I went here before my travels round the world, as they were the only people in Birmingham to provide various jabs e.g. Rabies, Japanese Encephalitis etc. It was kind of weird, as it felt a bit like a hotel rather than a surgery. I suppose its partly as it's a private clinic rather than NHS, so you're paying for the service. Everything was very modern-looking, clean and new.
The nurse who gave me the jabs was very nice - her consulting room was enormous. She was very thorough and made me wait around in reception for 10 mins afterwards justin case I had any weird adverse reactions to the jabs. Which I didn't, fortunately.
They weren't too on-the-ball in terms of administration as I had to wait for ages in reception, then the girl couldn't find my appointment, and I'd already had to rearrange it previously due to their administrative error. That said, the actual healthcare I received was good, and it was an interesting experience visiting a private clinic. read more
