I don't know why this Starbucks has such a hard time understanding when I want dairy free milk, and I order dairy free milk it's because I have a dairy allergy not because I'm trying to be hip or trendy. the last three times I've been here I've specifically ordered oat milk or soy milk in my drink and I have received it with real milk. it's extra annoying because they charge you nearly a dollar more for non dairy milk too. I was a loyal customer to this store but now that there's other Starbucks locations in town, I will be choosing them. hopefully, I will not be getting sick when I order a coffee from them! read more

Drinks are fine. Friendly staff. However, the drive through is always crazy busy and excruciatingly slow, with the line backing up into the street at times. Don't even try to go inside either, the parking is horrible. Gillette needs another Starbucks besides this one and the crappy little one in Albertsons. read more

Great customer service here. My mobile orders or drive orders have always been fast in the morning. I walked in one to order and Tessa was took my order. Parking outside is next to impossible, only one way in, not many spaces. Fairly clean inside, bathroom was also clean. Extremely busy, waited in line forever just to order. Waited forever again for a latte, nothing complicated. I hate to give them 2 stars for such slow service but I have been to tons of Starbucks and somehow it is possible to be busy and fast at the same time.... Don't go here unless you are planning on hanging out for a significant amount of time. Or maybe try to catch them when they are not busy (I was here at like 10:00 on a Tuesday). read more

Can be very difficult to find parking. And at times the line is super long and excessively slow. However, the employees are good and if they make a mistake they fix it pretty quick with no hassle. I like the breakfast options they have besides bagels. Though bagels are pretty good too. read more

I come from the home of Starbucks, and when I am there I avoid Starbucks if there is another good option. However, midway through our drive time and being in Gillette... I was just looking for a 'bux. A welcome respite on our roadtrip. We hit up this stop on an exceptionally exhausting day of driving. I was about to take over my shift of driving, and I was in serious need of some caffeination to complete this day on our road trip. There was nothing special about this Starbucks, but they were pleasant and efficient. Bonus: we had a Starbucks gift card we got as a going away gift before we moved so it was free. read more

I've lived in Gillette for 9 years and have gone into this Starbucks dozens of times. I took my 2 year old in with me today for a beverage and a cookie. After choosing the least dirty table I could find, I started looking around and noticed the place is filthy! Every single surface had sticky fingerprints and other misc residue. Then I tried the sugar cookie my son was eating after he ate half of it. It tasted like it had been kicked under the counter, left for 6 months, swept out and put back in the dessert case. I had to go home and brush my teeth to get the taste out of my mouth. Starbucks is not as nice as it used to be. So disappointing. read more

Worst Starbucks I've ever been to! Rude, snotty employees, when they mess up and have to fix it they throw a fit. I keep trying to give them chances and they fail every time. We stopped here to use the restroom-- which was very clean-- and the staff here was absolutely delightful! Laci had the best customer service, and was so friendly. I was back and forth on my order because I had never tried the drink before, and she offered me a free sample to make sure I liked it. I highly recommend this location! read more

Stopped for coffee and no cream, milk or low fat out. Now you have to go back up to counter & ask for it. Was told if I brought it back up, they would be happy to add some. What??? I feel like I have to give a 5 star review. Why you ask? Well a couple of reasons, first the staff and second the staff. To me it doesn't matter what the inside looks like, the price of the coffee or the lack of parking outside. What matters is the coffee tastes good and the people constructing that wonderful cup of coffee do it with a smile and some of them even remember your name. And no I don't go there but maybe once a week or less. Keep up the good work! read more

Ohh Starbucks... how I hate to like you. I've always tried to be someone who helps out the little guy and it's basically the entire reason I Yelp, I always want to be on the lookout for local food, culture, and interestings things to do. If i'm on the road I don't want to hit up the chains on my way through, I want to find the best local spot to go and Starbucks definately does not fit that MO. But, for some odd reason, Starbucks has mastered the art of feeling like the little guy but actually being the great big 800lb gorilla in town. This Starbucks has the same Starbucksy theme going on as every other Starbucks, comfy chairs to sit in with coffee tables in front of them that make you feel at home, a fireplace going like my living room, a staff that's always pretty friendly, and coffee that you know what it's going to taste like. But that's just it, EVERY Starbucks is like this, they have got this down to a science and it pisses me off, well actually I like it, but it pisses me off that I like it. I dont' want to like it, I want to hate it, I want to stand out front with a picket sign telling everyone to go to Brothers Coffee downtown but I just can't help myself, it's a curse. This star bucks has friendly staff but the interior does not promote intimate talk and lap top time like most star bucks. It's pretty much as b-line for the register with all seats taken by rv-ing family groups. read more

The Starbucks here is a mixed bag. The coffee is made in textbook starbucks style, which means competence, but nothing really outstanding or unique (it is a chain, after all, and is like this everywhere). I never venture outside the bounds of an Americano or the rare chai, so I'm never disappointed by my drink. The store itself is a different story. On the one hand, sitting inside on a comfy chair when it's not crowded can be relaxing enough, and it offers the chance to strike up a conversation with summer tourists passing through, not a few of whom are Europeans (ah, those lovely Germans, always talking in hushed tones with serious expressions). On the other hand, two walls of windows can leave you sweltering, and the truly shocking number of flies buzzing around is kind of gross. Plus I usually find the staff unprofessional. Horrible, waited forever for drinks then after 10 mins barista says oh I made it but forgot to give to you... She should have offered to remake it. After along road trip we wanted some refreshment. I'm not even sure it has coffee in it. Sadly the coffee is always lacking away from the Pacific Northwest. Maybe the Cowboys are better out here.... The one and only Starbucks in Gillette, WY has the worst parking for customers. Starbucks is in the same small building with two other businesses. So all of the employees park where customers are supposed to park. In turn, there's no parking, or very little parking left for customers. It really sucks. Starbucks should really consider putting another business in another part of town. For instance, on the West end of town near the new McDonald's restaurant, but do not share the same parking lot.
