I called Whole House for an estimate on insulating my attic (1,100 sq ft ranch) with blown-in…read morecellulose. Tony (the owner...this is a small, family-owned business) called me back within hours, and came to my house within a couple of days. He inspected the attic, measured the house himself, and gave me an estimate within 2 days. His estimate was several hundred dollars less that the other estimate I received, and included everything I wanted (cellulose, air-sealing of attic penetrations, baffles/vents for the soffit ventilation). Tony s employees John and Adam came this past Monday (9/30/2013) and did a great job! They never stopped working, kept my house immaculate (even devising a plastic sheet chute dropping down from the attic to keep the stuff from floating around). (BTW, the blowing part was much quieter than I expected). They built a dam around the attic opening, so the cellulose could be blown up the the correct depth, and attached extra insulation to the back of my attic opening. I m pretty fussy about home improvements...want the best value for the money, while getting the job done right. Tony and his crew met all my expectations, and more. I would highly recommend them! (p.s.: Tony was great about answering ANY questions, with no pressure)

I had a previous Spray foam contractor from a prior build and received 3 additional bids for this 2020 project. Closed cell IMO is the only way to go, that said the install is critical and the site crew was fantastic. George, was the lead and listened to my install concerns and did an excellent job. Rich and Walt were also on hand and also did great. They accommodated us the best possible in the timing of our project. They destroyed the insulation and made a mess of it. Also in my garage there were squirrels, and mice. I have to admit I had sticker shock when I got the quote ! But Ray was so professional, and helpful, that I realized that I had no choice in the matter. Cleaning, and disenfecting the attic, new insulation took a full day. they were so tidy and efficiant.
