I had to list my place on Airbnb while I was out of the country and couldn't manage anything myself, which was quite nerve-wracking at first. From the moment I handed everything over to them, I felt completely at ease. Their communication was excellent, they handled every detail professionally, and they treated my home as if it were their own. What really blew me away was coming back to my place -- it was absolutely spotless, perfectly maintained, and in pristine condition. Not a single issue, no damage, nothing out of place. It honestly looked even better than when I left it! They took all the stress off my shoulders and delivered beyond expectations. If you're considering Airbnb management and want total peace of mind, this is the team you want. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again -- truly outstanding service!

Walking down Jarvis, I noticed this place while seeking low-budget accomodations while trying to…read morefind a cheap apartment as close to the centre of downtown as possible. Yes, the outside looks dated and, well, lived-in? However, the two guys behind the desk were very friendly after I explained what I was looking for. They gave me a key so I could check out the room, and for $205 a week, I was very surprised to find a partially furnished studio unit with private washroom. Anyone downtown knows how hard it is to find anything within a reasonable price that is actually private, so I was impressed. Unfortunately, I already rented a place for a couple weeks so I couldn't snap the particular room up, but the best plan is to phone ahead or stop by and see what's open. These kinds of accomodations are rapidly disappearing in downtown Toronto, and with many places like the YMCA no longer in the single-room occupancy (SRO) sector, the people staying at places like the Inglewood aren't your stereotypical nearly-homeless people...I saw a couple of students, blue collar workers, etc. I'll be back in two weeks to see if a space is still available.

PROPERTY OWNERS - BEWARE! Read all the reviews from property owners before you hire Guestable to…read morelook after your property - don't read the reviews from "guests" (very likely paid fake reviews). Any positive property owner reviews are from before 2019; everything since is a 1-star - Guestable has scammed people for years, so have no choice but to pay for hundreds of fake guest reviews so they look good on the surface. As a property management company, Guestable CANNOT BE TRUSTED to look after your investment. They don't care about anything except their own bottom line. They definitely don't care about the hardworking Canadians that are paying their wages. They will treat you - their customer - like fools! Guestable talks big but don't follow through with anything they say they'll do. Broken promise after broken promise. Lie after lie. Missed deadlines galore. As every owner has said, Guestable will just ignore you, the person paying them thousands of dollars each year. Their DISRESPECT starts with management. Top takeaways for property owners if you are thinking if hiring Guestable to manage your rental property: 1. Income - If you value the hard-earned money that you invested in a property, then you cannot be hands-off with Guestable. You will have to keep tabs on them daily, otherwise Guestable could "ROB YOU BLIND". They've done it to me and they've done it to other property owners I know. They will pocket fees from cancelled bookings with no explanation. They will "refund" guests, but never tell you why or show you proof of complaints. They will overcharge for repairs. They will tell you that claims are not being paid by Airbnb, but won't show you why the claim is disallowed. At the end of the day, you'll be lucky if you breakeven with Guestable managing your property. 2. They are incompetent - if you don't go with their high-priced stocking fee, your in-unit stock will likely go unfilled until the last minute, so then you'll have to pay higher prices from local convenience stores when guests complain and have to pay for their staff to go out and pick up the supplies. Repairs won't get done, so they will again 'refund guests' for inconvenience. They will not submit damage claims, so you're left replacing items. Everything these people touch turns to garbage. Your ROI? Ha! You might as well say goodbye to your hard-earned cash. 3. Guestable will refuse to deal with bad guests; even if they trash your place or is a nightmare in any other way, they will not leave a bad review or complain to Airbnb. Instead they'll probably give them a 'refund' and charge you (not the bad guest) extra to clean your condo. They are just incompetent and lazy. 4. Their cleaners are supposed to take photos and notify Guestable about damage or missing items, but often it isn't reported to owners. They just ignore it until another guest complains. And since they also don't submit claims for damage or missing items to Airbnb, so yet another hit to your so-called profit. So don't buy expensive items, because they won't be there once you've fired Guestable (likely to happen). And if you try to get answers from them.... as every other property owner has said.... the silence is deafening. 5. They put themselves as Host when setting up accounts - the listing for YOUR property won't belong to you, it will belong to Guestable. Only Guestable can make chances and see interactions with Airbnb and guests. You will have no rights to the listing and data once you decide to fire Guestable. So you'll have to start from scratch if you want to continue offering your property as a rental and will lose your stars and your reviews. They don't mention any of this when they sign you up. SUMMARY: If after reading this and all of the other property owners' reviews here and elsewhere on the internet and STILL decide to hire Guestable, then I can only surmise that you have zero self-esteem, you like being stonewalled and taken advantage of, and you have so much money that you don't care if your funds are misappropriated.

Louisa is magic…read more She's the Sales Manager at SW Hotel Toronto Airport. And. She. Is. Magic. Seriously. She may be my favorite Ontarian (not including my wife). Every interaction with her over the last few months has been amazing. She's kind, personable, clear about what's offered, honest about what's not, and helpful about assisting with anything (within reason) that she can help with. I was a little reticent to use SW Hotel when I first saw the place. From the outside, there's really not a whole lot going for it, because it used to be another hotel, which Sandman Hotels had purchased. Stepping inside, I was surprised to discover that the design and layout is drastically nicer than what the outside and parking lot would suggest. The rooms (I've stayed here multiple times now) are also nice, and include either a King-sized bed (in a bedroom, along with a convertible sofa bed in the living room area) or two Queen-sized beds (with a convertible sofa bed). All of the standard amenities are included (fridge, microwave, etc.) and the bathrooms (washrooms, whatever) are nice and clean as well. The pictures on some popular travel websites appear to be very dated compared to what I was offered during my stays. Also, many of the reviews (on some popular travel websites) are unfairly harsh and whiny. Louisa did mention that renovations are happening and they're tackling it floor by floor, which would suggest that certain floors may not be as modern and aesthetically up to date as others, but other than some design choices, everything is likely the same. I know the 9th floor isn't that great, but the 2nd, and 6th floors were nice. They have breakfast available. It's like... $6-7. I can't vouch for it. Even when it was made available to me, I didn't get a chance to eat it. All things considered, for the price ($80-100 depending on various factors), this is a very nice place. The excellent service that I've received from Louisa and team has only solidified my positive feelings about SW Hotel. I can only imagine that it will become nicer as the renovations continue. I was already a fan of SW Hotel before my interactions with Louisa. Now I'm bordering on becoming like an irrational Justin Bieber fan where SW Hotel can do no wrong. P. S. The pool and fitness center are pretty decent.
