I'll start off by saying everyone here was very nice. But the problem is that maybe they don't know…read morewhat they are doing, screwed something up and tried to cover themselves, or are just horrible communicators. So my sister and I went there on a Thursday to open a trust because my parents are selling their house. We met with Shawn, showed him our IDs, all the trust paperwork, everything needed to open it. We were told the "back office" needed to approve it. Ok. Weds my sister called and went in to finalize this. We couldn't complete the paperwork because both of us were not there. She signed and I told her to sign for me. They called later and said I needed to come in in person. I fly up from florida, go to sign, and they said BOTH of us need to be there in person to sign at the same time. Not even notarized. The woman wouldn't email my attorney sister the form to fill out ahead of time because it had to be "the original copy" I was also told that when we come in and sign (Friday afternoon) it could take an additional 3 business days for the "back office" (whoever they are) to approve. two grown ass adults, 800+ credit scores, depositing large sum of cash, borrowing absolutely nothing. they made it as difficult as possible. If you don't want the business just say so, but don't mess with people's time. We called Bank of America in Bayshore, went in and had the whole thing open and funded in 55 minutes. Completely incompetent Chase.

Used to use this bank for deposits in to my corporate account. Tried to deposit cash. The dark…read morehaired middle age woman asked me for id. I said really? For a cash deposit? She said yes it's policy. (I rarely get asked for id) I said ok and went to my car for id. She then says said you don't need id and didn't even glance at it. Ok. Next time I go back same thing she asks me for id. I said you must be kidding. I took my slip and went 3 minutes east to West Babylon chase. Lovely Muslim woman took deposit no problem. I don't think people are depositing cash into others commercial accounts illegally. Most chase banks require exact amount for deposits and do not give change, very unusual for a bank I think. Go to West Babylon chase and avoid Babylon.

Went to Chase bank to open a checking account. Let me start by saying Aaron Morales was AWESOME!!…read moreDid a fantastic job helping us out and working with us. We have a mortgage with chase, so he took the time to show us how to link accounts and get set up. Unfortunately , The same cannot be said for Mr. Morales colleagues. Another banker named Donna (who was not helping anyone) had the audacity to come into the cubical while Mr. Morales was helping us and asked him to help another customer. So. What was Donna's expectation here? That he should drop everything and help someone else out instead of continuing to help us? It was extremely unprofessional and rude. We will bring this to the attention of the bank manager and regional manager, in hopes they assess this and take some form of action. We shouldn't be made to feel that we aren't as important than the woman who walked in after us and was in a rush. If she felt that strongly, she wasn't doing anything and could have helped them herself. How dare you come and interrupt us while we are opening an account. It was not a good experience. If you are opening an account with chase, ask for Mr. Morales who was fantastic. Stay away from Donna. Hopefully someone will come out and conduct some retraining on customer care and service. I left the bank feeling annoyed instead of happy that I opened an account. Donna- I will be speaking with supervisor after supervisor above you, until I get some results.

Went in to West Islip Chase branch today to open an account. The bank was completely empty. So I…read morewent to one of three tellers doing nothing and asked to open an account. She asked if I had an appointment or if I had an account. I said no, I want to open an account. She said they had no openings today, so maybe I should go to Babylon Chase. I had just come from Bay Shore Chase and they were busy so I understood that, but this branch had no one in it and at least three tellers doing nothing. I guess Chase does not want new business and I now know I definitely do not want to give them my business!
