I just cannot get away from these people…read more When I closed my account I had them mail me a check for about $10 that was the remainder of my money in my account that I couldn't get to by ATM. They send me the check, but I forgot to cash it before it expired. Whoops, ok, my loss. But then, a month or so later, I get a statement from them suddenly. Turns out they reinstated my account, put the money from the "stale" check into it... and then charged me $2.50 for having a balance less than $25. On an account that's supposed to be closed! So now I have to go through the whole process again of closing my account.

Not BMO.They let it run out and leave you stranded. Now I have to go and get in line to see a teller. Only to be told I have to get in another line to see a banker. A total of about an hour. On my Only day off. I end up with Erica who is completely unapologetic. Who also put someone else ahead of me in line because they only spoke Spanish. What a horrible racist bank.
