She was unbelievably knowledgeable, engaging, and truly made the entire tour special for our whole family. Sophia was especially wonderful with our kids and made them feel included and excited throughout the tour. At one point our youngest got scared, and Sophia immediately stepped in with so much kindness and patience that she had her smiling and feeling safe again within minutes. As parents, that meant so much to us. You can tell Sophia genuinely cares about what she does and about the people on her tours. She made the caverns come alive with fascinating information while also making the experience fun, relaxed, and memorable for everyone. We all had the absolute best time and honestly can't say enough great things about her. Thank you, Sophia, for making our visit such a special family memory!

Our tour guide, Michael, was super friendly, ensured our safety, made sure our girls had a good time (along with everyone else), and kept our tour engaged with hilarious humor! Price was good, staff was friendly, service was great, tour was as a good hike (should've worn shorts), and we had a wonderful time. Bring the family! You'll have a wonderful time. Tips: 1. Wear shorts and be ready to walk up and down, so wear those tennis shoes with decent grips. Gets a bit wet at times. 2. Don't follow Google maps that may lead you to their service road. Keep driving up the road and look out for their obvious signs towards their parking lot.

The Quintessential Texas Hill Country Day Out!…read more If you're looking for the perfect blend of Texas hospitality, smoky BBQ, and scenic vineyard views, look no further than the Austin Detours Hill Country BBQ & Wine Shuttle. I recently took this tour in February, and it was the highlight of my weekend (as I'm a local). Whether you are a local hosting out-of-towners or looking for a professional team-building outing, Austin Detours provides a seamless, stress-free way to experience the best of Central Texas. 5/5 recommend! Our day started at the Austin Visitor Center where we met our driver, Luke, who was fantastic throughout the trip. We hopped into a comfortable Mercedes Sprinter van for a smooth 40-minute drive out to the hills. One of the best parts of these tours is the people you meet. Our group included travelers from Ontario and Brazil, and it was wonderful swapping stories about their first impressions of Texas while we cruised toward our first stop. We started strong at this legendary BBQ spot - The Salt Lick. After placing our orders for some of that famous fall-off-the-bone brisket, we took a quick walk over to Salt Lick Cellars to grab some wine. Pro tip: Salt Lick is BYO, so being able to grab a bottle right there to pair with the BBQ is a game changer. Next up was Driftwood Estate Winery which was pure relaxation. We grabbed a bottle, found a spot under a massive oak tree, and just took in the incredible Hill Country views. Our new international friends joined us after their tasting, and the conversation was just as good as the wine. Our final stop at Fall Creek Vineyards was originally meant for a formal tasting, but the interior was buzzing and a bit loud. Since the Texas weather was doing us a massive favor -- sunny and nearly 80°F in February! -- the group opted to buy a few bottles and head outside to the fire pit. It was the perfect way to wind down. The drive back to the Austin Visitor Center flew by. We were all chatting, sharing snacks, and enjoying a final beverage in the van. A few things to keep in mind: The $69 price is for the expert guide and transport. You'll want to budget about $35 for BBQ and $10-$25+ for wine tastings/bottles. The Vibe was incredibly flexible. Whether you want to do a formal tasting or just split a bottle by a firepit with new friends, the pace is up to you.

First time here was way back in 2002 for an event during the 15th Annual International Nissan Z Car Club Convention. Second was in 2018 for Old West Christmas Light Fest which was such a lovely event with all the lights at night and fire pits for s'mores. Third time is a charm in 2019 for both a private event in Dec during their light fest. I really do enjoy here, love the atmosphere on the ranch, and the friendliness of the owners and staff. Enchanted Springs is a perfect setting for a true Old West / Texas experience event. Everything included, even some live Longhorn cattle can be found around these parts. Yee Haw!

The online booking process was easy, we ordered the large package (up to 4 people, 1 large item, 1 medium item, 2 small items and glass bottles). Checking in was very swift and easy as well, Grant (the owner's husband) was super friendly and explained everything very clearly! We ended up getting to break a large wooden dresser, a wooden table with glass panels, an old monitor, and a keyboard. Tools for destruction (baseball bats, a large metal wrench, sledgehammers) goggles, gloves, and a JBL speaker were provided for us. You can even bring your own items to destroy as long as they aren't something with chemicals/oil in them. You can also bring your own tools to destroy things as long as they aren't blades. We got 50 minutes to destroy everything, we got everything done in about 45 minutes, so you get a decent time to break stuff. All cleanup is handled by the staff, so you don't have to worry about making a huge mess. That's the point! I would definitely return, was smiling and laughing all through the entire 50 minutes we got. Would recommend wearing a long sleeve, maybe jeans, and some thicker shoes/boots since you'll be stepping on glass most of the time. Be mindful that fragments of glass/wood WILL go flying, so be aware of your surroundings and use common sense. We had a blast and couldn't recommend this business more!

We did end up having to add 2 more people to the group, but the owner was very accommodating and charged us a fair price. You do have the option to bring your own items to destroy if you like, and he was cool enough to let us look around to see if we were interested in breaking other things. There is one medium-sized room here in the building where you can do as much destruction as you like (fits about 6 people we had in the group). We were provided safety goggles and gloves you had to wear in the room before doing anything, and for those who didn't wear pants, you had the option to use the overalls they had. We had a few tools you can use offered to us, like hammers, baseball bats, sledgehammer, and a huge pipe wrench. We had 50 minutes to do whatever we wanted and was plenty of time turned out. We all took turns slamming down and breaking glasses around the room. It's a great stress reliever for sure! The sledgehammer was the heaviest out of all the tools but was my favorite choice of weapon. Definitely got the job done! This was really a great experience, and I would absolutely recommend it for anyone to try! For sure, I'll consider coming back here with friends and family. Keep in mind that you need to book it ahead of time. You can't just walk in. You can also book multiple people too more than what the packages offer but call them to get more info for that.
