This is Liora from the cardiovascular institute I have been with Citibank for 26 years in the first Encino office on Ventura and since this office opened I want to say that the branch manager Ana Gonzalez goes above and beyond to help her customers she is fantastic and very knowledgeable. Eric Guevara is really amazing always helping everyone, he is very pleasant and nice to everyone. He is fast and always goes the extra mile. I also made some deposits I think her name is Verdue and she is extremely nice. They also have a new girl don't know her much but she seems very very sweet. I highly recommend this branch. Worst customer service EVER!!!! It seems that there have been several negative reviews about Christina a couple of years ago, and I guess something's haven't changed. I had scheduled an appointment online and had a confirmation email. When I entered the bank which had 0 customers at the the time, I explained to the staff sitting at the customer service desk that I had an appointment and showed them my email. They told me that that they had no idea what I was talking about, did not offer to help me in any way, and just let me stand there like I didn't exist!!!!! Needless to say I closed my existing account with them today. Unbelievable coldness at this branch!!! read more

Went to pay a closed credit card account due to a death in the family and the banker and teller (both ladies) gave me a hard time. They spoke in Armenian to hide what they were saying and did not even offer condolences. The male teller who I believe is Hispanic was very kind and patient and was able to help me finish the request while they laughed and joked to themselves on the side. read more

Worst bank and customer service ever! Constantly blocking account for unexplained reasons and cannot get answers on their customer service line. Which unfortunately brings me to this branch, as customer service tells me to go there. Once, im there, I'm told I have to call customer service?! Come to hear new excuse that my account is closed because I have a P.O. Box for a mailing address. The very inept banker tells me "all banks need your home address" I let him know I have been using other (better) banks for years and have never heard this before. Additionally, I opened this account over a year ago with this address with no issues at that time. So why now? He proceeded to ask why I have a P.O. Box and I thought that was weird. I need it for security reasons but it's really none of his business. But I told him because I needed my account unblocked. After that, he said he needed to do a google search of my house and see pictures of my house to make sure it was a house!!! Wtf! After I told him I needed privacy. I felt so violated. He had assured me the account would be unblocked in an hour or two. It was not. I was lied to. I am still blocked from a substantial amount of my money and I feel violated by this banker and this branch. Stay away!!!! read more

This Citibank Encino branch has the worst customer experience. When waiting for a personal banker they ignore you when there is no else in the banking chamber. You explain what you need to the Teller and then 15 mins later someone comes by and asks you again only to come back 5 mins later stating they cannot see you for a basic set of questions. Not communicating with the Teller. The Personal Banker ignored the Teller's request and myself. Never come to this branch. JUST THE WORST banking experience time and time again! read more

Horrible personal at this branch!! in this last instance, CHRISTINA. I could elaborate on this latest adventure but all things have been said in other reviews that I would complain about but I will add that this woman CHRISTINA, actually pulled down her face mask and got within a foot of my face and pointing towards the teller windows that I could close my accounts. Great service and experience. I would give a 5+ star review if that choice was possible. I had a complicated multi-owner account (1 person out of the country, one deceased, and the third person is my 90 year old mother) issue. Mary and the branch manager held my 90 year old mother and my hand and spent a lot of time helping us sort things out. Mary did not miss a beat with the other customers....when we had a forms to fill out or make a call to corporate Mary would serve other customers. After working through security protocols and other bureaucratic most do(s) we completed what was needed and did it all in one long complicated visit. I do not know what we would have done without the help of Mary and her manager, who's name I do not remember unfortunately. read more

Encino has a great staff. I've had my account for quite a while & never had an issue that couldn't get resolved.

So I'm sitting here for 30 min to open a new account before the banker finally comes over to greet me and tell me he has a appointment at 1:00 so unfortunately he can't see me. By the way he serviced another client before me who walked in 20 minutes after me. There was another gentlemen sitting there and he stood up and told the other banker she was here first...nothing changed. THIS BRANCH IS THE WORST! read more

We have had a bunch of problems with this branch that I've not had at my home branch, or anywhere else. Several times they have lost checks that were in a courier envelope, and then mysteriously found them hours later. Weeks ago, we sent in a check reorder, and they never submitted it, so now we have no checks. (They did put in a new order today, and said they will reimburse us for the extra $24 for expedited shipping.) And 2 weeks ago, a teller deposited a large deposit of ours into someone else's account. They did not follow up with me as promised, and took 2 days to get the money into our account. We understand people occasionally make mistakes, but this is too many, and it makes me very uncomfortable with how casual they are with handling other people's money. read more
