I don't paint around them, I remove them. That gave e the opportunity to look in my wall cavities. There is no evidence of any foam being injected. I have looked in a few places with the same result. At first I thought maybe it was just one spot, or the foam settled. Nope. In multiple places it's the same. There isn't a shred of foam residue, or remnants at all. I see Retro foam of southwest Wisconsin is out of business. Big suprise if that's the way they did business. The thing is, I paid a lot of money to have this done, and now have no recourse. It would be one thing if the foam was installed and didn't work, but that didn't even happen. I did contact Retro foam corporate but they told me the installers are independent contractor, so too bad for you. The worst part is the feeling foolish for being taken..

I saw an ad on TV for Healthy Home Insulation, left a message on a Sunday, they came out the next day! Before Erik left he gave me an estimate for attic and basement (Healthy Homes) as well the walls from (Cozy Walls Insulation.) They were out here the following week to complete the job! I have HORRIBLE allergies that can cause my eyes to swell shut to causing vertigo. I was concerned that the smell of foam spray would be an issue. Amy, Cozy Walls said they would come out try a wall see how it went. If it was ok, complete the job, if not, we would figure something out. To me this is a company that truly cares about their customers! BOTH companies have gone above and beyond from start to finish. I would recommend them to anyone!

I had very specific engineering requirements for our build to achieve a very high performance, Thermal comfort gave us what I required. I had a previous Spray foam contractor from a prior build and received 3 additional bids for this 2020 project. I choose Thermal comfort from the 4 companies for several reasons and I am very pleased that I did. Closed cell IMO is the only way to go, that said the install is critical and the site crew was fantastic. George, was the lead and listened to my install concerns and did an excellent job. Rich and Walt were also on hand and also did great. They accommodated us the best possible in the timing of our project. They were thorough, conscientious and and their site prep and clean up was excellent. We have future projects and they will be our insulation contractor from now on.
