Popped in here just because and what a delightful little respite from busy Mills. Super cute shop with a gorgeous outdoor section. Nice place to look around.

A gem in the area. Plenty of orchids and tropicals for sale. The orchids are primarily hybrids and cultivars, few species. Lots of rare aroids, other tropicals, and even a few rare cacti and succulents. The staff present were helpful and friendly. The prices for most orchids range from 20 - 75 dollars. The primary issue I found was that many of the orchids are potted in highly compacted coconut husk chips and/or Sphagnum. Thus, it would be best to repot any purchased orchids into a looser mix to avoid rot.

Great prices & amazing selection! From from small indoor plants to orchids to small trees & larger plants, there is a lot to choose and they normally have some discounted as well. Pots for plants are also sold here!

So many tropical plants! Great selection

This quarantine thing has really made a lot of folks get into the housplant and landscaping game. City Oasis is the perfect name for this plant haven. I've driven by this place countless times while headed to my favorite eatery and drinkery in the awesome Mills50 area. But this has become one of my favorite local plant shops. It is jam packed with plants! Outside entrance area you will find tons of orchids and succulents. Inside they have a huge collection of calatheas or prayer plants. There is a shaded outdoor area that have all kinds of variegated ficus, huge trailing plants, and all kinds of philodendrons. If you are looking for a certain wishlist plant, just ask them! Variegated hoya hindu rope, string of hearts, rare alocasias may be kept in the back for the more peculiar shopper. I got a huge raphidophera tetrasperma or mini monstera spilling out of the pot here! The price was half of what you would see at online sellers and twice the size. It is a great place to get plant inspo. The workers are friendly and knowledgeable about the type of plants and plant care required.

I received excellent customer service at City Oasis. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. Their plants are well maintained and loved. I purchased two small cactus dish gardens ($70.00) that I absolutely love. They only need to be watered once a month, can tolerate the heat and are perfect on a lanai.

I've driven passed this place countless times but never stopped. I was looking for something in particular and someone off a Facebook group that I'm in recommended city oasis. I stopped in really quickly. I had a very short amount of time. But I loved this place! I found what I was looking for and so much more. First off, idk how they do it but their orchids are so beyond beautiful. They have bonsai, Hoyas, rare plants, indoor, outdoor and so much more. I ended up buying the large scindapsus exotica and I also got a philodendron micans. So many things to choose from. I wanted to look around more but my time was very limited, so I'll be back!

I love this little place ! Very friendly owners and asked if I needed any help! Also gave me a little discount! Too bad I don't live in the state I would be here all the time! I love it !

My new Elephant Air Plant! My new best fwiend! Other pretty things!

I spotted this place from across the street while eating a massive brownie with peanut butter ice cream. As I sat there consuming my fatty goodness, I thought "Hmmm...I believe a plant will enhance this experience of indulging myself." So, after my treat, I went across the street for another treat. Boy oh boy, was there a treat waiting for me! I doggie at the front door, greeting customers! I knew I was in the right place. Not knowing a lot about "exotic", or what I call "exotic" plants, I took my time looking around for something I couldn't murder. During this time, I had puppy dog company (which I LOVED) and two ladies, who worked there, casually conversing with me about plants. After chatting and looking through all the very pretty things (bonsai, orchids, other plants I don't know the names of), I settled on a tiny air plant. Its what I could handle. You just dip it in water a couple of times a week and I'm in love with it. I also found an adorable ceramic elephant container for it. It now lives in my kitchen window with a couple of other plants that easy to keep alive. For both items, tiny plant and tiny planter, it was about $25.00 My first thought was, "wow, this was kind of expensive" ... then I was like, "wow, I got really great customer service, I'm supporting a small business AND I met one of the cutest-coolest doggies in the world." So, worth it!!!

