    Everything bagel breakfast sandwich

Found this coffee spot on our way through WY. Sunday about 10am. We went through the drive thru because it was December and way too cold to get out of the car! Lol! There were about 3 other cars in front of us when we arrived which meant we were right at the speaker. We ordered a small watermelon cucumber mint refresher, a large caramel frappe, a hot caramel macchiato and 3 everything bagel breakfast sandwiches. $41.38 Service was fast and friendly. Drive thru seemed to stay busy. My daughter's refresher was very refreshing!! She regretted not getting a large! (They also have a strawberry acai refresher that you might want to try) The bagel sandwiches seemed fresh to me. I don't know if they are prepackaged since I didn't see them making them but I would bet they are fresh from the taste. My husband said his macchiato was a little milky but I enjoyed my caramel frappe. Another great roadtrip find!!

After reading AnnaLee H's review on the Samoa drink here, I knew that I had to stop by this place in the morning for my drive. I don't typically get the foo-foo coffee drinks; usually it's just a cup of drip coffee for me - but the Samoa sounded awesome! When I got there, I did not see the Samoa listed on the posted menu - - so I just went w my usual cup of drip. But my temptation gave in, and I also picked up one of the good-looking 7 Layer bars. (I'll get my coconut fix somehow.) I asked the barista (afterwards) about the Samoa drink, and she said they still make it - it's just not posted. Oh well... Anyway... off on the road, the coffee was piping HOT, very good... and the 7 Layer bar was scrumptious. The drive-thru line was busy, and there was alot lots of other patrons inside. Must be the Gillette morning spot...

Plenty staff; maybe too many... seemed to be a little confusion with protocol for announcement of completed orders.

My husband and I are sort of fancy coffee snobs, and we were not disappointed coming here and getting the Samoa drink blended.

Mountain Mudd Espresso is now inside the Clarion hotel and has a drive up window. We were staying…read moreat the Clarion and went down each morning for a Hot Chocolate for my wife and a Mocha Mudd for me. We both like them better than other better known coffee shops, which are a bit too sweet for me. They also had breakfast burritos (oddly prevalent in this area) and pastries. While the breakfast burritos were decent the pastries were awesome! Now that I'm writing this I wish I had brought one of their menus home with me because I can't remember which pastry we tried. Well, just try them all! This is a chain but we'll stop at one if we ever happen to run across one again.

Now I go there because I love the coffee and the assortment of flavors AND the owner is very personable. She remembers you even if you have only been there once before. Not your name, but that you were in before. Some people order the same thing every time, so if you go to the drive up, I have seen her making the drink before the customer even gets to the window and already has it so the customer just pays and goes on their way! They also have flip flops for sale, and mugs and other unique items. Stop in and see! the chili in the winter is good too for lunch. We are moving to Denver, and there is not one in Denver, so will have to come to Gillette every chance we head this direction.
