Very disappointed with the level of service we've received. The staff there are without doubt the most unprofessional people I have ever had the frustration of having to deal with. This being said you are always dealt with in a polite and friendly manner, but this all falls into insignificance when considering the problems.
As mentioned in previous reviews customer service is non existent; no one ever calls you back. You'll eventually realise this only to call them again and find that the person calling you back has went home. No one does what they say they will ie. 'Can you have that sent over now please? We desperately need to move in asap', again, nothing is done.
They also do not call you if there's a problem that will delay your move in date, due to this terrible non existence of communication, I have had to do all the leg work including ringing reference companies on their behalf (of which the calls are charged at premium rate, no wonder City don't want to ring them themselves), which leaves you wondering where your £200 admin fee is really going. They really do not do anything for you. Even little things like 'can you email those details?', 'can you text that number to me?'- nothing.
After my experience working with them, City Residential simply do not care. Whilst we have dealt with them during a busy time of year, nothing excuses the level of negligence with which we have been treated. Our move in date has been delayed time and time again with no sign yet of fruition. Very disappointed and downhearted over the whole situation. Avoid. read more