Wish I could give 10 stars! Plant Fam, this place is a Gem. I live in the panhandle and must stop to see my friends @ City Oasis. Alex is always so gracious and kind. Shout out to my new friend Calvin. You guys, I went to get a plant that may or may not survive in my house so thank you Alex for the helpful info. I ended up getting a Dragon Scale! I almost cried its so pretty. Calvin picked the best one for me, thnx. Now that to me is great service, not looking to make a quick buck but actually care. They have an incredible selection. The orchids are beautiful, I saw a 3 stem Vanda that was to die for. They have strawberry ice syngoniums! I think a rare red one too. Just a lovely store, lovely people and lovely plants! Can't wait to visit again. I highly recommend

My boyfriend and I have visited this location several times in the past week. They have a wonderful selection of indoor plants! I was able to find a lovely whale fin plant for our apartment and plan to go back from a Hindu rope and raven zz! They also have an extensive collection rare variegated plants and pre bonsai plants. This plant is truly a gem and we are very happy to have stumbled upon it!

Proceed with CAUTION for wedding florals. After what seemed…read morelike a great in person meeting with Kathy, everything went downhill. I ignored numerous red flags because we had a friend who used this shop for their wedding and had a good experience, however ours was far from good. To make a long horrific story short, the red flags included: WEEKS of delay in receving the intial proposal that was met with numerous excuses and reassurance everything was booked for our wedding (spolier: it never was), at one point the excuse was ownership changed so Kathy took her notes home, She called to verify some of our floral info which was pretty straightforward, She ignored the email of inspo pics, Kathy moved communication from the store's email to her personal email, the order was not a formal contract and never signed by either party even when I requested a signed copy (my lesson - should have pulled the plug here), a Square payment link that had a different business name attached, horrible spotty communication throughout all of this - I would have to email, call the store, and text Kathy numerous times for a response, once payment was made there was radio silence. Our wedding was 12 days away and we had not received any confirmation of our florals being ordered/prepared, my cooridnator was not able to get a response at all. Finally my MIL called the store and pressed for an answer (after they hung up on her and she called back) and they informed us the store had NO RECORD of my wedding, of our order, OR THE PAYMENT. The casually said maybe Kathy was doing the order on her own (not through the shop) which was never communicated to us and would not be allowed by our venue. We then sent an email requesting full refund given the order was never placed, no contract, etc and like MAGIC after 2 weeks of no answer - Kathy texted within 15 minutes. After some back and forth we were able to get a refund, which was the ONLY good part of this horrible experience that almost left us with no flowers for our wedding.

Lake Eola Florist is a florist I would never recommend…read more My husband, family, and friends have always ordered from In Bloom or Colonial Florist with wonderful experiences. This year for Valentine's Day, my husband decided to try Lake Eola Florist -- and it turned into a huge disappointment. On Friday, February 13, 2026, my husband ordered a bouquet of tulips (my favorite flowers), a Valentine's Day balloon, and delivery. The flowers were delivered after 5pm while I was at my son's baseball game. When we got home, he brought them inside -- the tulips were already wilted (and while tulips naturally droop some, these were clearly struggling), and the balloon was half-flat. Saturday and Sunday, the flowers still did not look good. We refreshed the water and left them on the dining table while we were away in Daytona for the races. By Tuesday, February 17th -- just four days later -- multiple blooms had completely fallen off and the arrangement looked worse than ever. I called the florist and was told I would receive a follow-up call or text. Two hours later, I received a text stating that "vase life is 5-7 days." However, today was only day four -- and that's stretching it considering the late delivery and the poor condition upon arrival. I sent photos and explained everything. I was told that because the arrangement was delivered days ago, I could not receive a refund -- but if I brought in a vase to the shop, I could receive a complimentary bouquet of roses. I do not like roses -- which is exactly why my husband ordered tulips. At that point, I still did not know the total cost. After speaking with my husband, I learned he paid $110 for the flowers, balloon, and delivery. For that price, I expect an arrangement from a higher-end florist to last longer than four days -- especially when it did not arrive in good condition to begin with. Asking me to bring in my own vase to pick up roses (that I do not even like) is not an acceptable solution. Customers work hard for their money, just like florists work hard on their arrangements. Quality and customer service should match the price point. Unfortunately, this experience was frustrating and disappointing. I highly recommend In Bloom or Colonial Florist instead -- they consistently provide beautiful arrangements and stand behind their product to keep customers happy and returning.

My husband surprised me with one of the most beautiful floral arrangement masterpieces I've ever…read morereceived for my birthday. I just had to know the details, so he shared how efficient, fairly priced, and unique the floral design was arranged by the owner Belkis Rodriguez! We have definitely found a gem! The picture doesn't do it any justice!
