I passed my very first time around with Abdul. He is a wonderful instructor, he pushes you to do your very best and he is very flexible with time changes. I had my rode test this morning and passed. ZERO STARS. Please go anywhere but here. Abdul is the most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with. My parents bought my brother 8 lessons w/ road test. The 2nd and 3rd lessons were cancelled and he gave a reschedule date but then on the day of the rescheduled lesson, said that we have the dates wrong. I finally called him and asked him about the next lesson, and to please send me a text so that I have the time/date confirmed by him. He said he would have to cancel all remaining lessons to schedule that one. IT MAKES NO SENSE. Sure, cancel them I said and talk to my parents during the next lesson and schedule the remaining lessons in YOUR writing. He then said he took 2 more lessons than he already did (he's shady af and the rest of the reviews show we weren't the only ones). During my call with him he yelled using profanities, and I kindly asked him not to and that he was being unprofessional and there was no reason for him to be disrespectful. Trying to reason with him is like trying to reason with a 2 year old throwing a temper tantrum. He is very unreasonable. He only gave my brother 4 lessons total, did not offer a refund for the remaining 4. He is a money hungry thief. All he cares about is money. I don't mind money hungry but he runs a terrible business and comes with a POOR attitude. My brother took his road test this morning, he picked him up but then my mom had to go pick him up from a very random location. He apparently was too busy and had another lesson to go to. I have never heard of this. Usually you will get picked up and dropped off. He is money hungry and very rude. He will take your money and tell you that you took 4 lessons already when you only had one. He will suggest you don't need more lessons and are ready for the road test just to take on more students and do the same to them. WORST BUSINESS I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. Don't waste your money here!! Abdul is the worst!! Like all the other reviews are saying he's money hungry. Spent almost $300 on just 2 lessons just for him to not teach me anything. Coming into this i told him I never parallel parked before so that was completely new to me. So when it came down to it he was on his phone trying to show me videos of other students while I'm trying to concentrate on driving didn't really give me any instruction on how to parallel park just kinda made me do it even though I had no idea how to do it. Seriously a driving instructor just on his phone the entire time and not really paying much attention to me or giving me good advice just kept criticizing me instead of giving me good constructive criticism. Even tried to tell me if I couldn't parallel park I would be walking home. Then tired to get me to sign up for more lessons. Like no thanks not with you I won't. I walked into this with some confidence that I could do this but left feeling shitty and irritated. Again do not go here and waste your money you are better off going somewhere else I promise you on that. read more

If I could give this company zero stars I would. The first conversation with whoever is in charge consisted of me figuring out the best option for me and pricing. Once that was done I was told there was an opening for Sunday and to give him a call back when I had everything situated. When I did, I was told the spot was given to someone else and I got a later sport. I took it none the less and was told to call the day of the appointment 30 minutes before. When I did I was unable to get in contact with anyone. Over two hours later I received a call telling me their phone was not working and asking when I was available. Its been a few years now since I've taken my driving lessons with City A1 driving, but it is an 'experience' I will never forget. My first class was with Abdul and it was my first time behind the wheel. He had me driving down Niagara street by ferry, which is a really busy intersection. He kept turning around in his seat and rummaging around in the back seat. He was on his phone for most of the session and would direct me to turn down side streets at the last minute and half the time the street he was telling me to turn down were one way's going the opposite way. He grabbed my wrist and squeezed it hard and told me to loosen up. I told him he was making me a nervous wreck and I didn't appreciate his 'instruction'. He asked "would you rather have a FEMALE instructor?" I said "anybody but you." For the rest of my lessons I had this nasty little old woman who's name I can't recall, who just screamed at me through every lesson. I dreaded taking my lessons with her. I was so glad once my lessons were over and I got my license. Come to find out afterwards though, Abdul used to live across the street from my grandmother. He was backing out of his driveway one day and hit my grandma's vehicle. Then he tried to leave but was stopped by the neighbors. He was yelling at them "I'm a driving instructor! I don't hit cars!" then called his insurance to tell them that a crazy old lady was going to call to submit a false claim. When I saw the original location closed down I prayed they were out of business, only to realize they had only moved. I can't say if they have gotten better since this time (this was about 11 years ago), but its something that I will NEVER forget. read more

HORRIBLE What a waste of money. Paid for 8 lessons, turns out one lesson is the test itself and another takes place right before the test (which he neglected to tell me so I had to skip a college class to attend it) He is such a terrible teacher. For all of my lessons he was either late by 30 min or didn't show up. I called him and he says he "forgot", all of those times he didn't show up. Twice, he didn't show up and after 30 min I called him, he told me someone else was going to teach me. I had no idea who this person was and it was so poorly organized. He only cares about the money, and is absolutely greedy. What kind of business is this. I hope it closes immediately. TL;DR College students and adults, don't waste your money here. read more

I was driving down Niagara Falls Blvd. behind one of their cars, the only occupant was an employee. It was travelling at 20mph in a 40mph zone, swerving while in the passing lane. Of course, there was a reason - the person operating the vehicle who is supposed to be a driving instructor was texting. Way to go! read more

Do yourself a HUGE favor and stay away from this guy. I am an experienced driver and he even messed everything up for me! You can barely understand half the things he is saying and he left me hanging and made me miss the opportunity to get a vehicle for my road test! I took one driving lesson with the instructor, it was horrible. He was putting his hands on the wheel while I was turning saying he wants me to turn EXACTLY like him. He gave no feedback at all he kept saying, "how is it, good ?". Ok, so the day of my road test which was for 2:00 PM, he was suppose to show up at 1:00 PM for my pre-lesson. I called him at 12:50 to make sure he was on his way. He said he would be there 1:00 PM on the dot. At 1:30 PM he called me and said he was outside, like nothing ever happened. I came downstairs to tell him I won't take my road test because he came so late I couldn't even practice. He started yelling and yes SCREAMING at me forcing me to still go take the road test, and it's nothing wrong with being late. I was in utter shock at the level of unprofessionalism exhibited. I already gave him $100 prior to the first lesson, I was so not interested in ever working with this company again I told him he can keep that money, I'm going somewhere else. The school is ran by just ONE PERSON which is him by the way, so much for a business right. read more
