Stopped in for a business lunch. The staff was friendly and explained to us the flow of ordering at the counter, grab a seat and they will bring food. I had read on another review about the Chinese food and assumed it was wrong info but nope! It's both Italian food and Chinese food. There was daily specials, a huge menu, pizza, pasta, all the things. I read on their website their Meatball sub was voted #3 on sandwiches to eat in NE so had to go with that. Switched out my side for a salad with house dressing that was so good. The meatball sub unfortunately didn't live up to the hype for me. It was ok but not great. The salad was delish and my friends pizza was massive so all and all we had a great experience. I would go back to try the Chinese since it's a unique choice. Really comfortable seating inside is half tiny pizza spot with booths and half old comfy bar. So choose your adventure from Italian to Chinese and diner to bar ;) read more

The service was amazing. The restaurant was also very clean. I did think the price was a little steep $25 for a Reuben fries and a small drink. The sweet potato fries were excellently cooked and very flavorful, but the Reuben was a little lacking. The sauerkraut didn't have much flavor and it didn't have much sauce. read more

Big portions, big prices! Nice ambiance, but very limited deli. They boast they have a deli and have all kinds of Italian specials..but they don't. They pretty much have a giant piece of cheese and a little bit of salami, that's it for the deli part of the business. read more

In town to visit mom and back to this place, which has easily attained the "best restaurant in McCook" title. A great dining room and bar area. We sat at the bar, ordered take out, had a cocktail and engaged with some of our fellow patrons, but especially the bartender. Cool guy, very helpful. In fact everyone there was very helpful. I wish they'd stay open a little later though (they close at 8pm during the week). Maybe just even the bar area. There aren't too many nicer bars in McCook and this could be a good one to have a cocktail after 8pm. But I'm sure there's a good reason. As I said, best restaurant in McCook currently. read more

Yesterday I Placed an order for pick up , but I had a problem and wouldn't be able to pick it up ,so I literally called 2 min after to cancel the order. This is my third time visiting McCook, and my friend who lives here told me that Citta' deli is a must try restaurant here in town. Like most people, I love Italian food, so I was really excited to try it out! We ordered food to-go for five of us. Service was friendly and quick. We all loved our meals. I got the veggie pesto flatbread. The pesto sauce was seasoned excellently. The vegetables on my flatbread were perfectly cooked. Citta' Deli is one of our favorite places to eat and also to meet friends for "Happy Hour". They have a good selection of beers on tap and their house wine is great. Service is always good and the owners stop by tables to see that everyone is satisfied - great young couple that work very hard to make their restaurant/bar a success. Their prime rib is fabulous - they have fish and pasta specials that are really good too. read more
