My husband and I are on vacation with our German Shepherd camping at an RV park in Williams, AZ. This afternoon we stepped out of the RV to chat with our friends before dinner. When we went back we couldn't open the door into the RV. Shouldn't be a problem, just go through the cab of the vehicle... uh oh - both doors are locked... and the dog is in the RV and had been in there for a couple of hours - it was time for a walk. We looked at each other... neither of us had keys - they were hanging inside the RV. Fortunately we have AAA Premium with RV coverage. I put in a service request on the AAA app on one of our phones. I mentioned our dog was in the RV and my husband's meds were also in there (he's diabetic). 5 minutes after I submitted the request a AAA rep called me to get more information. She said it would be 1 1/2 - 2 hours...yikes... I said ok. She then asked about the dog and my husband's meds. She said she would mark it urgent. 5 minutes later I got a call from a local tow company, City Towing, which works out of Kingman and Williams. She said they had someone on the way, but it would be about half an hour. 5 minutes later a young man named Ty called to let us know he was on his way. I got 2 more calls from AAA and City Towing checking to see if we were OK and if our dog was okay. (I appreciated them staying in touch and keeping us advised of an ETA.) Ty made it to our RV park within 35 minutes of me first submitting my service request. Ty arrived and within about 10 minutes, had us in our rig and we had our dog out. Kuddos to City Towing and Ty for being more than prompt, professional and efficient, and unlocking our vehicles doors in a very timely fashion. read more

Our Tesla's battery pack died in Kingman and needed to be towed back to Las Vegas. City Towing is Tesla's preferred company. Their price was about $100 below other quotes. The owner Cody is a thief he does not follow the state laws for when a vehicle tow happens , he wanted $1600.00 for us to get our belongings backs when our car caught fire. He kept my lively hood , all our familphotos, and many family possessions that were in our family for generations. So now I'm working with the Arizona attorney generals office to get this crook off of the rotation for calls . read more

Great and very professional work I drive a semi truck and I high-centered the trailer on a crossover on Highway 93 and in doing so blocked the left northbound lane . Had they pulled this out wrong it would have decapitated my valve and dumped 27 tons of dry powder cement on the road. They secured the damaged part of the trailer pulled me out without doing more damage and I was able to drive it back to my companies mechanic. This could have gone very wrong in so many ways. They did quality work thank you very much read more

If I could give this place 1000/5 stars I would! We were stranded 150 miles from our destination on a Sunday afternoon with limited options and needed an emergency tow truck. Shawnee was amazing and supppeerrrr sweet, kindly making sure my group and I were safe. She sent ShortBus, who texted us the entire time of his ETA, comforted us as he drove us to our destination, even offering his own candies. I want to sincerely thank the entire staff for how professional they were. We made it safely back home and it was all thanks to them read more

Truck towing a small fifth blows a radiator hose 70 miles from Kingman AZ as the sun goes down. Call AAA and Travis shows up with a rig that can handle both vehicles. Great guy with lots of experience. Once we were hooked up and we climbed out of the furnace into his refrigerated cab, he had water and good conversation for us. Being from Washington, we had no knowledge of local shops except for Yelp reviews. He confirmed our choice (Holden's), got our vehicles situated and took us to our hotel. I'm a raving fan of City Towing. read more

Jimmy saved us! We're super grateful and elated, very responsive and quick to arrive on the scene. Now no one wants a breakdown on their way to Vegas but 50 miles out of Kingman that was us. We called a couple of places but city towing was the only one that was able to tow us from where we were at. We had the driver named Blake and he was awesome. We learned that Kingman is a very small town Blake was very kind and courteous and made us feel very safe. The price was pretty reasonable and he told me how to go about getting my insurance company to reimburse the tow. read more

We were broke down in our semi truck in Las Vegas and couldn't get a local tow down to Tolleson, AZ Inland Kenworth. Our dispatch found City Towing out of Kingman and with them on the phone he relayed they were quoting around $2,000 for the tow, he asked us if we could do that. We agreed. City Towing did come. Manny was a very nice person but he told me from the get go once we were rolling and on the tow truck that they didn't work like that and we'd just see. This tow was done in two tows, down to Kingman and then the next day done to Tolleson. Our total bill was over $3,000, that is way over quoted price. I called to complain about the bill and he asked what made the tow take so long, and I told him that he drove roughly 35 mph with once in a while hitting 45. He told us he got paid per hour and he milked it for all he could get. We worked for another company and actually had the same tow take place and we were charged $1850. I don't understand why we had to pay over $1,000 over the quoted price. I wouldn't use them again when they can't honor what said. Also, his boss who said he would check into it and get back to us, never did! ZERO response! read more

