This review is solely for the parking attendant on shift November 30th at 10pm.
We usually love to park here while we attend shows at the 5th Avenue Theater. We usually zip out of there and are quickly on our way. Today was a different story. One of the two pay booths were closed, which happens. However, we did not know this. We pulled up to the empty pay booth, and the attendant at the other booth YELLED at us "DID YOU NOT SEE THE CONES?" My dad responded, "oh, is it broken?" And she responded "THATS WHY THAT PAPER IS THERE! NOW YOU HAVE TO WAIT FOR ALL THESE PEOPLE TO GO" gesturing to the line she was helping. We assumed this meant she would let a certain number of people go, help us, and let us on our way. My dad pulled forward towards her to wait, and she again, yelled "YOU HAVE TO BACK UP AND GET BACK IN LINE".
She didn't communicate this to us, but seemed fed up that we weren't doing what she wanted us to. It was our mistake that we didn't notice the cones, but I think that the fact that we could drive past the cones without noticing demonstrates the poor placement of them. After we finally backed up and re-entered the line, we noticed her yelling at yet another customer in front of us.
I understand that this is a late shift and it must be stressful to have a lane closed, but it is still unacceptable be rude. Especially at such a high class establishment we expect to be treated, at the minimum, politely. read more
