They just want your commission and then they try and attack you for complaining. Danny called me personally to be upset he was being held accountable for not fixing the vacation and said he just books the tickets. If you book the tickets you should help the customer if they have an issue. He didn't even care. Money is all he cares about.

We booked a cruise to Alaska from September 20-27 with travel agent Bobbi-Jo Roback and it was a…read morenightmare. She took our deposit on February 17 and the balance was due on July 22. She did not send us anything to show that we have paid the deposit. She told us that we don't have to call her with our credit card to pay the deposit she will keep the card in file. July 22 came and nothing came out from our account. I called her on July 25 to find out what was going on. She gave me some lame excuses and she actually took the balance out. She did not send us an invoice nor the Booking number for 6 weeks. Two weeks before our cruise we had not heard from her. We tried calling her and leaving messages but she was not responding. We called the cruise line to find out if they had our booking. They asked us for our booking number and we told them the agent had not given it to us. They could not find our names in their system and that didn't look good. We called the cruise line the following day and pleaded with them to go through their bookings to see if they can help us. Fortunately someone was patient enough to go through their records and they found us. They were very helpful and they set us up and gave us all the information we needed. Bobbi-Jo was the worst and she never took responsibility nor made an apology. We will never book another trip with her or her company again.

For something that costs this much, I prefer to receive the rail pass in person instead of ordering it online. The travel agents were very cordial. I didn't have my passport with me during my first visit, so I was handed a form to fill out on my return. Once I returned with my passport and filled out form, they scanned my passport and verified the information on the form and provided a voucher for the Japan Rail Pass (it has to be exchanged for a pass in Japan). The travel agent provided addresses of various locations where the vouchers can be exchanged and also provided information about which lines the pass is not valid on. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. The travel agents were friendly and efficient.

I first want to say that if Trustpilot allowed less than a one star review on this site, I would…read morehave utilized that option. Lacure is a ZERO star company. We used La-cure to rent a villa at Las Palmilla. We signed a contract that promised us full access to "The One and Only," as well as Club 96, the kid's Club, beach club and new gym. We discovered that we would not have Club 96 access prior to our arrival, but were assured that all other services and access to the above mentioned facilities would remain unchanged (For example, I have emails and text exchanges assuring that we would still have full access to the One and Only.) Upon arrival, we discovered that we had no access to any of the promised amenities and locations that we paid a huge premium for 6 months prior. We could not use property of "The One and Only" which is the main reason we booked this Villa. We paid almost double what other Villas in the same community were going for without these promised perks. Our travel agent called Lacure repeatably and we tried to contact them as well. They couldn't care less about our situation because they were paid in full for our two week stay. They lied, stating that we never had this access even though they provided in writing that we did 6 months prior. It's been a month since we returned and I still haven't received my $5000 security deposit back. I wrote Olivia (who is worthless as a manager) and explained that I hadn't received this money back. Today instead of crediting me, THEY CHARGED another $5000 to my card! I know Lacure is going to give a standard, BS, canned response because businesses are instructed to do so after receiving horrid review. Something like, "I'm sorry you feel this way blah blah. Lacure made it clear that you didn't have this access, blah blah. We always strive to be the best blah blah" Don't believe a word of it. I have never written a bad review, but feel compelled to save anyone that is considering using this miserable, unethical, disaster of a company the grief that I endured.