WOW!! Cliff saved the day this morning! I called my Progressive road side assistance at 0529 this morning, City Towing was not contacted to assist me for over FOUR HOURS!! Once I got the contact information from PROGRESSIVE and shared my morning, Cliff personally said he was on his way. He asked me why they had not called earlier, as City Towing offers 24 hour service! (shame on progressive). Cliff was professional, kind, and FAST! He did an amazing job and had me back on the road quickly. Thank you SO much City towing for the exceptional, caring service! From the first interaction with the lovely lady who took my call and got things fast-tracked, to Cliff taking it on personally to help me out, hearing my stress during our call. I would HIGHLY recommend City Towing. (progressive, on the other hand, I'm not too impressed with) Rebecca read more

I went in to fill gas at a gas station, when dummy me locked my keys in the car. I called AAA who ended up being a huge letdown. They sent me to a different towing company who also couldn't help me. They sent me to City Towing. I had been stuck for about an hour by now, if not longer. The gentleman at City Towing both the man that answered the phone were both awesome. I have to say owning a repair shop I see a lot of tow truck drivers, by far hands down the nicest, most professional, knowledgeable driver I have ever had the pleasure of working with. We broke down on New Year's day heading out of Kingman. England promptly and cheerfully answered or call for help. They worked to help us resolve our dilemma without trying to offer us services we didn't need. The tow succeed quickly. Our van was loaded and unloaded efficiently. Being one of the busiest day of the year, the staff was not stressed and really went above and beyond to accommodate us. The issue was quickly diagnosed. Parts were ordered the next morning and the staff got right to work at 8am. What should've been a couple hour water pump change turned into an all day project as a result of salt rusted parts. Sorry guys! Thanks so much to Cody, Steve and the rest of the England staff for helping us get back on the road within 24 hours on a holiday weekend and for your fair and honest business. read more

I'd like to thank the employees for getting to me on highway 40 on Sunday evening when my truck broke down. They kept me informed of the expected arrival time and that was very important considering what the temp was outside. Very professional and service oriented. I'm in the service industry also and find myself on call like I'm sure the operator was. But his service w a great attitude was very welcomed and appreciated. God forbid we need a rescue in the near future, but if and when, I know a great towing co I can count on. Thanks again Tom Walsh,Michelle vass read more

I've had problems with this place since day one. Someone called and said I abandoned my 5th wheel and had it towed. When that said person who illegally had my 5th wheel towed. Gave me the info on where my 5th wheel was. When it was taken off her property I was out of town for work, just a few days. I would never ever abandoned my cats that were in the 5th wheel at the time they towed it and let alone I would never just leave my property abandoned. So I get ahold of this company demanding they let me in to get my cats. The lady at the front desk was very rude and said I couldn't and there was a 50 dollar gate fee!! Cody returned my call about this and said if there was cats he will let me in to get them but i wasn't a loud to take my property out of the 5th wheel. Now my work equipment is in there w iPads and so on. So I grab my cats and I tried to lock my 5th wheel while it was on his yard for safety measures. He told me I wasn't aloud to lock it! So after a week of trying to get the unnecessary fees together for this tow yard to be able to reclaim my property. I finally get my 5th wheel back and behold it was broken into and all my WORK equipment is gone, jewelry box stolen which contained my grandmothers jewelry. She is no longer with us. My kids gaming things, clothes, all there Christmas gifts gone and my novelty items!!! Why and why. I bring it to there attention, they say let me check our cameras we might have them on that! Nope they claimed the cameras wasn't working that day!! I contact the police, then about a month later I finally get the police report. In the police report it says that the tow yard went inside my property and they found items you would use to self medicate. Like they assumed nobody has a MMJ card!! Get real AZ! So it leaves the tow yard in my 5th wheel and responsible for everything that was stolen. The BBB knows of this. Please people if you don't want false allegations against you and your belongings stolen. Do not give this place any short of service. read more
