They were great with my wiggly 20 month old son. The barber was very engaging with him and let him "help" by holding things like the comb and water spray bottle. He also let him feel the vibrations of the shaver to show him that it doesn't hurt and just tickles. Even giving this place one star is being generous. If only there was a a option for negative stars anyways...here's a example of why you should NEVER go to this place. So My boyfriend made an appointment hours BEFORE they were closing so I know they had time for him because it wasn't anywhere near closing time, yet when he got over there he even showed up 10 minutes early for his appointment. They had him wait then they told him that they were closed even though there was several other men in there getting their hair done they made him wait, only to kick him out and said that they were closed. It was probably the rudest thing I've ever heard someone do, and my boyfriend is a very sweet guy, so there was no reason for them to kick him out, especially because he had called ahead and made an appointment. I've never heard of something so rude, i was so upset when he told me. Therefore this is the Worst place ever, I don't suggest this place to anyone, don't waste your time. read more

I made an appt here. Appointments are needed under current guidelines. It was my first time here and Sal did an incredible job. I was a little specific and picky as I didn't know if I was getting a barber or a butcher but asked me several times what I eanted, how thick, and was very clear. After losing five pounds of hair, I feel renewed and fresh. Highly recommend SAL AND CHUEY. I'll be back here next time! read more

I rarely give 5 stars as you know , but I was very impressed by the skills , customer service and ten cleanliness of the shop. Chuy and his fellow barbers are highly professional and have a meticulous attention to detail when it comes to cutting hair, razor fades and beard trims and lineups. Coming into this town from Vegas , I was trying to look at everything and every place of business. When I walked in I didn't expect to see high quality cuts on par with LA and Vegas! I was able to see all types of people getting different cuts and some kids. Every person and child walked out with a flawless haircut. I WOULD BRING MY KIDS HERE. The line like in all hood barber shops can be long but it is worth the wait. I ended up getting an amazing trim and beard fade that my Barber in Vegas will applaud and be envious of. If I come back to the area I would mos def make the trip. Another good indication that they have a great barber shop is that this isn't a hang out for specific people and workers that makes customers feel excluded, they are about the business and providing top notch services. I can't stand going to some Barbershops and waiting double the time just so they can shoot the breeze and not make it an inclusive business.
