He has no experience with dogs and does nothing to help care for them. He will leave 50+ dogs alone in the pen and is not even watching them properly when he is in the pen. His lack of knowledge and experience is very apparent and he does not listen to his employees, who on the other hand most have years of experience. He is getting rid of really good staff without cause and having to care for the dogs on his own. Which can't lead to anything good considering he has no idea how to read dog body language, cues or break up a dog fight if one occurs. He is constantly on his phone and taking personal calls to the point where he doesn't even notice a fight about to break out right in front of him. Your dog will not be safely or properly cared for with this man. He is not to be trusted and I would strongly advise you to take your dog elsewhere.

I've boarded my dog there multiple times and he does very well with them - he's not even upset to be leaving us when we drop him off. Clean and large with multiple care options. The board cats too. This was Liam's third stay at the North York location, and it will be his last…read more On his first stay, I dropped off a healthy, clean dog and received an email the next day saying he had developed dried eye discharge, which staff had cleaned. I gave the benefit of the doubt. On his second stay, the same eye issue occurred again and was initially dismissed as dust. When I picked him up, his bark was strained and barely audible. I was told he had been barking while watching other dogs. After a few days of rest at home, his voice returned -- but it raised concerns about supervision and the environment. During his third stay, I was contacted and told he was limping while I was out of the country. Concerned, I arranged for my veterinary assistant to examine him the following morning. She confirmed there was nothing wrong with his back legs. He has always had a distinctive hop in his gait, which is not a new development. In addition, I have observed frequent staff turnover and a lack of organization. When I picked him up (after returning from Europe 14 days earlier), three staff members were sitting in the lobby on their phones. His belongings were returned in a disorganized manner, one coat was initially missing, and the bottom of his treat bag was damp. I also received a message stating that another dog was mounting him but that he "sets his boundaries well." As a paying client, I expect consistent supervision, cleanliness, and professionalism -- not reassurance that my small dog can manage situations himself. Repeated issues that only occur while he is in their care, combined with the lack of accountability and organization I have observed, have made it clear that this facility is not suited for my dog. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this location.

On my last stay while I was traveling on business they alerted me that my dog was losing some weight and offered to add extra food to his meals, all at no cost. They keep you connected by sending you photos of your dog playing each week you are away. Speaking of which they pair your dog with another one and arrange playtime for them together during the day which is great for the dogs to burn energy and foster socialization skills. They offer a menu of care at a price which is only natural. You can choose to have your dog walked 1 to 3 times a day, 1 or 2 play dates, have it basically tucked in at bedtime with someone. In fact I have 2 trips planned this summer and have arranged to have my Golden there both times. Photos are available at their website.

Harley loves the group walks, she gets out so much energy and is usually really tired and calm in the evening as a result. These walks are not only great for exercise but also socialization around other dogs and people. Eric is very accommodating and let us adjust Harley's schedule as needed without a fuss. I really trust them and feel confident they can respond appropriately even in emergency situations. During one of the groups walks Harley had a minor seizure, a really frightening experience. Eric called me right away and his quick thinking and careful observation of Harley ensured we had enough details to report to the vet. The vet was also impressed with the observations noted by the walkers during this incident as it gave the vet enough information to make a more informed decision on her diagnosis and treatment. Anytime I had emailed them a question or had to adjust Harley's schedule they responded back to me within less than 24 hours, usually right away! You can always reach them on the phone too. This is very reassuring that they can always be reached fairly quickly. We used their boarding services during our wedding as well. Harley seemed great, very happy and healthy when she was dropped off. I would definitely recommend this service, they get to stay at their walker's house so its someone they're used too and comfortable with, plus they're getting walks and socialization with other dogs. A huge bonus is the Facebook group that posts pictures daily of the dogs on their walks. Nothing makes me happier then seeing posts during the day that she is out and having fun! :) Overall great service and great people!

I chose them due to great reviews- and they have gone above and beyond. Sue was quick to respond and invited Bear in for a consultation to see how he interacts with other dogs. From the initial consultation everyone I came in contact at the facility struck a chord with me as you can tell they are truly animal lovers and love what they do! Our dog was having a great time at camp until 3 days in when the very vigilant staff noticed he was having some health issues. Sue quickly took our dog over to a very trusted local vet. Unfortunately, our dog has some serious health issues we were unaware of due to old age (and not at the fault of the camp). After a 1 night stay at the vet instead of washing their hands (which surely would of been easier); Sue offered to take care of our dog until our return. She has sent us text message updates and through regular conversations with her I can confidently say that our dog is in great hands right now even in the worst case scenario. Like anything else in life- you hope everything goes planned. The fact that they shine in the worst case scenario is all you need to know. Your pet will have a great time here and will be in great hands. Thank you Sue and the staff of Kamp K9!

I am outraged. When…read moreI picked up my dog Tallulah yesterday after Camille groomed her, I thought there was some kind of mistake, or maybe someone at Canine Social Company was pulling my leg. I had dropped off an itchy and smelling-like-dead-fish, shaggy ragamuffin of a dog at whom park snobs would point and snicker, "what kinda --doodle's THAT?" That's why I didn't recognize Tallulah when she emerged from Camille's salon so brushed up and out, her Afro puff bouncing with her every prance, that on the way home a dog-walker ran up to me and gushed, "what a gorgeous Portuguese Water Dog! She's obviously a show dog." This morning, when I chaperoned Tallulah on her "promenade through the park", I felt like I should have dressed up, with a top hat--and maybe a monocle--but definitely a walking stick with a huge gem on its handle.' Who needs that? It's a hassle and I hold Camille completely responsible for sculpting Tallulah into this attention-demanding diva. Her new stans would be mortified to discover Tallulah's nothing but a dolled-up bernedoodle with heady airs and a shiny coat. All that aside, Camille is a talented groomer who always makes Tallulah look and smell wonderful. I would recommend her to anyone, although not to everyone because it's already hard enough to get an appointment with her.
