The more specific, usually the better it turns out (in my experience). The percentage of great haircuts I've gotten here is by far the highest. This location might be tricky to find at first, but after that it's easy. It's right across from Granite City/Cherryvalle Mall. I also like that you can check in online/the app and they usually give you coupons for $1-$2 off your next haircut. If you come here often, they sometimes run a deal where you can buy several haircuts at once (like a gift card) for $10/ haircut. Take advantage of that deal if you're a regular.

After sending the complaint the next time in, my oldest son (where we filled out the complaint) was "no longer welcome" at the state street store. I had to wait about 20 minutes before my service began as Pattana finished up her previous service, but both Pattana and the girl at the front desk were apologetic and made me comfortable in the meantime in the waiting area. The bathrooms were clean and I was offered tea/coffee/water right away after coming in for my appointment. The salon also uses Aveda products, which I LOVE and are great for all hair different hair types. Pattana was a great stylist. She was warm and friendly and made sure that she knew exactly what I wanted for my cut. I hadn't had a haircut in several months and brought in photos of a long bomb on my phone. She made sure she looked carefully over the photos and that I understood how the haircut would frame my face and be different lengths in the front/back. I appreciated how much care she took to make sure I would be happy with the final result. Throughout the cutting process, she made sure I was okay with the length that was being taken off.
