I hate to leave this review, but for the benefit of other potential customers I really think I should. I've been here about five times for manicures. The last time I went a few weeks later I noticed my nail was discolored. Turns out it was nail fungus. I had to clip my nails off and apply nail fungus gel for about 3 weeks in order to get rid of it. It seems they don't (or didn't) sterilize their equipment. It's a shame because I really liked this place, but I just can't return for this reason. read more

Absolutely love this place I would never ever go to another nail place again with as many bad experiences as I've had in the past! Having my nails over filled, bad shaping, bad customer service, even got a bad infection from a place for a pedicure! This place is everything amazing super friendly, amazing customer service, so talented.... anything you want or ask for they can give you!! Straight up Pinterest nails! I read 2 reviews that were left about them not taking walk ins. Eric and Mike are THE ONLY 2 nail techs in the place they are a small family owned business with so many clients they are completely booked and full!! Which isn't a bad thing that shows how amazing they are with that many returning customers! I have to book at least 3-4 appointments at a time just to stay on their books and before I ever got in I had to wait an entire month but it was so worth it!! They are so worth the wait!!! read more

Being from LA, I've been to countless different nail salons in my life. Living in Willits, there's only so many nail salons to choose from. This salon, by Grocery Outlet, has new a owner. It's spotless clean, cozy, nice music, nice selection of polishes, and the gentleman that filled my nails was very professional. He met my requests for how I wanted my nails, perfectly. The other gentleman in this salon does beautiful nail art. He's an art major in college and he's good. If you bring in a pic of nail art you like, they can replicate it. Made an appointment for full set with designs and Eric did not disappoint! My stiletto was sharp and straight, never had stiletto this amazing and the nail design was so pretty nothing I would've imagined. Eric was so accommodating and sociable, I love how they speak English not like just leave you sitting in awkward silence. I will highly recommend to everyone of my friends! Jack does amazing nails & I am always happy with his work. His prices are reasonable and it's always easy to get an appointment when I call. There is a nice variety of services offered including 3 different types of manicures and pedicures for natural nails and several options for acrylic or gel nails. There is also a good selection of nail polish and gel colors to choose from. Jack has many options for nail design including seasonal choices and classic designs. I would highly recommend City Nails!! UPDATE 3/24/16: I didn't think that City Nails could get any better...but it has!! The new owners have definitely spruced the place up and expanded their salon services to include waxing. There are more pedicure chairs, more nail colors to choose from, and a clean, updated and inviting atmosphere. The quality of service is excellent and they are currently offering 20% off services $25+ through the end of April which is a huge bonus. If you haven't tried City Nails yet, I would highly recommend you stop by and give them a try...you wont be disappointed! read more

Clean and comfortable. This family run salon feels like a visit with neighbors, while you get a fabulous mani/pedi!

Although the people in this shop are very nice, the gel manicures we received were not so nice. My daughter and I wanted to get in together but each time I called they never seemed to have same day appts for two. The gel manicures looked nice but within a week one of my nails lost all polish, it just peeled right off. I also had to have s broken nail fixed with a tip and acrylic over it ( so It could grow out). The job that was done on my one finger with a tip and acrylic looked awful. Besides the color not matching up to the other nails, ( which I could live with) the acrylic was uneven and all over the side of my nail and cuticle. My nail looked huge and obviously fake, and I was embarrassed for anyone to see it. Less than 2 weeks later, ALL of my daughter's gel polish had lifted up and come off. Pretty frustrating to pay for a service just to feel like it was a waste of money. I know this place has good reviews but, for us, not so good :( read more
