My train sat at the Jesup station for 15 mins I don't know why and I figured shoot I'll just catch a Uber/Lyft from here and get to the hotel by the time we pull into Savannah. I was hangry and tired so I hoped off...no Uber/Lyft available in the area lmao! Called the first cab on Yelp for the Jesup area, as I plugged my cell phone inside the waiting area, and walked one little loop around the station I noticed a vehicle pulling up no one was around and low and behold it was my cab driver. Very fast! We made it to my hotel in a timely manner and the only ding is they are more expensive then a Uber/Lyft would've been from Savannah but hey at least they were available in the small town of Jesup when I needed them.

It is worth mentioning that it is almost impossible to get any other service out in this area. They have a monopoly on the transportation market yet still aim to accommodate. Drivers are friendly too. This is the only service I use to get around in this area.

How can this be when the Savanah Airport Information Center also told me the price would be $85. The Polite Shuttle employee wanted me to commit to the ride and pay for it in advance. This obviously wouldn't leave me time to comparison shop. I ended up taking an Uber to the airport and the cost was $81. Talk about trying to take advantage...it is six days later and I'm still disgusted!

The day before our final pickup, I called to confirm. No answer. I left a message. The day we were supposed to be picked up. No one showed. I called. The guy answered and had clearly forgot about us. Said he'd send someone. Twenty min after pickup time, I called again. He said it would be another 20 min for someone to get there. After about ten more minutes, he called me back and said he had a flat. It was now 40 min after we were supposed to be picked up. I called someone else for a ride.
