Heard the ice cream was good, so we stopped by to try it. On the street you can smell the waffle cones. An amazing smell! Busy place, but they kept people moving in good time. Each of us enjoyed our ice cream! Blackberry/ black raspberry (can't remember) was really good! Waffle cones are good as well. Bathroom is cute- looks like it's ice cream with sprinkles. Map in the wall is fun- to put a pin where you live. read more

The first time here for our group of six. Best ice cream we ever tasted. Others said ice cream in freshly made. Every flavor had a creamy taste. Our variety of cones and cups were a treat. Employees were pleasant and quick to help us; there was a line of customers. Lots of cozy seating. The tables and floor were clean. Best if all the price of a cone with two scoups was only $6. They also sell flavored ice cream. read more

The Ice Cream Cafe - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Gillette, Wyoming

Driving through Gillette on I-90, Yelpers said this was the best locally made ice cream, and you were right! Nice shop with lots of choices, located right in town with plenty of street parking. More importantly - the treats! The sweet smell of fresh Waffle cones welcomes you as you walk in. They are well made - crispy but not dry. Ice Cream Cafe makes small batch ice cream full of flavor with creamy consistency. Twenty four (24!) flavors available at the same time. I had the Strawberry Rhubarb (yum!) and Vanilla (tasty & creamy) in a Waffle Cone, my brother had Salted Caramel (referred to it as the best). It was hard to choose, so I had tasters of the huckleberry and the chocolate, too. I almost got another serving - it's that good. Scoops are decent sized for the price. Service was friendly and helpful, even with a busy line. They also sell ice cream cakes and ice cream sandwiches with a variety of homemade cookies. Pints or quarts available if you want to scarf down in privacy. I would eat here weekly (at least) if I lived in Gillette, and would get off 90 to stop on the way through next time. Give it a try - you'll be very happy you did. read more

What an absolutely adorable treat to find in Downtown Historic Gillette, Wyoming. They have a gorgeous display of their beautiful ice creams. They allowed us to sample and I chose the Honey Lavender and Nutty Cherry. We'll be here on a travel nursing contract until almost January and I can say with certainty that we will be visiting regularly. read more

Quaint and always friendly. Homemade ice cram at it's finest. They always have new flavors to try and all kinds of cones. We like to treat ourselves once in a while and this cute ice cream shop is the perfect place to do just that. They're located right downtown, have plenty of seating inside and a couple small tables outside, too. Put your phone number in on the app/device at the counter and get automatically signed up for great deals via text. They used to have a punch card, but not sure if they still do, the app/text may have replaced that. read more

For a ice cream shop I didn't expect such high prices. Place is cute . Can be a little frustrating when your server is a teen more worried about their friends than taking your order. Easier to go to Albertsons and grab a container of ice cream than deal with the overpriced frustration read more

Best ice cream in town that's for sure. They have a lot of options they offer free samples and overall the ice cream just taste really good.

After a long search, we've finally found an ice cream shop to rival Moomer's in Traverse City, MI. Wow!

Homemade. Interesting flavors. Homemade waffle cones. 15% milk fat ice cream. Best ice cream in town. This is seriously good ice cream, with some very diverse flavors. They also make some good lunches, I've heard, including some kind of concoction involving savory waffle cones, which sounds like something that I have to try. The ice cream is so smooth and delicious. I especially love the mexican chocolate. read more

I love supporting local small businesses! You cannot go wrong with a scoop or two! So many delicious flavors. There's nothing like the smell of fresh waffle cones, and you can get amazing ice cream cakes here. Friendly smiling staff with great customer service. read more

Stopped in for dessert. I am a huge ice cream lover. I did the standard two scoop cup - Coconut Pie and Mud Pie - good combo tasted like German chocolate cake. Very creamy and delicious with chunks of crust and cookie. Glad I stopped in. read more

Such good ice cream! We have been coming here every week since we found it. Their ice cream flavors are unique and delicious and their homemade waffle cones are perfection. We love their coconut pie ice cream! Their staff could be friendlier...they are not very interested in interacting with customers, but the ice cream makes up for all of that. Definitely worth the $6 you will spend on an ice cream cone ;) read more

Amazing ice cream ! We stopped on a eight hour road trip and liked it much better then Dairy Queen.

Ice cream is great, just don't try swapping flavors in the sundaes. You will be met with a resolute "we can't do that". Odd situation, as they make the sundae in front of you. Anyway, at least the ice cream is tasty. read more

One word: Yum! My fave place to go for ice cream. They even make their waffle cones! read more

In the area for work and just happened to see this place in a strip mall going down the street. They have a good selection of flavors as well as different cones to choose from. My friend got the vanilla malt, and I had a double scoop of black raspberry and toffee. They were out of this world. The ice cream has an awesome texture and tons of flavor. The folks that work the counter were real friendly and helpful too. I'm not saying I'd drive 1200 miles from home just to come get a scoop but if I were in Wyoming again I would try and make it back over here. read more
