I paid my bill early every month for over 9 years. I set up auto payments on their website so I…read moredidn't have to remember to pay. When I canceled service on 10/13 they cut it off at 9 AM. Although I would have preferred it cut off in the afternoon since it was my move day and it surprised me that I couldn't put the AC on for the movers, I had no choice so that was fine, whatever. I saved $ not having to pay for more electricity. However, then they charged my account a late fee for the final bill even though I still had it set up in their system to pay my bills one day prior to their due date. I went on their website and deleted my bank account information right away. Then I contacted them via email and their employee (J.) told me he would refund my money in 6 weeks. He said I would get a check in the mail. I had a bad feeling that he was not going to follow through with it and I was right, unfortunately. The refund is $2.08. It is over 4 months later and I have contacted them half a dozen times since then. They have yet to refund my two dollars. This is extremely frustrating and disappointing. I cannot believe it is taking so long. At this point they really should provide a full refund with interest! Good news. There is a page of contact emails on their website that I found today. I had been emailing their general email but now I will email their top employees until I am given my money back that they stole!

For a while, it was appointment only at this particular office which was frustrating since I just started coming back here again during this time, and was not aware (I wouldn't have been on any email list regarding this either). This went on for a few months then finally I was told next time in person that they were back open as normal. Now you take a ticket (deli-style) but the wait isn't usually long at all. Plenty of seating, security in the corner, all good. Employees at the window have been nothing but friendly; I almost look forward to coming here since I've never had bad service. Once again, I will say I am just paying a bill, not trying to get service turned on or any other issue. Thanks LADWP Hollywood office!

Each time it's due I go and I never feel stupidly d when I ask questions about it. It's just nice to be around kind humans that can help a customer understand their bill. It's a clean office and security is helpful as we all know it can get cray outside but inside we are safe and sound. Very rarely there is a wait and we are lucky compared to other electric offices in town. Thank you everybody, see you every 2 months! Your Hollywood neighbor - Beau :)

27 days with no gas…read more.. On Aug 21st I reached out to SoCal Gas and told them that I thought we had a gas leak. On Friday Aug 23rd a plumber (Angel) came out and notified us that Francesca Inc. would need to send out a plumber with a pipe finder to locate all the gas lines. Finally on Monday Aug. 26 another plumber came and located all the gas lines and detected that there was in fact an actual gas leak in our house piping...keep in mind we didn't have any gas since the 21st. (no hot showers, no stove/oven, and we couldn't use our dryer... plus, there is 6 of us and a toddler living here.) I proceeded to call Francessca, and asked what the holdup is, and she then told us that they are waiting for a dig permit from the city. I called Francessca back again on Wednesday September 4th and I was told again that they are still waiting for the "dig permit". On Monday September 9th I proceeded to call Francessca again and was told yet again that they are still waiting on that "dig permit". I was starting to stress out due to the uncertainty of when we will get our gas back. The very next day I called Francessca again and she told me yet again that they are waiting for the "dig permit". Immediately after our conversation I called the city of West Covina and was told that nothing has been requested from Francessca Inc. So, I called Francessca again and spoke to Jordan and she said they were waiting on 811 dig alert, not the city...So I called 811 dig alert and they gave me a ticket number and was issued right away. I started to feel a bit better, maybe this will finally get resolved since we are on day 21 of not having any gas. I decided to call Francessca back and again was told they are waiting for the permit from the city, yet again I called the city and was told the same thing...that they have not received anything from Francessca Inc. and nothing has been requested. I'm starting to get a little frustrated with the back and forth and no one really knowing what's going on. I called Francessca back again, for the 4th time today and I spoke with Jordan again and let her know what I was told by the city, She then tells me I must have called the wrong department. I decided to give it a rest and try again tomorrow. On the 11th I called Francessca Inc. and Jordan she told me "let me talk to my crew and see what I can do". A day later Jordan from Francessca Inc. said they will be sending a plumber out Monday Sept. 16. This is now 27 days without gas... Finally, the plumbers came out that Monday from 10:30-6 and just replaced part of the pipe. No city Inspector ever came. It was a headache all these so-called "permits" we needed and all that waiting when it could have been resolved within a day or two. I'm very disappointed in the way this was all handled. Thankfully the plumbers were very nice. The gas man Kenny came out that same day to check the pipes and to turn the gas on...He was awesome and very respectful. He also told us that he's never heard of something like this taking so long. I'm still upset with the way this was all handled. I understand that mistakes happen, but this was ridiculous. I hope big companies like this can learn from this and be better.

I needed to move & was very concerned about my credit score. So although I had applied for…read moreassistance to pay my gas bill - because no one ever responded to me or let me know that they would help me - I borrowed money to keep my account in good standing. Months later the assistance kicked in & I ended up with a credit balance remaining of $308.98. After I moved I called to let them know where to send my refund & the arrogant girl on the phone told me that because I was a charity case that there would be no refund. I thought it was merely an inability to communicate effectively, so I wrote them a letter explaining the situation - including a spreadsheet for reference & some guy, A Fransisco, who apparently does not comprehend English very well either - wrote me back a letter defending the girl who called my account charity. He missed my refund query entirely. Now I still have to pay that money back & the Gas Co gets to keep my $308.98. How is this even possible? I should report to the governing entity - which will be my next step. It's already been a year!
