Checked back next day, machine was fixed but they wouldn't print it that day because they had already done it at other branch...but were not going to send it until the next day? So they basically waited 3 days to send me my card, meanwhile zero help with their online banking app. Zero instruction about what the account features, rules and such were either. All around absolutely terrible customer service which is what I was looking for in a local bank. Will be closing this account as soon as possible and staying with online banking since their service is so shoddy

I had the worst experience, I had made a deposit in cash, the teller counts the money on the machine a couple of times, and he told me I was short of money, I told him to give me my money back, I counted it, and I was missing money. I have asked the Assistant Manager to balance the teller's money and she just checked his computer she did not count his money to make sure he balanced. I have requested the video when the teller was counting my money to the assistant manager, branch manager, reginal and district manager, I was told they cannot show me the video. I am very frustrated; I trusted this branch with my money and in front of my face my money disappears and now the bank does not want to help me by showing me the video. Also, in the past I had made a cash deposit and the teller told me I was missing money, I told the teller to give me my cash back and I counted it, and I found the missing money. It seems that tellers are used to telling customers they are missing money, when making cash deposits. This branch cannot be trusted.

Advice that she didn't have to take the time to give, but it meant a lot because it shows that she values me as a customer... it's the little things that people do that are huge, helpful and very appreciated by others..... I have to say this is the third time Rosemary has helped me and whether it was question or an issue, it was her mannerism and professionalism I encountered every time and was taken by... I have to say the customer service in this branch is simply exceptional.... I have always dealt with Felisha and MaryEllen who are so caring and always go above and beyond for me and will spend as much time needed to resolve any issues even if it meant staying late. They are truly genuine and I adore both of them. It's not often you find a small local branch where everyone including tellers, customer service , managers etc.....know and value you... They all call me by my first name and greet me upon entrance and I now know why the bank is so well run and so professionally managed....... and that is because they take after their manager Rosemary.......

I took out a home equity line of credit and it was the worst customer service experience that I can…read morerecall. It took over 2 months to get the approval done and I was frequently not told where things stood or what was taking so long. I have taken on HELOC's before and it usually required less than 2 weeks from start to finish. Then, after finally getting approved, appropriating the approved funds was a complete mystery. They provided almost no instructions at all. A few weeks after signing/opening of the HELOC, I finally received a checkbook in the mail. I wrote a check to pay one of my other accounts and CSB rejected payment without even sending me an email or a notice. Completely amateur operation, IMO.

I was told 'No' that I needed to be a customer. I explained to the Teller that I technically was a customer because you just charged me to withdraw money from your ATM. She said "No, you need have an account here. REALLY! You can charge me money to withdraw money from your ATM but you won't change 20s for 50s and 100s! I then explained to her that this is exactly why I DON'T have an account here. I left and went to a real bank (Citizens) where they happily exchanged the money for me. SMEFCU is a small bank, and yes, sometimes there are some trade-offs with what the larger banks provide for services. However, at the end of the day, SMEFCU doesn't steal your hard-earned money like the large banks by demanding fees for anything and everything. Plus, their customer service has a quaint and genuine hometown quality to it which you won't get very often from large banks who redirect most of their customer service calls to foreign countries so they can exploit desperately poor people by paying them pennies on the dollar while simultaneously depriving Americans of employment opportunities just because they don't want to have to pay a livable wage to anyone. So, don't support the big banks. They don't support you!!! SMEFCU is a great bank. I highly recommend them for all your banking needs!

I have been a member with this branch for 23 years and not impressed with the small Credit Union…read morethere are no perks to it even when you have been a loyal banker. When traveling my card is declined even when I notify the branch that I will be traveling and have to go through the fraud line and at times have issues with my Card and have to call taking time out of my work day. The tellers there are wonderful, helpful and professional. However, the mgr, Sheryl, did not…read moreimpress me. I deposited a large amount of checks that were fairly high. TD put the checks on hold, which they legally can do and I have no problem with. I met with Sheryl yo see how long the hold woukd be. She pulled-up my account and told me she could see the checks were deposited, cleared and I had spent the money. No matter how I attempted to explain to her and basic math would have shown that I had not spent the money. I left frustrated and feeling belittled, called customer service and they were able to quickly see the money eas in fact just on hold, not spent and gave me a date of availability. The CS agent called her while I was on hold explained the situation to her and still claimed I had spent the money.
