One new renter was stunned when Micaela, violating my privacy as well as committing defamation of character, told the young man to "Be wary of Deborah." This individual has assured me of his willingness to testify in court.
One of Micaela's favorite ploys, when exposed, is to slap an addendum to the lease. She has been informed that she is going to be subpoenaed into court, hence the addendum, another self-protective behavior.
The recent addendum is, quite obviously, Micaela taking "pot shots" at me, and clearly yet another act of retaliation.
On file are emails directly accusing me, without any reason whatsoever, of matters of which I am innocent.
In emails to me, with her own words, Micaela attempts to restrict my right to freedom of speech and expression.
The latest addendum includes (presumably a veiled threat) pertaining to written statements from residents.
As Micaela very well knows, she has previously incited another resident against me, who has agreed to testify. We expect more of same.
The best thing about living at Slum-mer Creek? That after you leave (escape) this place you'll never be homesick. There's nothing here to miss!!
Even our mailman says that he often hears complaints about staff from residents, and that the complex looks "really junky" now. It certainly does, many porches and patios look like junkyards, mops, brooms, buckets, and dirty shoes on display, discarded items on balconies, sagging, unpainted, dilapidated fencing, still no gates to cover the unsightly dumpsters, nearly everywhere one looks is ugliness.
I will be editing to add screenshots of several very odd emails from our so-called "management." When confronted Micaela frequently plays "Offense is the best defense." Micaela's insecure and immature attempts to "have the last word" are, as always, truly pathetic. Another reviewer has posted of her experience.
Retaliation and amusing, cowardly tactics are the norm.
There are often emails to residents regarding parking in someone else's carport. A few evenings ago, I noted that Micaela parked in a carport, and as she walked by me, greeted me. In an email the following day, she stated that it was "indeed" she calling out to me. At no time have any of us been advised that parking in another's covered space is permissible even with the resident's consent.
In violation of the law, Micaela is often observed driving while holding a cell phone in one hand, eyes on the phone, and steering with the other hand.
I sincerely believe that the reason Micaela and Felix stay on despite being so thoroughly disliked by so many, is that their bad reviews would follow them, and it's said that they probably can't get a job anywhere else.
Two women have stated that they were extremely uncomfortable with Felix' inappropriate, ongoing attention. One posted of her own experience, similar to mine, in a Google review, and both women have ended their tenancy.
I contacted an attorney regarding Felix' unwanted and inappropriate attention to me. The attorney first used the term "stalking," defined stalking behaviors, and confirmed that I was definitely being stalked.
I purchased a security device, a metal rod, to shove under my front door knob at night.
Upon learning of this security device, Felix said, verbatim, "I can STILL get in." This was said while a neighbor was standing nearby.
Think about this: The only way I can wedge the rod under the doorknob IS FROM THE INSIDE OF MY APARTMENT. Felix' meaning was abundantly clear.
In the case of stalking, there is no statute of limitations.
Many of us dismiss Micaela's and Felix' questionable behavior due to their having unimpressive job titles and to very obviously suffering from pitifully low self-esteem.
In my opinion and experiences with them, Felix and Micaela haven't the integrity and the maturity to admit to wrongdoing and to apologize, and I suspect that I can reasonably assume that my review will be deemed as "inflammatory."
There are other issues to report, however including them here would make for a very lengthy read. These will be addressed at another time.
My review is honest and unexaggerated. I stand by my words and will continue to do so.
