This is uncharted territory for me. I mean, do people Yelp banks? I guess so seeing how this TD…read morebranch has a shameful 1 1/2 stars (albeit only two reviews, and one about....pets?). No check in or pics from me today. Honestly, I wouldn't have even pondered the thought of typing up my words if it wasn't for a wonderful experience this morning. Yeah, one upside just to TD banks in general are their hours. Seven days a week and they're open on a few federal holidays (i.e. today). So with being off for the week, my girlfriend and I swung by this branch to plan for the future and open a savings account. We strolled in and I found the place to look quite prestigious (for a bank) and classy in style compared to the Capital One branch I'm used to banking at. We waited maybe five minutes before a bank employee came over to help us out. Whether she ever reads this review or not, I have to give a major shout out and super props to Lauren. She was extremely down to earth and personable throughout the account process. My girlfriend and I had a few questions and she beat us to the punch before we even had a chance to ask. We were in and out and super impressed in about a half hour. She gave us her card if we had any further questions or want to do any future changes or banking there, which I would totally consider after this awesome interaction. Overall, I know it's just a TD bank, but a big part of banking and dealing with money is having good customer service. You want to feel comfortable and relaxed when working this stuff out. Lauren had that tenfold, and whether she's always there or whether future transactions will be similarly processed is all told by time. For now, an easy five star review.

Here we go, What can I say about teachers federal credit…read moreUnion? I have been with teachers federal credit Union for over 15 years. I have experienced good , bad ,and the ugly with this bank. Their great on interest rates if you getting any type of loan. Customer service can be a bit challenging from time to time. Speed of bank tellers really suck. I sat on line for 2 hrs just to take out money. I thought it was ridiculous. Even before the pandemic I sat online for almost an half hour . Teachers always having issues on Friday with their Atm machine. Long line waiting to use it but either it runs out of money or someone card gets stuck in it. I don't understand why they dont have more than two atm machines. Another issue is most banks don't charge fees but teachers charge fees for almost everything. I decided that I'm going to change my bank from here soon. Good luck to anyone who has this bank.

The last time I opened a bank account at a different bank it took about 45 minutes, even though I had a few other accounts at that bank also.

This review is to identify M & T as a superlative bank to consider for several reasons. 1. The banking staff are exceptional and experts. 2. Headed by Anne, the Branch Manager, her associates are eager, patient and pleased to serve the customer. 3. All representatives take a personal interest in the customer's needs and make recommendations where appropriate Jermaine to the banking session. They're never in a rush. 4. Coffee is served as a nice touch for any customers who might have a short wait. But rest assured, the bank associate will spend as much time as you require till your banking needs are completed. 6. Full notary and other services are provided. "One Stop Shopping." 7. Unexpected, from time to time, I receive a personal phone call from their staff Just to determine if we need anything or merely to inquire how my family is. I've never seen this any where else. In short, M & T takes the time to make your banking experience most pleasant and personal. Were I able and not limited to five stars, I would easily rate ten stars to M & T.

On several occasions (when I felt I had the stamina to deal with them) I would try to ask to have this corrected. Never happened. Today I tried yet again and was told by the representative that it couldn't be done on her end but she'd contact corporate and ask them to help. A bit later I received a voicemail from someone at corporate saying they were contacted by me but they don't know what it's about!!! First of all, I didn't do the contacting, and secondly why wasn't the reason for corporate being contacted in the representative's message? I'm truly baffled. But this isn't the first negative experience I've had with NEFCU/Jovia. In 2015 I sat in the bank president's office while they were trying to figure out who was hacking into my account and setting up large bill pay amounts to be sent to themselves. While I was there it happened again and I was the only one to catch it. Closed my accounts on the spot. So NEFCU/Jovia, how can we resolve this? My confidence in you is pretty low. With everything computerized changing an incorrect mortgage should take less than a minute. Why have I had to keep trying for 8.5 years?
