Ross and Marshalls are literally across the street and they have all this new stuff for the same or even cheaper price (at least what I saw clothing wise). I personally wouldn't go out of my way to this location. I would think with so many items being donated, you'd find a fair price to keep items circulating and truly being a thrift price. Would I go back? Sure. It's just wasn't my exciting go to thrift spot. Check it out for yourself!
