I wish I could give them zero stars. The dispatcher was extremely rude, went off on a tangent on the phone with me. I called to schedule a cab to the airport a day in advance. The purpose of this was to make sure I'd arrive on schedule. The driver was half an hour late. when I got into the car, she informed me that we were going to the courthouse first to drop another person in the cab off. I asked her if we could stop at the airport first since it was closer than the courthouse... of course, she said no & was very rude about it. Her driving was also horrible, and nervewracking. Another issue I'd like to note is that the cab smelled like cigarette smoke. When I returned from my trip I decided to get an Uber instead of calling City Cab again. The Uber driver was friendly, professional, in a clean vehicle & was a great driver. I'm getting an Uber from now on. read more

Called for a cab for mother and I waited over 45 minutes, when i called the first time to check how long dispatch said "you just called a few minutes ago they'll get there when they get there", second call i was rudely told by dispatch "you will not talk to me that way" which i was being very polite then also informed me that" i already cancelled the call myself" then hung up on me. The final time i called back i attempted to explain how my mother was in the fourth stage of COPD and was having trouble breathing that we desperately needed a cab. Just call a cab for my sister in law who doesn't speak English. The lady told me that she will have to call herself and hung up. I call back to tell, she said she doesn't care and hung again. I have to leave work to go get her. Never again. I will download uber on her phone. read more

I called these people for a ride to work. They showed up 40 minutes later with two other fares, car reeking of marijuana and proceeded on taking me on a tour of Lafayette before actually getting me to work. I called the LPD and reported the driver for DUI but if you can avoid this comapny i would strongly suggest it. read more

Called for a cab. Waited 20 minutes. Called again. Waited twenty minutes. Called again. Each time, I was told that the cab was pulling onto my street. I live five minutes to the south of downtown; five minutes north of the airport. This is just after 9am -- there's no traffic issues, nobody's sleeping. A neighbor took my friend to the airport. Terrible. If I could give it less than 1 star I would. We just waited for an hour and watched the cab driver, drive past the road 3 times. We then went outside to wait after calling the dispatcher back three times. Then when he finally drove up, he has the nerve to say he had been by the house waiting all this time. Liar. If you're waiting outside the house, honk the damn horn. My friend has been a customer of this cab company for over 30 years. Sad. read more

This was in Sept of 2019, and I'm only reminded of this just now. Don't ask. Anyway, we only have one car and my husband was out of town. I needed to go to the grocery and grab something quick really quick, and while I hate taking cabs, I didn't want to bother anyone as it was evening and was kind of stuck. The grocery is exactly 2 miles from our place. I called them and relayed that to a dispatcher who sounded like she would have more fun working at the DMV. All she said was, they'll be there in about twenty minutes. Cool. The cab picked me up, took me to the store, waited the 3 minutes it took me to get what I needed, brought me home...THEN CHARGED ME $40. My mouth hit the floor! Now, I've called them before, but it only cost like $9. I tend to do most things in cash, so that's what I was prepared for. I had plenty for the normal $9 and a tip, because I never not tip, but I didn't have 40 freaking dollars! The driver then acted like I lied about not knowing it would be so much, then called dispatch who confirmed $40, but no one told me when I called them it would be that cost! Otherwise, I would never have used their service! I mean $40 dollars to go a total of 4 MILES? Seriously? I ended up having to borrow money from my elderly neighbor. I mean, we paid her back, but do you know how awful it is to have to beg for money for a racket like that? What? Did I not tip enough before when I gave $5 on $9 fairs so y'all tried to get extra out of me? I seriously felt like I was being worked in a con. And, I'm not entirely certain it isn't a con considering they have no website. Do yourselves a favor and never call these people. read more

I called for the cab and dispatch said 30-35 minutes.... after an hour past i called to check on the cab dispatch was very rude. Said the cap should be there any seconds. I wait 20 mins call back..... this happens over and over with me getting up hung up on. After 2 hours i tell them to cancel the cab and called a different company. Very rude, Horrible experience ... The guy that answers the phone acts like he hates that you are alive. WHEN AND IF you get a cab, the interior smells and looks like two male cats fought and spilled an ashtray in the process. High fives to the drivers though, they've all been very cool. read more
