They handle you with care and since they're local and a credit union I trust them better than the bigger banks. I've had them for almost 2 years now and I've been super pleased. I came in recently and Amanda helped me with an issue on my account- I told her I was in a rush and she helped me very rapidly and she treated me with respect and respected my time. She fixed the issue and was very sweet. I am so happy that I switched I have not ran into any of the issues I used to run into with all the other banks. I am so thankful for everything this bank has to offer. They're super convenient for me. I also am going to have my boyfriend switch banks as well.

Since moving to the Coventry/West Warwick area more than five years ago, I chose this local bank, and have not regretted my decision. I have received excellent service at this branch, and the employees have the right combination of friendly and professional, both the tellers and the bankers. This location sometimes gets busy, but the tellers keep the line moving. It was also as a customer of Centreville Bank that I became acquainted with the convenience of direct deposit and online banking. I'm not a big computer geek, but their online banking website is very easy to use, and I like being able to transfer money between multiple accounts to manage my finances as needed. The only reason I'm giving this location 4 stars, instead of 5, is that this part of Tiogue Avenue has INSANE traffic. The bank is right across the street from a shopping plaza and a Speedway gas station, and right next to a popular local bakery. After too many harrowing experiences trying to pull out of the bank and take a left onto Tiogue Avenue (even with a middle turning lane!), I now always turn right onto Tiogue Avenue. If I need to go the other way, I will go into another parking lot to turn around.

I hate writing these reviews but they need to be heard…read more I was shopping around for a new bank a few months ago. And I had heard amazing things about Washington Trust so I figured I would go check it out and hopefully like what I hear and make them my new bank. Well I was sitting in line for maybe 10 minutes. There was 2 tellers working and it was the weekend so no big deal, I'm patient. There was 2 people in front of me and none behind me. The 2 people in front of me were being helped and I was next. So 2 people ( who were together) come in, and immediately the worker asks them what they need ( mind you I was there for 10+ minutes at this point and nobody asked me what I needed), they say they want to sign up for a checking account same thing I was interested in, the audacity of her to tell them to have a seat she'll be right with them. So I look at her and say " I came here for the same thing, I was in this line and was never asked what I was here for, so I do not matter?", she then proceeding to act like now she cared. I walked right out of there. It was clear what was going on here, and I didn't appreciate it at all. I found me a new bank and I am very happy with them. But I am appalled at how I was treated here.

It's beautifully landscaped (although I don't get why they fenced in such a large section of lawn to the left of the building). Anyway, the parking lot seems adequate, but inside is smaller than their other branches, and felt very cramped. The waiting area to speak to a banker consists of one bar-sized table, with one chair. The teller counter was small, too. I went to speak to someone regarding some fees the bank levied on me after my wife attempted to make a cell phone payment that was declined. The banker I spoke to (I think he may have been the branch manager, but I'm not certain) was non-judgmental, but said his hands were tied, and that he would not be able to do even a partial refund of the fees. He did, however, explain why my account got hit with the fees (yes, there were multiple fees), and offer advice on how to prevent it from happening again. And, he did seem genuinely sympathetic. "I hope I didn't ruin your day," he said. Not to worry, I told him, I was already having a bad day. While I didn't like the branch itself due to its small size and closeness to a very busy intersection, I did appreciate his professionalism and helpfulness, hence the 3-star overall rating.
